About

Locksmith Services is a family business established in 2009, based in Harpenden and covering Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire. We're a father and son team, Larry started locksmithing in 2005 and Dean his son started in 2015 after becoming a qualified carpenter.

Locksmith Services are open 24/7 for emergencies and aim to get to you within 30 minutes of your call where possible. We can supply and fit door and window locks to British standard and insurance requirements.

If you need a locksmith in Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire because you want your locks upgraded for extra security, locks changed or repaired then at Locksmiths Services we have the experience, expertise and the equipment that the job requires.

We do not charge a call-out fee or charge hourly. We charge a set labour fee plus the cost of any parts that may be required.

Our UPVC door lock was jammed. Locksmith Services came out next day as requested. Really friendly guy, gave good advice. Fitted new lock very quickly and even adjusted door for us as it had dropped. Such a great service that we asked him to replace our garage door lock at the same time as we'd lost the keys. Again, very quick, no mess. Great price at the end. Highly recommend.

I am very please with the fix on my back door lock, a nice courteous young man arrived quickly, found the fault straight away, gave me advice on how to reduce the chances of happening again. My back door now locks better than it has done in ages

Satisfied with the work done. I was told the gear box has broken which was replaced. Charge was reasonable though I did not compare the market. Pleasant people who were recommended by a neighbour.

Dean was very prompt and carried out the jobs required following a house move with the minimum of fuss. He was also able to sort out a couple of other minor issues saving me time. The second time we have used this company and would do so again as well as recommend to others.

Our family have used Locksmith Services several times over the years and they always provide a really excellent service, dealing with broken locks/keys, poor alignment or just changing old locks when needed. One of my locks had begun to be temperamental so I contacted Larry - his son Dean came the same day, checked it over and fitted a new lock immediately. He did a very neat job and was able to provide a lock with 6 keys which means I don’t have to get more cut myself. It works perfectly and is of high quality.
