Locksmith Services is a family business established in 2009, based in Harpenden and covering Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire. We're a father and son team, Larry started locksmithing in 2005 and Dean his son started in 2015 after becoming a qualified carpenter.

Locksmith Services are open 24/7 for emergencies and aim to get to you within 30 minutes of your call where possible. We can supply and fit door and window locks to British standard and insurance requirements.

If you need a locksmith in Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire because you want your locks upgraded for extra security, locks changed or repaired then at Locksmiths Services we have the experience, expertise and the equipment that the job requires.

We do not charge a call-out fee or charge hourly. We charge a set labour fee plus the cost of any parts that may be required.

We are Hertfordshire Trading Standards Approved & Which? Trusted Traders since 2014.

My patio door jammed shut and I could not gain access to my house. I felt very vulnerable as it was late at night fortunately a neighbour helped me and recommended this company and I was very impressed with the service Also I was only charged what they originally quoted very helpful genuine and knowledgeable

The lock on my up and over garage door was failing. Urgent as no other door for garage access. Larry and Dean were excellent. Rapid visit to assess the problem. Old lock, so direct replacement not available. Quickly obtained a range of parts that provided a perfect replacement and now working as good as new. I definitely recommend them.

Larry managed to open a lock that had jammed. His response to our call was swift and he was friendly and helpful. He had a can-do approach and rapidly achieved the desired result, unlocking the door, removing and replacing the broken part without causing damage, and at a reasonable price. We would thoroughly recommend him.

The end result was excellent - his craftsmanship was first class, his manner was respectful and he cleared up well. I would highly recommend him.
