Lockdowns and a new kitchen installation caused delays to beginning works but, once started, it was full steam ahead. Leon’s crew arrived every day when promised, worked hard, put up with my young dog and went out of their way to ensure that as little disturbance as possible was caused. Before they finished each day, they left the house cleaner than when they started! My only complaint was that his workers kept saying “no thanks” to my offers of cups of tea - won them around in the end though. Could not ask for a more professional, pleasant and competent crew and Leon went above and beyond to be helpful. I will be using them again in 2022.

Leon's team did an excellent job at rectifying some decorating work that had been done to a very poor standard previously by a different decorator. Leon's team worked quickly and were very collaborative when decided how best to paint/wallpaper. Will definitely use them in future.

Contacted Leon early October 2021, asked him to quote for redecorating an empty apartment that we were due to occupy by the end of the month. Said he was very busy but would see what he could do. Came within 48 hrs, received a quote within a week. Did his best to accommodate us and completed the job 3 days before we moved in. Quality of work second to none. Kept us well informed throughout and was very responsive when we had questions. On time and on budget.

We were very impressed with the quality of the work Leon and his team carried out on our house. The painters were very polite, tidy and considerate and left the outside immaculate at the end of the day. One of the reasons we used the company was that Leon Shaw was the only decorating company able to provide a carpenter to fix some areas of rotten wood before decorating and he did an excellent job sorting out the issue for us. In addition Leon was quick to come out to give us a quote and to reply to emails or phone calls. I wouldn’t hesitate to use this company again and to recommend them to others.

Leon and his team have transformed our rooms with their decorating skills. From first contact, Leon has been responsive, professional and straightforward. He came around quickly to quote and his team started 1 week later. Paul and Chris, who did the work, were very experienced, talked through all decisions with us, quick and tidy, and great to have around the house. The wallpaper looks wonderful and now we are looking round the rest of the house to see what else we can have done.

Two men (sometimes 3) worked for a week to paint a large hall, stairs and landing. They were efficient, accommodating and considerate of the fact that we were working from home. They turned up on time each day, kept the work areas very tidy and were very willing to tell us about the products they were using and the work they were doing. No complaints about the work at all.

Earlier in the year, Leon Shaw Painting and Decorating painted the bathroom and hallway walls, ceiling and woodwork at my house. I have used Leon many times before and the work is always carried out to a very high standard with great attention to detail. There are no wobbly lines in sight. They are always tidy too so there is minimum cleaning up to do after they've left - bonus! The customer service is great and Leon is committed to making sure the job is done properly and you are happy with the outcome. I'd definitely recommend Leon.

Leon and his team have done three wallpapering jobs for me to a very high standard, including a large wall mural which was not the most straightforward, but which they hung perfectly. The seams are invisible. Highly recommend their work. They’re not the cheapest, but the value for money and then certainty that it’ll be a well finished job is worth paying for.
