The team arrived and work very professionally, cleaned up and then explained everything they did. The loft is very neat and tidy now with new insulation and partially boarded. The hatch they had to enlarge for ladder was very neatly cut and finished off. Everything from the first call, survey and finishing was spot on. No problem with using again.

We had a bespoke loft hatch fitted and it was not a totally straightforward job. Mark spent some time measuring and considering the best way of fitting the hatch in an uneven ceiling and with a new frame. On the day the work was completed very satisfactorily with minimum disruption and the old ladder fitted to the new hatch as well. The admin was also very efficient and prompt.

From 1st contact, all professionally carried out and in a friendly, not pushy way. Survey was carried out within a few days of contact and was very thorough. Quote provided on site gave a variety of options to choose from, with some very good advice from Mark. Fitting quickly scheduled to meet our requirements (1.5 days to complete). David arrived promptly. Very courteous on arrival and brought in an extra fitter (total of 3) to get job finished in a day. Work was exemplary throughout. No disruption and minimal breaks meant they finished by 4:30. Full 2nd layer of loft insulation, 132 sqft of loft boarding on track system, wooden loft ladder with additional step into loft, relocation/extension of loft hatch (and moved ceiling light), loft grab rail, 3 part wooden ladder with handrail, and upgraded LED batten light - all fitted as per quote. Workmanship (carpentry skills) exceptional and very neat finish. Would not know they had been and loft hatch looked like it had always been there. Full demonstration prior to leaving. Having requested quotes from three companies, one of whom never provided a quote and one who did not get to see us on the day of our survey, and thus could only quote over the phone, we were delighted with the efficient and thoughtful survey offered by East Anglian Loft Ladders. They clarified all our options for us, providing excellent information, including videos so we could see how different options would work. We were even more impressed that they were able to complete the work within a week of quoting for it. Our new hatch and ladder were installed to a very high standard and the standard of customer care was equally excellent. The polite and friendly manner of the two members of the family firm who carried out the work was as good as any offered by craftspeople who have carried out work for us over the years. Great reliable family business. Had a bigger loft hatch fitted with a ladder over a tricky small space over a bath! Great advice from Mark on the initial visit and then the installation was carried out by David and Jason. So professional and polite. I was expecting to have to fill in the plaster around the new hatch but they did everything! So tidy in their work, dust mats used and a very thorough hoovering. Place was spotless and it’s as though the new loft hatch was always there. Outcome is we have a far more accessible loft with a reliable ladder coming down from the hatch. Great work - thank you! It was a very reasonable quote and we were given a number of options, thoroughly explained. Work was booked in and completed quickly, efficiently and to a great standard. Even hoovered after! Highly recommend this friendly family run business.

We had East Anglian Loft Ladders install some insulation in our loft and replace the floor boarding. They arrived on time and the work was completed in only a few hours. They did an excellent job, were friendly and informative, and they cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. We would recommend this company to anyone.

Had a loft ladder installed 3-4-23. Received a phone call prior to arrival saying when they would be here and another to say they had arrived(bang on time). Explained exactly what they were going to do, which included removing original loft hatch and increasing size to fit in new hatch, which contained the fixed ladder. They then covered the whole area with dust sheets before starting. Cracked on with the work to a high standard and then explained how it all worked.(very easy but glad they showed us). On completion hoovered all around and left in very tidy order. Would not hesitate to recommend them. Very nice people

We had a loft ladder replaced and from the first phone call to the office to enquire, to the final follow up call on the day to check that we were happy, the knowledge and service has been excellent. The initial visit highlighted the level of experience and knowledge and he could see immediately how to remediate the issues we had with our old ladder. The quotation came quickly and the work was booked in within a couple of weeks. The work within the house was done efficiently and they tided up extremely well. Arrived with covers for all areas to be walked on, and cleaned up afterwards. Friendly local company responded quickly to enquiry, and efficiently replaced old loft hatch, all sorted in a week.

We had extra insulation. boarding, ladder, and lights fitted. The guys came and got on with the work as promised and left us with a loft that we can now use for storage as we wanted. Happy to recommend them or use them again. Only downside was that ladder was not quite as solid when raised or lowered as I'd have liked, but is is secure to use.
