We knew our 40 year old detached bungalow roof was in need of replacing and our neighbour's houses had new roofs recently. After contacting a few of those roofing companies, we took to George and Lancashire Building straight away. His company is the only one with NFRC certification approval locally. Our house insurance also approved his company prior to work, which was reassuring. George knew our situation was really stressful as my husband had been very ill and we desperately needed help. George juggled some jobs around and work began the following week. The entire team are amazing, special shout outs to Charlie, Jak and Chaz. Sorry I can't remember everyone's names. There were two storms during the replacement and snow and ice. Those guys are unbelievably good at working through no matter what. They are polite, friendly, professional and above all fantastic builders. The price remained the same as quoted, just a bit extra to insulate our loft to the regulations standards. In fact, George even saved us some money without cutting corners. We received our certificates from NFRC as promised in the post. Our home is now quieter, much warmer and the condensation on the windows has gone. Just wish we had had it done sooner. We have left it a couple of months before writing a review to see if there were any problems, and a tiny issue with the gutter pipe was found. I contacted George and it was fixed in a few minutes. Genuinely George and his crew are superheroes!

George and the team did a fantastic job re-pointing and replacing the flashing on my chimney. Everything was done to a very high standard, and they stayed late on a Sunday to get the job finished. They cleaned up after themselves (they probably left it cleaner than when they started) and were lovely and friendly all round. George even got some for me when buying food for everyone, which was extremely generous. It took a while to get the job done, but that was mostly just down to the weather and time of year. It was more than worth the wait anyway. I would wholeheartedly recommend them for any roofing work.
