Lancashire Roofing and Building Ltd

Had a full roof and apex ceiling opened up with two Velux installed for extra light. Had my share of bad experiences with tradesmen in the past but these guys were a breath of fresh air: clean, polite and cracked on with the job. You know that moment when you have paid up and want them to come back? Well, these guys did. One small issue where a window was slightly out and had to be moved over. They were straight back on it and sorted, no qualms. Top job, thanks George, Charlie and the lads.

In June 2023 we had a complete reroof carried out by Lancashire Roofing and Building (George and his team) all highly skilled and professional Charlie etc. All work was carried out in an efficient and timely manner and site was kept neat and tidy throughout. All work was covered by an insurance backed 25 year guarantee, supplied by The Confederation of Roofing Contractors. I highly recommend you contact this company if you require any roofing work, as they provide drone pictures of your roof before and after, so you know they are doing work that really needs doing.

George and his Team were amazing. George explained how busy they were but he managed to fit us in and completed everything we needed doing. George kept in regular contact. The lads who came on the day were all really grand lads and very respectful of the property at all times. I really recommend George and his fab Team for anything you need doing.

For reasons I won't go into, a week before our house was due to be surveyed and sold, I was left without a waterproof roof on my house, no idea how to fix it and panicking massively about my house sale, and, more importantly, the safety of my home with two children inside. It was one of the worst weeks of my life as events spiralled out of control and left me in a truly dreadful situation. Enter George Clarkson from Lancashire Roofing and Building. Heroes don't usually come dressed like roofers in a pick up truck, but, to me and my family, George and his lads have been exactly that. From the moment I first shook his hand, he gave off a sense of trustworthiness and dependability that few others in his trade can get anywhere near (as I had earlier found out, to my profound cost). George assessed the situation, provided a fully visible and transparent breakdown of costs and juggled his diary around to fit us in. More than that though, he was in constant communication with myself, answered any questions I had fully and quickly and provided crucial reassurance. When it came to the actual physical build, Lancashire Roofing and Building were again beyond exceptional. With a team of six run by Charlie, the lads were quick, efficient, polite, hard-working and fully communicative as to how progress was going. I asked a 1001 questions of Charlie and his crew and they were all answered honestly and fully. You really cannot ask more than that. A top company!

Called Lancashire Roofing and Building when I discovered light coming through my pitched garage roof . Living in a detached house with garage attached I needed to address the issue . George was responsive with rapid attendance , a drone survey and reasonable route for work and full explanation of what was needed . Fantastic service by the two lads ( ? Charlie and Brandon ) who were professional and carried our work with minimal disruption . All work demonstrated on photos and source of issue proactively sorted ✔️. Thank you and would use without question if need services again

A big thank you to George and his team, especially Charlie and Jak who worked on my roof following a bad experience from another local Roofer who left my roof in a poor state requiring me to engage a building surveyor to carry out a Roofing survey which revealed serious substandard work which I am going to pursue through Trading Standards. I asked Lancashire Roofing and Building Ltd to sort out the problems for me and gave George a copy of the Surveyors Report. They started work and kept me informed of everything they were doing. They were all professional and I can't find fault in their work commitment throughout the project. They even went the extra mile by completing work on my porch. I can't thank you enough for taking away the stress over the previous month on both myself and my wife. If I have any further work in the future I know who to contact. I will spread the message to both work colleagues and friends. Once again, Thank you

We knew our 40 year old detached bungalow roof was in need of replacing and our neighbour's houses had new roofs recently. After contacting a few of those roofing companies, we took to George and Lancashire Building straight away. His company is the only one with NFRC certification approval locally. Our house insurance also approved his company prior to work, which was reassuring. George knew our situation was really stressful as my husband had been very ill and we desperately needed help. George juggled some jobs around and work began the following week. The entire team are amazing, special shout outs to Charlie, Jak and Chaz. Sorry I can't remember everyone's names. There were two storms during the replacement and snow and ice. Those guys are unbelievably good at working through no matter what. They are polite, friendly, professional and above all fantastic builders. The price remained the same as quoted, just a bit extra to insulate our loft to the regulations standards. In fact, George even saved us some money without cutting corners. We received our certificates from NFRC as promised in the post. Our home is now quieter, much warmer and the condensation on the windows has gone. Just wish we had had it done sooner. We have left it a couple of months before writing a review to see if there were any problems, and a tiny issue with the gutter pipe was found. I contacted George and it was fixed in a few minutes. Genuinely George and his crew are superheroes!

George and the team did a fantastic job re-pointing and replacing the flashing on my chimney. Everything was done to a very high standard, and they stayed late on a Sunday to get the job finished. They cleaned up after themselves (they probably left it cleaner than when they started) and were lovely and friendly all round. George even got some for me when buying food for everyone, which was extremely generous. It took a while to get the job done, but that was mostly just down to the weather and time of year. It was more than worth the wait anyway. I would wholeheartedly recommend them for any roofing work.
