We chose Lifestyle to replace our cold, tired & leaking plastic conservatory. After viewing the displays in Ilkeston, visits by Damian and Chris identified the most suitable roof for us. The survey then showed that the standard roof wasn't suitable, but Lifestyle researched & sourced an alternative from Guardian that fitted. Our thanks. Scaffolding went up a few days before the work started & materials arrived early on the first day. John and Connor removed the old conservatory, built the new structure, and were a pleasure to have around. Alan then made an excellent job of the plastering, Phil installed the sockets & lights, and Ian neatly fitted the skirting. We’d like to say how pleasant we found all of the team, & how respectful they were of our property, including tidying up as much as possible each day. The work took 4 weeks from start to finish. We now have a warm & watertight conservatory to enjoy, which looks like an additional room, rather than a lean-to! Sincere thanks!

Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish. We weren't sure of what we wanted, and wanted to see a range of doors in person before making the choice. So we popped to Lifestyle to have a look. They were brilliant, not pushy at all, just let us look around without any hassle. We then booked for a rep to come and measure up. Robert came when he said he would, went through our options and we placed the order. Again no pressure and very helpful and informative. After the order was placed Chris contacted me to arrange fitting, working around us. Always very helpful, answering any questions we had. Then the guys arrived to fit the door, Again, absolutely brilliant. Got on with the job and were done in around 3 hours. Brilliant bunch of chaps too, showed me everything I needed to know. The whole thing, from start to finish was brilliant. Excellent choice of doors, accessories, etc, and all at a brilliant price. If you need a firm that are local and won't rob you, I'd highly recommend Lifestyle. 10/10.

Highly recommend this family run business, i had 3 external doors replaced, ordering was easy with a surveyor who helped me decide on the best options, no pressure to buy, work was carried out on time with no mess left by the fitters, the doors look amazing, great quality, would recommend to family and friends and use myself again for my next project

We stumbled upon Lifestyle when searching for a new door, and following a visit to their showroom, we were really happy to progress with the work. Chris was very attentive and responsive and made sure we had the best door for our house. The team that came to survey the door and then fit the door were lovely and really respectful of the property. The fitting went really smoothly and we’re really happy with the finish. Very happy with the final product vs the price we paid and would recommend to others.

Lifestyle was one of 3 companies we approached for a replacement conservatory. Of the three, one was national, one regional, and Lifestyle being local. National came in at twice the price and then pestered me over a period of time offering bigger and bigger discounts to the point that I concluded they were ripping me off with the original price should I have accepted. Regional was high and not really interested. Lifestyle came in within expectations. I was impressed with the prompt design quotation and lack of pressure. After a further visit to their showroom to confirm quality we placed the order. Chris was really open and honest throughout the whole process, even if it was news you didn't want to hear . Lifestyle went to a lot of effort to make sure it was the correct dimensions for the existing wall. The installation guys were really diligent, ensuring the construction was accurate and went well. The only negative was the time it took from initial installation to getting the project finished (Snags closed, window boards fitted, and sealing) Overall, despite the glitch at the end, we are really pleased with the finished product which looks and feels like quality. We would be happy to recommend Lifestyle.

I am beyond pleased with the windows and door. The guys were really nice and courteous. They were tidy and professional, leaving no mess or evidence of their visit other than a job well done. I would highly recommend this company

The workers were friendly and a lot of the work seems good. But... Some mental health issues here required an as-much-as-possible 1-shop extension with no stress. They quote(d): "first fix included" "supply and fit two radiators" Then refuse to do either. "Plumbing itself and heating wasn't included." "Sorry this wasn’t very clear" I think that goes beyond "not very clear" into the bait/switch or misrepresentation zone. A tap needs moving; it's in the contract. They cut a boiler condensate pipe and leave it dripping onto the new roof; "Move existing pipes" is in the contract. They want me to pay for both. Twice, I quote the contract. Twice, they say "no plumbing or heating". Then they agree to the tap but don't offer to pay for the condensate pipe and add "Aside from that no plumbing or heating". There's more plumbing in the contract. Then the gully (plumbing): done after the wall is plastered, not before. Flat/straight stuff is no longer so. It's not major but it's silly. Then "Sorry, there's only 1 door on the contract". Luckily, the contract states "doors". The plastering around the door frames is a bit off; "you need to buy architrave". Some other work; well done but done without asking what I want (I guess as that's cheaper). So, I would 1/4 recommend them for careful people / easy contracts (mostly as they actually turned up unlike some builders I know) but 1 letter could have cost me a door and some people can't double-check contracts repeatedly so...

We had new windows and doors fitted and a garage conversion and we are very pleased with both. Chris is very responsive to emails and always on hand to answer any questions. We met Damien at the showroom a few times and was great at explaining our options. Dave was brilliant in completing our garage conversion, hard working and kept us informed of what was being done. All tradesmen arrived on time and cleared up after themselves. Pricing is also very reasonable so I would definitely recommend Lifestyle to my friends and family.

We had our old white UPVC conservatory with a polycarbonate roof replaced with black aluminium frames and a solid fully insulated roof, and the kitchen window replaced with patio doors. We have no hesitation in recommending Lifestyle. The whole team are reliable, helpful, friendly and efficient. There is no pushy hard sell. We were given honest good advice when discussing what we would like, and could achieve on our site and budget. Everything went to schedule. The only slight issue we had was addressed and resolved immediately - the French doors in the kitchen were initially installed slightly too deep into the aperture so the doors didn’t quite open fully back. The next day we mentioned this to the fitters, and without question or any fuss, they took it out and refitted it perfectly. We are really happy with everything and would definitely use Lifestyle again in the future, without even bothering to get quotes from other companies.

I’ve just had all my windows and doors replaced including changing a patio door to a bifold. From my first visit to the showroom where Damian helped me to select the products that satisfied my exacting standards through to Chris and Glynne who delivered the project to agreed timescales every aspect of the installation has been first class. I can not recommend Lifestyle Windows enough!

This is the 2nd time we have used Lifestyle windows. Very happy with all aspects from arranging the surveyor to the completed work. We had a upstairs bay window fitted. It was fitted as requested with all the openings in the right place and to schedule and to quote. Workmanship and quality of windows excellent. Friendly professional team that work well together to provide you with what you need. Would highly recommend.

I saw Lifestyle online and made an initial enquiry before making an appointment with Damian who discussed the options available. Explaining the product of an Icotherm insulated conservatory roof, and was able to advise/explain the benefits. The process was very smooth from initial planning, and communication from Chris and Damian was excellent from start to finish. I am very happy with how the conservatory looks, a definite improvement from the original polycarbonate roof. The two fitters that came to remove the old and fit the new frames and roof were extremely professional and polite explaining what would be carried out each day and answering questions or comments I had. When the work was competed each day the area was left tidy, and comments from my next door neighbour was she never knew they were there. I would definitely use Lifestyle again, 100%.

Chris and his whole team were a joy to work with from start to finish in replacing over 18+ windows and doors on our home. There was no hard selling or pushy salesman approach, but a common sense approach on what options we had for the right price. The windows and doors look fantastic on our 25 yr old house and they really do look very modern but suited. As for the installation team of 2, yes just two, the father\son combo were pure class to work with - we are still in shock that we will not need to do any plastering and painting since the windows/doors have been replaced - really a professional finish. The team worked with us, cleaned up behind and ensured any questions or concerns addressed. Chris followed up post-installation to ensure even the smallest concerns (bit of silicon) was addressed. In these modern times its refreshing to find tradesmen who actually see you as a person and not just number\payment. A credit in the field and we will not hesitate to use again or recommend to others.

The door and service provided by Lifestyle has been brilliant. From start to finish all staff have been very friendly and helpful. The showroom has everything you need to see to make your decision, the staff provide a lot of knowledge and their own recommendations to help out where needed. Compared to other companies we looked at they provided a very competitive price, a straightforward ordering process and an overall better service. Honestly the Service from Lifestyle windows was great. From their first response to my query to the completion of the job. Options were offered to meet my needs, the time lines of dates for measuring to installing was really good. Much shorter than I expected. The whole team at lifestyle have been great, from advising on what does and doesn't look and work well for what we wanted to achieve. The black ash windows and doors look fantastic, all our neighbours have stopped and commented at how great they look. Right from the first phone call and subsequent visit to the showroom in Ilkeston, the Lifestyle team have been fantastic. We had great advice on window and door choices, especially as our design and building needs were quite bespoke and challenging. We chose Lifestyle over competitors as the windows and doors were great quality and looked fantastic (Origin Aluminum Agate Grey). They were both competitive on pricing, but more importantly, we had a ‘no pressure sales approach’ and completely trusted them. Site surveys and the fitting dates were agreed and communication throughout was great. After fitting, a couple of minor issues were resolved quickly and the team went over and above to ensure we were happy. We are over the moon with the results - 15 windows, front door, back door and large sliding patio doors.
