I had two loft ladders installed by East Anglian Loft Ladders. From the first phone call to the completion of work they were excellent. Both ladders (one hybrid, one wooden) are excellent quality and the installation was very neatly and efficiently done, all at a very reasonable, competitve rate. I would, without hesitation, recommend this company. Five stars!

We are very pleased with our new loft ladder and will make trips into the loft a lot safer than hauling ourselves up from a ladder. I don’t know why we didn’t do this sooner. The initial survey and quote were done efficiently and at the appointed time. Equally the fitters turned up on time and worked fast and efficiently to complete the job. Everything was done to our satisfaction and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for any loft work.

The team arrived and work very professionally, cleaned up and then explained everything they did. The loft is very neat and tidy now with new insulation and partially boarded. The hatch they had to enlarge for ladder was very neatly cut and finished off. Everything from the first call, survey and finishing was spot on. No problem with using again.

We had a bespoke loft hatch fitted and it was not a totally straightforward job. Mark spent some time measuring and considering the best way of fitting the hatch in an uneven ceiling and with a new frame. On the day the work was completed very satisfactorily with minimum disruption and the old ladder fitted to the new hatch as well. The admin was also very efficient and prompt.

From 1st contact, all professionally carried out and in a friendly, not pushy way. Survey was carried out within a few days of contact and was very thorough. Quote provided on site gave a variety of options to choose from, with some very good advice from Mark. Fitting quickly scheduled to meet our requirements (1.5 days to complete). David arrived promptly. Very courteous on arrival and brought in an extra fitter (total of 3) to get job finished in a day. Work was exemplary throughout. No disruption and minimal breaks meant they finished by 4:30. Full 2nd layer of loft insulation, 132 sqft of loft boarding on track system, wooden loft ladder with additional step into loft, relocation/extension of loft hatch (and moved ceiling light), loft grab rail, 3 part wooden ladder with handrail, and upgraded LED batten light - all fitted as per quote. Workmanship (carpentry skills) exceptional and very neat finish. Would not know they had been and loft hatch looked like it had always been there. Full demonstration prior to leaving. I was recommended EA Loft Ladders by a neighbour who had had his loft partially boarded and a drop-down ladder fitted. I engaged EA Loft Ladders to board the entirety of my loft, install some lighting, increase the size of the loft hatch and install a drop-down ladder. When they arrived to quote, they gave me several options to achieve my desired outcome and highlighted the pros and cons of each. The team were incredibly efficient, managing to complete the entirety of the work in one full working day rather than the 1.5-2 working days quoted. They arrived early and stayed after 5 to get the job done rather than stretching the job out over 2 days which meant I was bound to the house far less than I had initially anticipated. The team were incredibly friendly and professional. They made sure I knew how to operate the newly installed latch and ladder before leaving site and stressed that if there were any issues arising post installation that I was to let them know so they could return to fix. The team were also incredibly fastidious in cleaning up after the work. There was absolutely no evidence that they had been in which is more than I could expect from the average building contractor! Overall I would highly recommend to anyone considering having work done to their loft.

I found East Anglian Loft Ladders by chance and what a lucky one it was! From the first phone call I found them to be very friendly, efficient and reliable. Mark was on time for the appointment to survey what needed to be done, he did not rush and he explained everything he was proposing to do. The work, taking three days and carried out by David and Laura, started and finished on time. It involved raising the joists to increase the insulation and then fully boarding over the loft space and replacing the loft hatch with an insulated one, making sure the existing loft ladder still functioned. Everything was left clean and tidy at the end of each day. The standard of work was excellent and the Saxon Family provided excellent service. One very satisfied customer! Really helpful initial visit - options and recommended solution clearly explained. From start to finish everyone was friendly, helpful and professional. Every aspect of the work was completed to a very high standard. The installation team were competent and hardworking. A couple of unexpected technical hitches were expertly dealt with. Once the installation was completed the house was left clean and tidy and they made sure that we understood how the loft ladder worked. Can't recommend the company highly enough. Brilliant.

Having talked about improving the access to our loft for several years, East Anglian Loft Ladders were the answer to our prayers. From my first email enquiry to their final email confirming that payment had been received, everyone at the company was a pleasure to deal with – both pleasant and efficient. The quotation arrived promptly after Mark's first visit and the cost seemed reasonable. On the appointed day, the team arrived bang on time and cleaned up everything very thoroughly afterwards. The work was completed in one day with minimal disruption. We are thrilled with the new ladder, enlarged access, new light and improved boarding. The video Laura sent us was a great reminder of how best to use the ladder. I wish all the building companies I have to deal with were as pleasant and professional as this.

Amazing company to deal with from the initial survey and detailed quote through to installation. I missed the deadline to get 10% off due to a minor operation but they honoured the discount, that’s incredible customer service. The fitters were very professional, explaining what they would do, the noise involved (as needed a larger hatch cutting) and how the finished works would look. I can honestly say in this day and age when it’s hard to find truly professional tradespeople, the guys from East Anglian Loft Ladders went above and beyond my expectations and even cleaned up after they had finished. I 100% recommend you call them if considering doing any works to your loft.

Work done: Additional loft insulation to 270mm, install risers and part board. We can’t speak highly enough of East Anglian Loft Ladders. They are the first company we have felt completely happy with in all aspects of having a job done in the house. All stages of the work were carried out in a truly professional manner. We needed to have three lofts reinsulated to modern standards and flooring installed above the insulation in two of them. I chose to get a quote from East Anglian Loft Ladders Ltd because of the excellent reviews on Which Trusted Traders. Having met the surveyor and discussed our requirements I was very impressed. His suggestions for the installation were constructive and he displayed an in depth knowledge of the energy conservation field. The quote was received promptly and the price was acceptable. The installation team was first class in every way. The work was completed on time and to a high standard. They were happy to answer our questions. The old insulation was removed without creating a mess in the house and great care was taken to clean up both during the installation and after completion. Our experience as customers was exemplary. The work was completed for the quoted price in two days as we had been told it would. We will receive an official energy performance certificate from the appropriate body. Photographs were taken of the work to enable the certification. Certification of energy performance is becoming increasingly important in house sales/purchases.

From first visit to give quotation arranging installation and carrying out installation could not have been more efficient all personnel I spoke to whether on the phone or face to face was always helpful polite and professional. The installation was excellent very professionally carried out protected with dust sheets from street door to loft entrance explain workings on completion spotless clean every were they had work. Our house is around 20 years old so we were concerned regarding the depth and state of the insulation in the loft. Also, we had noticed some condensation dripping from the black roof lining during cold spells in the winter. We asked Anglian Roof Ladders to inspect the loft, make recommendations and provide a quotation. They confirmed the insulation was fine but needed relaying and suggested installing boarding down the centre of the loft with a new light. Vents were also proposed to aid air flow. We agreed to the work at a cost of £1500. The hardest part for us was clearing our suitcases and detritus prior to the work. The work was completed by two very competent and friendly workers in one day. A great job and we now have a loft we can easily access and use for storage.

We needed a larger loft hatch and a new loft ladder for our 1930’s house. We received a comprehensive visit where lots of questions were asked and a detailed explanation of what was available to us was given. Having made a decision, the work was promptly booked and carried out by a great 2 person team. They worked efficiently, and tidily and the end result is fabulous. They also took the time to ensure we knew how to open/close the new hatch/ladder and watched while we tried it to make sure we felt comfortable. All in all, great communication, very professional and would not hesitate to recommend.

We’ve used this loft company twice now, and both experiences have been fantastic. The first job was to fit a new loft ladder and hatch, and the second was to clear and board out the loft, replacing the insulation. In both instances, the quality of workmanship was outstanding. Excellent service and reasonably priced. They had to carry out the work in two visits because other contractors had to install an air handling unit in the loft. Not a problem for the guys at Loft Ease. Neat and tidy and they came when they said they would including installing made a purpose made hatch at the end. And they installed the old loft ladder in another loft.

East Anglian Loft Ladders boarded out my loft space (including raising joists above insulation), installed a loft ladder and increased the size of the hatch. We couldn't be happier with the work completed, the friendly team worked hard and carried out the work above and beyond our expectations. We are so pleased with the extra storage space it's given us and are very happy we chose this company to do it.

Two young pleasant men arrived on time and commenced work immediately they were quick and clean and completed the installation well within the suggested time frame. On completion I was shown how to use the ladder. Complete satisfaction.
