Locksmith Services is a family business established in 2009, based in Harpenden and covering Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire. We're a father and son team, Larry started locksmithing in 2005 and Dean his son started in 2015 after becoming a qualified carpenter.
Locksmith Services are open 24/7 for emergencies and aim to get to you within 30 minutes of your call where possible. We can supply and fit door and window locks to British standard and insurance requirements.
If you need a locksmith in Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire because you want your locks upgraded for extra security, locks changed or repaired then at Locksmiths Services we have the experience, expertise and the equipment that the job requires.
We do not charge a call-out fee or charge hourly. We charge a set labour fee plus the cost of any parts that may be required.

Night-latch on front door failed so not able to open. Made contact via e-mail over the weekend and was happy to wait until the Monday as not an emergency. Had a call from Dean on the Monday morning who visited that afternoon, took the old latch off and replaced it with a new one. Very efficient, courteous and professional.

We called out Larry Locksmith a week ago to fix a jammed internal lock between the house and our garage. Rapid response and speedily sorted. During the past ten years, we have needed Larry’s services three times, and on every occasion, Larry or Dean has been able to sort out the issue immediately or advise a solution. The end bits of a key broke off in my front door deadbolt lock and could not be accessed, so I called Locksmiths Services and Dean was here in under an hour; retrieved the broken section and moved the doorjamb part of the lock so the lock caught better and works a lot easier.
