Harjinder and his team completed a two-storey extension which included a kitchen remodelling, converting the garage into a utility area and downstairs toilet, and a room upstairs for an en suite to be installed at a later date. I cannot recommend Harjinder and his team highly enough, they have been fantastic from start to finish. I used an architect to draw up plans before I found Liberty Design & Build but I wish I had used Harjinder from the beginning – he made improvements to my original plans and gave me excellent advice and guidance throughout. His communication was excellent, I was kept in the loop at all times, even when I went away on holiday for 2 weeks in the middle of the build. Harjinder and his team were super friendly, respectful and tidy, keeping any disruptions to a minimum which was great because I mostly work from home. The work was completed on time and on budget, and to such a high quality that everyone that has visited my house since has asked for his details! Nothing was too much trouble, even when I asked him to create a ‘secret door’ to my utility area. He also helped me to improve on the kitchen plans drawn up by the kitchen supplier, as well as source some bespoke cupboards and quartz worktops at a fraction of the price I was expecting. Harjinder and his team honestly exceeded my expectations and I won’t hesitate to use them for my next house project!

We have just had a hip to gable, dormer loft conversion completed on our house and are over the moon with the quality, finish, and experience throughout the whole build. Harjinder is extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy, he talked us through our plans, came up with ideas to improve, and was really easy to communicate with. Him and his team (assistant, electrician and plasterer) worked on site every day (long days and even some Saturdays) throughout heatwaves and thunderstorms!! They were all brilliant in accommodating our three little boys "help" and everything was left really clean and tidy at the end of the days. The quality of the work done is second to none, we are so happy with the results! Harjinder even went out of his way to create a bespoke stair bannister as an additional job. Final cost was exactly as quoted and payment was in stages after each stage completed. Harjinder also liaised with architects, building control and structural engineers on our behalf. We wish we had used Harjinder for the plans and planning permission stages as we will not be recommending our architects!! Harjinder and Liberty DB come extremely highly recommended, quality, communication and value for money are all excellent. We will be using him again and have recommended him to both family and friends. Harjinder even bought the boys a special tool box and drill on the last day! Many many thanks Harjinder and team 👍😄

Many thanks to Harjinder and the Team from Liberty Design and Build Ltd. They completed an excellent job on our single storey extension and front door replacement. What stood out about the excellent service was the excellent problem solving, and clear communication throughout. Harjinder and the Team were also very contentious and caring when our daughter was born part way through the project, and they kindly moved work around to fit our needs. We had struggled to come to an agreement with our original kitchen designer/fitter, and Harjinder went above an beyond to solve this problem, and come up with a new kitchen design solution and supplier, which was far better than our original, and we are so very pleased with. Communication throughout was very timely and thorough, and it was very easy to ask questions and make suggestions with Harjinder via Whatsapp. Throughout the project he demonstrated excellent problem solving skills and imparted his wisdom on design and finish style. The suppliers, Liberty Design used throughout, such as bricklayers, electricians, plumbers and plasterers were all professional and hard working and completed a fantastic job. The team were generally very clean and tidy, when packing away at the end of the day and Harjinder kindly gave us a temporary oven for when there was a week of disruption and changeover with the kitchen. Although the overall project took longer than planned, we are over the moon with the finished extension.

We have had a single storey extension across the whole of the rear of our property, including a new close coupled garage to the side, together with extension to the living room and new front door / porch to the front elevation. The property is constructed of Yorkshire stone. A new kitchen with island was also incorporated into the rear extension. One key feature of the build was the 7 metre long steel beam that had to be incorporated to support the whole upper storey of the rear of the house, opening into the extension. From the initial meeting with Harjinder, we developed a good ‘feel’ that Liberty would be a good choice for us and - as a retired Electrical Engineer myself, used to large construction projects - it was clear that Harjinder ‘knew his stuff’. From initially agreeing a price and the then longish intervening wait for Liberty being able to start, due to COVID, Ukraine, etc., we knew that construction material costs were going up. We agreed a revised price, which Harjinder tried hard to minimise. Once under way there were then clear stage payments with no surprises. Communication has remained excellent throughout and the installation of the 7 metre long, 4 tonne-ish beam went flawlessly, which is a testament to Harjinder’s professionalism. A ‘telling’ comment from the Building Control Officer in one of his visits was ‘I’m not need here on this project’. The standard of the stonework existing to new is excellent and many people have commented on how good it is.

Just simply excellent, the standard of work and care was brilliant. Communication, timekeeping, work and aftercare was faultless. Harjindar is very knowledgeable and I would advise anyone to get him involved as early as possible. Throw your ideas at him and he will help provide honest feedback. The earlier you engage with him I believe you will have a fantastic experience. Trust was a number one point when I decided who to pick and you can definitely trust Harjindar ( no cowboy). I am very happy with the work they did they considered myself and my family. They were helpful to any questions I asked and explained in full to all my queries, they were very punctual in arriving on time to work they were clean not leaving things around. They were very polite and well-spoken they made you at ease really very good.

He provided helpful advice and guidance so that I ended up with an extension that was far better than my original expectation. I am very pleased with the end result.

Liberty Design & Build led by Harjinder are the most professional builders I have engaged from the quotation stage right through to completion. Arrived on time, did what they said they would do at the price quoted. The finished product is a testament to this. What was particularly refreshing about Harjinder is his excellent communication skills and was always ready to offer suggestions that could improve the build. We spent a lot of time discussing how the bathroom could be configured for my disabled father. That time spent in the planning stage resulted in the perfect outcome. Harjinder also ensured his workers on the site shared his philosophy of outstanding customer service and was always present, supervising them. Would not hesitate to recommend Liberty to anyone who wants a professional job doing with no hassle and to budget.

Glad to have found a builder who is true to his word, gave us a fixed price extension build for a large double storey at the side of detached house and single extension to the back across the house. Payments were only made at each stage of build on completion- what more could you ask for in today’s horror build stories. Quality of work excellent, willing to change and advise throughout the build. Have already recommended to friends and family.

My house went through an entire renovation, Liberty Design came recommended and so were engaged to produce designs, pass through planning and then complete the build. During the build, numerous ideas were suggested, which in most cases were very welcomed and taken on board. Throughout the build, we were advised to order personal fittings and appliances so that they can be installed on time. This enabled the build to run on time and not fall behind. The works carried out were extensive: - Double storey side extension - 6m kitchen-diner extension - Loft conversion - 3 bathrooms, utility room and kitchen all fitted - Front porch rebuilt - Garden and front wall re-built - Drive block paved The kitchen was made to measure, ordered and fitted by Liberty who recommended a company they use to supply. I could not be more pleased with the outcome which exceeded my expectation. All of the tradesmen were project managed by Liberty which made the whole process so much easier, this cannot be underestimated as it's not easy pulling everything together. Liberty were very friendly, reliable, hard-working and tidy. I would highly recommend Liberty as a trusted company with a good reputation.
