Lifestyle Windows and Conservatories

Excellent advice and design. Completed to a very high standard. All the workmen were very easy to deal with and extremely helpful. We are really pleased with our conservatory, it is beyond our expectations.

We approached Lifestyle Windows following a recommendation. We visited the Ilkeston showroom a couple of times and found there to be a good selection of products on display, along with non-pushy service and advice. A site survey to take measurements at our property took place, followed by receipt of an extremely detailed, competitive quote based on our choices. Communication was good throughout and the fitters did an excellent job. We are very pleased with the end result and would recommend Lifestyle to others.

A great company we can't recommend enough! From talking us through the concept of a new solid roof conservatory, taking us through planning & design, & then dismantling & building our new one, we couldn't have asked for better service. They just took care of everything! Their product is quality & value for money, their service prompt, & their teams on site respected us and our property. Our overall experience has been stress free and we are delighted with the overall finish.

This is the second time that we have used Lifestyle, the first time was to change the conservatory to a new modern one with a solid roof, what a difference it made, kitchen opened up into the conservatory so it made a spacious extra room on the house, never used the sitting room since.. This time it was to change windows and front door, Liz came to measure and advise , at first we wanted to change for just new white UPVC, she showed us some photos of some work and was she right, we went for the Heritage flush windows in white, they have made such a difference, even though they are just white they have really changed the front of the house and made it look more modern, and a new grey composite door just finishes it off great. From the initial phone call to fitting everything went smooth, received a detailed quote within a few days, no pushy sales person, emails answered within an hour, fitters turned up on time and never stopped in the 2 days whilst they were fitting the door and windows. We chose this company for their aftercare and response to dealing with queries , nothing is too much trouble and always happy to oblige, they are a local company and would not go anywhere else, highly recommended. I would definitely recommend Lifestyle. Throughout the process everyone you dealt with were professional and supportive.......installers, plasterer electrician and office staff. I have been impressed by the quality of the product and the finished job looks great. The roof compliments my new anthracite composite front door. Also installed by Lifestyle. The door looks great as well and fitted perfectly. I'm happy I chose Lifestyle.

I needed an internal crittal style partition wall and two similar style doors and came across Lifestyle when visiting the Origin website. When I called someone answered the phone, they responded to emails promptly, I received a quote very quickly and they sent someone out to measure up in a timely manner. I was kept updated with delivery dates and fitting dates, both of which happened on the dates provided. The two gentleman who came to fit were polite, tidy, took their time and provided me with a finished job that both my husband and I are delighted with. My husband and I have very high standard and Lifestyle met these without effort. I could not recommend them enough.

Great work from start to finish, we had the whole house done with flush fit windows, new composite front door and rear French Doors. All installed to a high quality. Lifestyle have great attention to detail and the service is brilliant from first contact to the completion and aftercare.

I’m so pleased with my new windows and doors which make my house look fresh, modern and smart. From meeting Damian at the showroom, to liaising with Chris, the on site survey with Dan and all the way through to Ant and the fitting team, everyone has been professional and friendly. They have been great with also helping sort out a new window and door for my sister’s garage nearby. Although it was a wait to get the windows from when we first went to the showroom to the job being completed (due to high demand!), I am so pleased I stuck it out as the finished product is worth the wait. Even when I had a query afterwards, Chris was on it and responded quickly, with a visit booked the next day. Can’t fault the customer service.

Our decision to have a Conservatory/extension was not a difficult one to make, but finding the right but finding the right company to do the job we thought might be more tricky. However, choosing Lifestyle to complete the work was the best thing we could have done. We visited their showroom in Ilkeston in early Summer of 2024 and met Chris. There was no pushy salesmanship, just a sensible suggestion to go away and think what we actually wanted. Once we had firmed up our ideas Damien visited us to discuss what we were thinking and what would be possible. He then drew up some plans and costings, which we considered to be very reasonable. Work began in September 2024 with Sam & Aaron doing an excellent job of the groundworks and walls. Their work ethic was fantastic, as has been the case with all of the team. We are now enjoying our new space immensely and are looking forward to the summer months when we will be soaking up the peaceful atmosphere that has been created. Our conservatory has turned out to be as we’d hoped and more. We cannot thank all of the team at Lifestyle for their excellent craftsmanship, hard work and care & attention that they have consistently provided. We would not hesitate in recommending Lifestyle to anyone in the future.

Lifestyle came highly recommended by two seperate neighbours, so we felt confident from the outset that we would receive a high quality product and service. They did not disappoint. The whole process from design to installation was extremely smooth. Liz provided us with helpful advice when choosing our windows, supplying several design options and prices as our ideas developed. Our fitters were friendly and professional, taking utmost care as they worked around our home. We are thrilled with the finished result and will be choosing Lifestyle for any future projects.

We had a cold and unusable area in the back garden in which I wanted to place an extension. I chose Lifestyle because they are a Which recommended trader. They were easy to communicate with, were attentive to detail and quality during the build and although we were a tricky build (no rear access so everything had to go through the main house) it was always a pleasure to have the builders working. If I were to build anything else I would use them again.

After suffering a leaky and very old conservatory roof for many years, we decided enough was enough and got quotes for a new roof. Lifestyle were not the cheapest, but we instantly liked Chris and his whole ethos of the company. We were not disappointed. From the start of the process to the end, they were faultless. The communication was excellent, as was the service and product. John and Connor the fitters, were amazing. Such lovely gentlemen. They arrived when stated and worked so hard. Every day they tidied everything, you wouldn’t have known we’d had any work done. I cannot praise the whole team and Lifestyle enough. They were brilliant. Thank you for giving us a whole new bright room again.

We chose Lifestyle to replace our cold, tired & leaking plastic conservatory. After viewing the displays in Ilkeston, visits by Damian and Chris identified the most suitable roof for us. The survey then showed that the standard roof wasn't suitable, but Lifestyle researched & sourced an alternative from Guardian that fitted. Our thanks. Scaffolding went up a few days before the work started & materials arrived early on the first day. John and Connor removed the old conservatory, built the new structure, and were a pleasure to have around. Alan then made an excellent job of the plastering, Phil installed the sockets & lights, and Ian neatly fitted the skirting. We’d like to say how pleasant we found all of the team, & how respectful they were of our property, including tidying up as much as possible each day. The work took 4 weeks from start to finish. We now have a warm & watertight conservatory to enjoy, which looks like an additional room, rather than a lean-to! Sincere thanks!

Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish. We weren't sure of what we wanted, and wanted to see a range of doors in person before making the choice. So we popped to Lifestyle to have a look. They were brilliant, not pushy at all, just let us look around without any hassle. We then booked for a rep to come and measure up. Robert came when he said he would, went through our options and we placed the order. Again no pressure and very helpful and informative. After the order was placed Chris contacted me to arrange fitting, working around us. Always very helpful, answering any questions we had. Then the guys arrived to fit the door, Again, absolutely brilliant. Got on with the job and were done in around 3 hours. Brilliant bunch of chaps too, showed me everything I needed to know. The whole thing, from start to finish was brilliant. Excellent choice of doors, accessories, etc, and all at a brilliant price. If you need a firm that are local and won't rob you, I'd highly recommend Lifestyle. 10/10.

Highly recommend this family run business, i had 3 external doors replaced, ordering was easy with a surveyor who helped me decide on the best options, no pressure to buy, work was carried out on time with no mess left by the fitters, the doors look amazing, great quality, would recommend to family and friends and use myself again for my next project

We stumbled upon Lifestyle when searching for a new door, and following a visit to their showroom, we were really happy to progress with the work. Chris was very attentive and responsive and made sure we had the best door for our house. The team that came to survey the door and then fit the door were lovely and really respectful of the property. The fitting went really smoothly and we’re really happy with the finish. Very happy with the final product vs the price we paid and would recommend to others.

Lifestyle was one of 3 companies we approached for a replacement conservatory. Of the three, one was national, one regional, and Lifestyle being local. National came in at twice the price and then pestered me over a period of time offering bigger and bigger discounts to the point that I concluded they were ripping me off with the original price should I have accepted. Regional was high and not really interested. Lifestyle came in within expectations. I was impressed with the prompt design quotation and lack of pressure. After a further visit to their showroom to confirm quality we placed the order. Chris was really open and honest throughout the whole process, even if it was news you didn't want to hear . Lifestyle went to a lot of effort to make sure it was the correct dimensions for the existing wall. The installation guys were really diligent, ensuring the construction was accurate and went well. The only negative was the time it took from initial installation to getting the project finished (Snags closed, window boards fitted, and sealing) Overall, despite the glitch at the end, we are really pleased with the finished product which looks and feels like quality. We would be happy to recommend Lifestyle.

I am beyond pleased with the windows and door. The guys were really nice and courteous. They were tidy and professional, leaving no mess or evidence of their visit other than a job well done. I would highly recommend this company

The workers were friendly and a lot of the work seems good. But... Some mental health issues here required an as-much-as-possible 1-shop extension with no stress. They quote(d): "first fix included" "supply and fit two radiators" Then refuse to do either. "Plumbing itself and heating wasn't included." "Sorry this wasn’t very clear" I think that goes beyond "not very clear" into the bait/switch or misrepresentation zone. A tap needs moving; it's in the contract. They cut a boiler condensate pipe and leave it dripping onto the new roof; "Move existing pipes" is in the contract. They want me to pay for both. Twice, I quote the contract. Twice, they say "no plumbing or heating". Then they agree to the tap but don't offer to pay for the condensate pipe and add "Aside from that no plumbing or heating". There's more plumbing in the contract. Then the gully (plumbing): done after the wall is plastered, not before. Flat/straight stuff is no longer so. It's not major but it's silly. Then "Sorry, there's only 1 door on the contract". Luckily, the contract states "doors". The plastering around the door frames is a bit off; "you need to buy architrave". Some other work; well done but done without asking what I want (I guess as that's cheaper). So, I would 1/4 recommend them for careful people / easy contracts (mostly as they actually turned up unlike some builders I know) but 1 letter could have cost me a door and some people can't double-check contracts repeatedly so...

We had new windows and doors fitted and a garage conversion and we are very pleased with both. Chris is very responsive to emails and always on hand to answer any questions. We met Damien at the showroom a few times and was great at explaining our options. Dave was brilliant in completing our garage conversion, hard working and kept us informed of what was being done. All tradesmen arrived on time and cleared up after themselves. Pricing is also very reasonable so I would definitely recommend Lifestyle to my friends and family.

We had our old white UPVC conservatory with a polycarbonate roof replaced with black aluminium frames and a solid fully insulated roof, and the kitchen window replaced with patio doors. We have no hesitation in recommending Lifestyle. The whole team are reliable, helpful, friendly and efficient. There is no pushy hard sell. We were given honest good advice when discussing what we would like, and could achieve on our site and budget. Everything went to schedule. The only slight issue we had was addressed and resolved immediately - the French doors in the kitchen were initially installed slightly too deep into the aperture so the doors didn’t quite open fully back. The next day we mentioned this to the fitters, and without question or any fuss, they took it out and refitted it perfectly. We are really happy with everything and would definitely use Lifestyle again in the future, without even bothering to get quotes from other companies.

Lifestyle have converted our awful garage to a wonderful new room! The team they used of electricians, plasterers, joiners and plumbers were absolutely the best team! We've saved their details for any future work too. So happy with the job completed! Thank you so much! Caroline
