About

Locksmith Services is a family business established in 2009, based in Harpenden and covering Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire. We're a father and son team, Larry started locksmithing in 2005 and Dean his son started in 2015 after becoming a qualified carpenter.

Locksmith Services are open 24/7 for emergencies and aim to get to you within 30 minutes of your call where possible. We can supply and fit door and window locks to British standard and insurance requirements.

If you need a locksmith in Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire because you want your locks upgraded for extra security, locks changed or repaired then at Locksmiths Services we have the experience, expertise and the equipment that the job requires.

We do not charge a call-out fee or charge hourly. We charge a set labour fee plus the cost of any parts that may be required.

We are Hertfordshire Trading Standards Approved & Which? Trusted Traders since 2014.

Called Larry for issue with front door latch and he came to our rescue the same day and Dean followed up for part 2 later that day. Great team and impressive knowledge and advice. Something which could have been a headache for us was resolved quickly and expertly by them. Great communication and follow through of actions. Thank you both so much.

Dean was excellent. He arrived quickly to fix a lock on bi-fold doors. Offered advice on the parts needed and completed the job promptly and efficiently and when he said he would. I can’t recommend Locksmith Services Ltd highly enough.

We called out Larry Locksmith a week ago to fix a jammed internal lock between the house and our garage. Rapid response and speedily sorted. During the past ten years, we have needed Larry’s services three times, and on every occasion, Larry or Dean has been able to sort out the issue immediately or advise a solution. A couple of days ago, I recommended Larry to a close friend to fix a front door lock problem. I’ve just heard that my friend was delighted with the service from Larry Locksmith.
