They came out to fit my new lock the same day I called. Quote was cheaper than others I received and they turned up on time and did a great job. Happy to recommend.

George of "Lock around the Clock" visited our house today to change the mortice lock on our front door and see what could be done about a problem we had with the lock on a double glazed window in our bedroom. He arrived at the agreed time and was very personable. He looked at the mortice lock and found that it was not the lock that was faulty but the key had been slightly damaged. As a result, he did not change the lock but I need to buy a new key! With regards to the bedroom window, he found that the handle was not working properly, so changed that. This came with a new lock, of course. George was very professional and extremely efficient.

Very impressed with service provided by George. I had a door which would not lock and he arranged a very quick appointment, for which he turned up promptly. I was given a time slot in which they would arrive, I then received a phone call stating they would be with me in 25 minutes. They were to replace or add new locks in 3 places. Two were straight forward but one was posing a problem. After discussion and looking at other neighbours it was resolved. They were very pleasant and cleared up afterwards. The lock on my conservatory PVC door would not work. I obtained Lock around the Clock's telephone number from the Trust a Trader leaflet. Explained the problem; they gave me an estimated price and fortunately, they were able to come out the same day - essential as it was an external door. They rang me half an hour before they arrived giving me an ETA. Father and Son came and repaired my door lock efficiently. No mess. Hopefully, nothing will go wrong with their work, but I feel confident that I could ring them and ask them to rectify it. Very pleased with them and would recommend them to friends and family.

Our UPVC door had become stuck and even though the key would turn, the door wouldn't open. I called Chris at around 10am and he was with us early afternoon with a colleague. Both of the guys were polite and quickly managed to locate the problem, and explained to me in simple terms what the issue was. I wanted to get my front door latch replaced and emailed Chris some photos. He gave me a verbal quote that was reasonable, and he came out the following morning to do the work (it wasn't urgent). The work was done quickly and professionally, and they cleaned up afterwards. Chris took the time to explain how to use the new lock, and to check that I was able to use it OK. This is the second time that I've used Lock Around The Clock, and I would be happy to do so again in the future.

Had problems with front door (composite) jamming on occasion. Tried silicone spray without success. Saw advert in local Living magazine for Lock Around the Clock based in Hemel so rang Chris who came shortly after. He refixed bottom hook to mechanism which had become detatched and tightened screws. I called this trader to fix the lock on my front door of my new house and change the door handle. Happening to be round the corner on another job he was able to come within 20 minutes of the call (I hadn't been expecting anything to happen till next week as it wasn't an emergency.) Chris and his colleague were very polite, courteous, profesional and knowledgeable. He didn't try to get me to pay for an expensive lock change - he was able to tell quickly that all that needed doing was to re-align the existing lock, and at my request he changed the door handles so that the opening/closing process was easier. Had a problem with the lock on the front. This had been fixed twice before by other locksmiths, which on one occasion cost a small fortune! He needlessly change parts that were not necessary. Inspected the lock and confirmed that it would need to be replaced provided a cost estimate and completed the job of replacing the lock on a UPVC front door within 25 minutes. Called Chris 10AM and he was here by 1PM. I thought that was fast considering it wasn’t an emergency job. He was really friendly and knocked the job out in no time. Lock Around the Clock were contacted Thursday pm and arrived on time Friday am. Both locksmiths were neat, tidy and friendly. They identified a problem with a door lock gearbox, fitted another they had on their van, made a few adjustments to the door to improve its closing and had gone within the hour after cleaning everything they had touched. Their charge was reasonable. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Sunday 9:45am we’re stuck the front door would not unlock. We couldn’t leave and if we did would we get back in? Phoned Chris at ‘Lock around the clock’! Long story short, he gave us an estimated price, arrived within half an hour, job done! I Asked if he’d just look at the back door with a view to returning at a later date Chris took a look and resolved that issue too. Obviously a second visit would be another call out charge. He was efficient, polite and I’ve put him on my list of phone contacts, will definitely recommend him! Great guy!

My door had got out of alignment with the lock, so it was getting harder to secure. The guys turned up within the time window they gave me (and called to let me know when they were 30 minutes away). Friendly pair, who fixed the problem quickly, completely, and cleaned up before they left. Excellent service.

Checked and double-checked that lock was working properly and asked me to also check that I could lock and unlock the door. Very helpful and explained exactly what was being done. Looking for a reputable local company to use I called Lock around the Clock to get a faulty door lock replaced. A convenient time was booked for their visit and they phoned 30 minutes in advance of arrival. All very professional, with the basic labour rate quoted upfront. The problem with the door was quickly diagnosed and the lock mechanism replaced. Before leaving they cleaned the area where they had been working. Highly recommended.

I was stuck with a badly cut new key in the lock. It wouldn't turn the lock and it wouldn't come out. The locksmith turned up quickly and professionally sorted the problem in an efficient and friendly manner.

I door knob had come apart and it was very important that it was mended as it matched other knobs in the room. I was not sure it could be mended but as I had used "Lock around the Clock" before I telephoned them yesterday. Very prompt service today having told me that they would call between 10am and 12 midday, they telephoned to say when they would be arriving. They immediately started the job and were able to mend the knob. They were very efficient and at a reasonable price. 10 out of 10.

When I called to discuss the problem, I was told what the likely repair would be and given estimates, depending on what needed to be done. I was told I would be given a call approximately thirty minutes before they were due which they did. The lock needed replacing and I was given different options which were explained clearly. The work was done quickly. They were very polite and friendly. The cost was very close to what had been quoted.
