Locksmith Services is a family business established in 2009, based in Harpenden and covering Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire. We're a father and son team, Larry started locksmithing in 2005 and Dean his son started in 2015 after becoming a qualified carpenter.

Locksmith Services are open 24/7 for emergencies and aim to get to you within 30 minutes of your call where possible. We can supply and fit door and window locks to British standard and insurance requirements.

If you need a locksmith in Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire because you want your locks upgraded for extra security, locks changed or repaired then at Locksmiths Services we have the experience, expertise and the equipment that the job requires.

We do not charge a call-out fee or charge hourly. We charge a set labour fee plus the cost of any parts that may be required.

Dean was very prompt and carried out the jobs required following a house move with the minimum of fuss. He was also able to sort out a couple of other minor issues saving me time. The second time we have used this company and would do so again as well as recommend to others.

Our family have used Locksmith Services several times over the years and they always provide a really excellent service, dealing with broken locks/keys, poor alignment or just changing old locks when needed. They are very reliable in my mind, and care about getting the job done properly, quickly and efficiently. I wish everyone was a good as them.

One of my locks had begun to be temperamental so I contacted Larry - his son Dean came the same day, checked it over and fitted a new lock immediately. He did a very neat job and was able to provide a lock with 6 keys which means I don’t have to get more cut myself. It works perfectly and is of high quality.

The door key broke in the lock and it quickly became apparent that I needed a professional! After a quick search of local companies I called Locksmith Services Ltd. I was so glad I did!! Larry appeared within the hour, fixed the problem and gave me some useful tips and advice to prevent anything similar happening. Very competitively priced too! Would highly recommend

Responded really quickly to our cry for help. Good communication and quick response. Our door handle had fallen apart and we were unable to open the door from the inside. He suggested I send photos to help him understand the problem. He turned up at the agreed time and fixed the door then and there, using stock from his van. Very courteous and friendly. Explained the problem really clearly and what he had done to fix it.

These guys are excellent. Key broke in my lock and these guys came quickly and dealt with the issue quickly. There were polite, friendly and professional. And they quoted a fair price. I would certainly use them again and recommend them.

Called this company to fix a PVC outside rear door whose lock had given up the ghost and was stuck, apparently permanently, in the locked position. They turned up promptly at the time arranged. The problem was quickly diagnosed and I was given options for various remedial actions. The technician was very helpful and explained why and what had to be done. He was also friendly and cleaned up after the work, all of which was done inside an hour. I can recommend this company highly.
