About

Locksmith Services is a family business established in 2009, based in Harpenden and covering Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire. We're a father and son team, Larry started locksmithing in 2005 and Dean his son started in 2015 after becoming a qualified carpenter.

Locksmith Services are open 24/7 for emergencies and aim to get to you within 30 minutes of your call where possible. We can supply and fit door and window locks to British standard and insurance requirements.

If you need a locksmith in Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire because you want your locks upgraded for extra security, locks changed or repaired then at Locksmiths Services we have the experience, expertise and the equipment that the job requires.

We do not charge a call-out fee or charge hourly. We charge a set labour fee plus the cost of any parts that may be required.

We are Hertfordshire Trading Standards Approved & Which? Trusted Traders since 2014.

After waiting for a local trader to come to replace our front door handle, and they failed to show up or call (for the 2nd time), I called Larry who returned my call only 3 minutes later. He arrived promptly, did the job quickly and efficiently at a very good price and engaged cheerfully with my young sons. I phoned this company as my key had broken in the lock to my garage and I could not get my car out. I explained that I needed to take my son to hospital for an appointment, and within 1/2 an hour, they came to me and the job was done so well. No fuss, just a good job. Excellent!
