We had a lightening strike down our aerial, which blew the signal booster box and consequently affected the TV and the killed the Apple box. I phoned Ben and he arranged to buy a new signal booster and come round the next day at a time when I was at home. He came and installed the new booster box, checking that the TV worked again. He tried to revive the Apple box, but had to recommend that we get a new one. He was friendly and worked quickly and well. He advised that we buy new surge protected extension leads to replace the ones which had been affected by the strike, for our safety. I will contact him if I need an electrician again.

We employed Ben to fit a ceiling light and he went out of his way to firstly try and repair for us the old light fitting which we would like to have retained. However, it was not possible to repair and therefore he fitted the new ceiling light for us and he kept to his quote that he had provided prior to his visit. He was extremely competent and efficient in his work and was very polite and helpful. We will definitely use him again.

Emergency call out Saturday evening

A double surface mounted plug socket got accidentally broken at my mother in laws home on a Saturday. It ended up hanging off the skirting board with live wires exposed, obviously in a dangerous condition. It is a very much needed socket and carers who look after my mother in law four times a day every day come close to it when addressing her care needs. I called Ben at about 7pm and when I explained the situation Ben offered to go and replace the socket and said he would be at the property at 8pm. He turned up promptly as per his promise and replaced the socket. Ben was friendly helpful and polite. His charge was reasonable considering it was a Saturday evening. We would definitely call Ben again for any electrical work.
