Linwood have recently replaced windows and a front door to the house and fitted a solid roof on the conservatory. Right from the initial contact and throughout the job they were helpful and accommodating, wanting to ensure that we, as customers, were happy with their work. Everything was completed to an excellent standard and we are very happy with the result and the care they took of our property and we would definately recommend them. A special mention to Jack for the attention he gave to ensure we were happy with the work, and to Mark for his reasurance to any questions, as well as kindly fixing an issue with an existing window in the conservatory.

My old front doorstep was tiled and, as the tiles went under the front door, this has made it difficult to change the step in previous years. I enquired to Linwood via email initially because I’d had another door company refuse to do the doorstep, and I didn’t want two companies involved in case of issues. Linwood confirmed from my photos that they’d be able to do both door and doorstep. Jack was very helpful and prompt in his responses. I visited the showroom to see the colour and glass in person. The door arrived as expected, installation date booked in, and the two installers arrived on time as expected. The doorstep tiling & front door install are both complete and, along with a later change of colour to the brickwork, the whole front of the house has been transformed.

We had 4 windows and 1 door replaced. The service was excellent from start to finish. The day they fitted them the fitters explained what they were going to do at the start then at the end they explained how the windows worked and how the trickle vents worked and how the locked open works. They asked me to try the door as closes as the pressure is adjustable so that it wasn't too hard to close. The whole experience was brilliant beginning to end.

We had a conservatory built. From start to finish the workmen were hard working and pleasant tidying up along the way. Steve the sales rep was excellent and the office staff were lovely to deal with. We are so happy with our conservatory and are enjoying the extra space in our home.

Linwood replaced our old patio door. They suggested 2 possible options for the layout, gave us the prices and advantages and disadvantages of each one. There was no pressure to decide quickly. Once the new unit had been manufactured Linwood called us to arrange a date for the work. They came promptly, did a good job, and left our house and garden tidy. We are very happy with the new door.

We used Linwood to replace our roof-line and guttering, for a large replacement window unit and for a new front door (with frame). Every step of the way they were professional, knowledgeable and polite (no hard sell, always happy to help). Plenty of choice and useful advice when deciding what we wanted to do (clearly very experienced and had customer’s interests at heart). The jobs were carried out efficiently, tidily and to a very high standard. Very happy with the finished product.

We had two windows each of which had two panes in which the double glazing sealed units had lost their seal. We had three quotes and opted to go with Linwood which was competitive and very professional to deal with. Communication was good, they came when agreed and the work looks fine, including making good the plaster work above one section where the existing frame was embedded into the plaster work (from the original fitting by another trader many years ago). The man who fitted the the units called me up to show me some damage to the frame which he said was preexisting as it appeared dirty, though it would have been more reassuring for the damage to have been pointed out before the old unit was removed. I am quite happy to recommend this company.

Great service overall, good value for money, quality Swish frames (very nice), from ordering to installation was very quick (however only two windows so done between jobs). No nonsense salesman with a "take it or leave it" quote. Installers were friendly, patient and helpful with minimal mess. I will use again definitely.
