Linwood North West Limited

Linwood replaced our old patio door. They suggested 2 possible options for the layout, gave us the prices and advantages and disadvantages of each one. There was no pressure to decide quickly. Once the new unit had been manufactured Linwood called us to arrange a date for the work. They came promptly, did a good job, and left our house and garden tidy. We are very happy with the new door.

We were very happy with the whole process. Competitive price with a no-pressure sales approach and very accommodating to our wishes. The installation was smooth and efficient and the whole team were a pleasure to work with. The work was done to a high standard and I have no hesitation in recommending Linwood.

Had 3 windows replaced and advice on other windows. Quote not the cheapest but liked the way salesman listened to my queries and answered them well, giving my options and letting me decide. (Others had just suggested what THEY wanted!) On the day, arrived on time, worked solidly and finished as expected. Tidied up well. Would use again.

We used Linwood to replace our roof-line and guttering, for a large replacement window unit and for a new front door (with frame). Every step of the way they were professional, knowledgeable and polite (no hard sell, always happy to help). Plenty of choice and useful advice when deciding what we wanted to do (clearly very experienced and had customer’s interests at heart). The jobs were carried out efficiently, tidily and to a very high standard. Very happy with the finished product.

We had two windows each of which had two panes in which the double glazing sealed units had lost their seal. We had three quotes and opted to go with Linwood which was competitive and very professional to deal with. Communication was good, they came when agreed and the work looks fine, including making good the plaster work above one section where the existing frame was embedded into the plaster work (from the original fitting by another trader many years ago). The man who fitted the the units called me up to show me some damage to the frame which he said was preexisting as it appeared dirty, though it would have been more reassuring for the damage to have been pointed out before the old unit was removed. I am quite happy to recommend this company.

I have used Linwood over a number of years to replace all the windows in the house and now the garage. They have also replaced the soffits, fascia panels and cladding. Excellent company and excellent professional workmanship. I would recommend this company to anybody living in the North West.

Lindop replaced a bedroom window which they installed some 20+ years ago and the workmanship improves as the years roll by. From a no nonsense non-obligatory sales quote through to survey and on to final installation the Lindop team have maintained their professional level of workmanship. We have no hesitation in recommending Lindops.

Great service overall, good value for money, quality Swish frames (very nice), from ordering to installation was very quick (however only two windows so done between jobs). No nonsense salesman with a "take it or leave it" quote. Installers were friendly, patient and helpful with minimal mess. I will use again definitely.

We had front door, back door & kitchen window replaced. Very pleased with the standard of service we received, from the initial meeting through to the end. There were 1 or 2 very minor issues that were rectified within days. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Chose Linwood as they were a Trusted Trader. For me customer service is as important as the product. The product is good but I feel the customer service was woeful, failing to attend when promised and little interest in the complaints about damage caused and part repaired. They removed tiles from my wall, broke one and then put them back ( including the smashed one). They used window sealant on top of the old mortar so we have a disgraceful mess of uneven tiles, including a broken one protruding from the wall. The response from the site inspector was 'we are not obliged to put them back' . That is nonsensical. If they don't put them back then why cobble them together and put them back? It's a complete mess. Linwood have done nothing to rectify the mess. They also have failed to tidy up other areas and the door numbers and security chain were posted through my new front door..... Clearly I am expected to finish the job myself. This company have poor customer service and lack finesse with the finishing of the fitting and for that reason I would urge caution.

Did a great job on the Windows, difficult job for them, but sorted out issues matching coloured glass to existing Windows, going the extra distance for me. Only negative was accidental creation of excessive dust. I would certainly recommend.
