I obtained prices from two firms, although a higher quote I accepted the LBSW offer because of neighbour's recommendation, a full and clear specification and confidence in the representative who clearly had practical knowledge of the work. A standby offer gave a possible earlier installation start date and a cost saving, it could have meant a short notice period but in the event we were given plenty of time. Preparation of the areas of work and solving of possible problems were agreed in a practical, helpful way and well in advance. A month's notice for start of the installation, an installation schedule, the names and contact numbers of the 3 installers and a provisional 3 day period for the work was given. All were carried out as stated. The installation of the 12 windows was amazing, carried out with speed, energy, care and good humour. What could have been a stressful project was carried out smoothly from start to finish with efficiency, sympathy and good communication throughout. The whole job was completed to the agreed schedule and budget.

Had a couple of beautiful new sash windows installed in the summer of 2024 by London Box Sash Windows Ltd. At the time, we were (and still are delighted with their work. When we needed a new made-to-measure balcony door in June 2025, for obvious reasons, London Box Sash Windows Ltd was our first port of call. We gathered a couple of quotes from specialised door installation companies, but found that the price difference was marginal compared with what London Box Sash Windows Ltd quoted us. So we went with ‘the devil we knew’ The experience from start to finish was as great as before. From the first visit by Jake to the post-installation follow-up call by Judith, everything worked extremely well again. The door looks and feels solid and is made to look like the original door (first installed in 1905), including double glazing in 3 different colours across the 9 glass segments. If you are after a cheap job, don’t use London Box Sash Windows Ltd – they are not cheap. But for your money, you get an outstanding product, expertly installed and with full warranty. Without hesitation, I will recommend London Box Sash Windows Ltd to friends and neighbours.

From our initial enquiry onwards, every aspect of getting our three new windows went smoothly. The estimator, surveyor and fitter were all caring, polite and efficient (as was the accounts manager who I only spoke to on the phone). Every effort was made to cause as little disruption as possible and protect to our rooms, carpets and furniture before work began. This work proceeded at a pace and by the end of day one (of three) two windows were already fitted. The windows are beautiful, bespoke made in the LBSC. factory but the architraves are cut on site by the fitter so perfectly fit each window. We got cheaper quotes but are so pleased we chose London Box Sash Windows Ltd. The professionalism, care and quality of the windows are brilliant. This is the second time we have used The London Box Sash Company. The first time was about two years ago. On both occasions they did a superb job with the fitting of new very high quality windows. The sound reduction has been remarkable. The property is a rented property and communications between us, the tenants and company and workmen were excellent, with quick and positive responses to any queries. From the survey they were able to give extremely helpful and knowledgeable advice for which we were very grateful. As a result we were able to make informed decisions at our own pace. They are, in fact, a pleasure to deal with. The schedule was adhered to strictly and to everyone's satisfaction. In short, I have no hesitation in highly recommending this excellent firm.

LBSW recently fitted 2 new double glazed box sash windows in our Victorian house. As we live on a busy road we opted for the acoustic glass in the front of the double glazed unit. We can really tell the difference already in terms of sound proofing. The windows are beautifully made. The fitter Andy was very professional. He kept everything clean and tidy and went the extra mile in making sure the details were right. All in all, a smooth experience from start to finish with good communication all along. I highly recommend.

London Box Sash Windows just completed the installation of our new, double glazed windows across our mid-terraced Victorian house. We couldn't be happier with the experience, from start to finish. Jake took a lot of time during the initial consultation, explaining the options available and impact on costs. We had four quotes in the end, roughly in the same price range and decided to go with LBSW due to their professionalism and responsiveness. Harry did the technical inspection pre-installation and Judith kept us updated throughout the process. At the scheduled day of installation, Audris arrived punctually (on the minute!) and his and David's work was spotless. They both worked extremely hard, precise and left every room they worked in tidy (we didn't have to do any cleaning ourselves!). Within a week, all our windows were done, in line with the promised timeline. We could really trust the team and go about our lives and just leave them with a key, which is a great feeling. Also, there was much less redecoration needed than we feared, thanks to the team's careful way of working. Choosing a firm to work with for new windows was a big decision for us, and I can only recommend LSBW. Our house is much warmer, quieter and with no more annoying draughts, we don't regret the investment for a second.

For some time we have been working towards replacing some sash windows in our large mid-Victorian semi-detached house so as to reduce draft, make some rooms warmer, make window opening easier and hopefully safe some energy cost. After visits by several companies, it was clear from the start that LBS offered a more personalised service and listened more carefully to what we actually wanted. They were the only company to offer sash-only replacement and the only one to point out that full frame replacement would cause problems where the window frame was integrated with shutters and a plaster cornice. All the pre-installation contact was great, with a very detailed on-site discussion of all the different options. A very detailed specification/estimate was sent for checking, and then a second survey by the fitting expert to iron out the last few potential glitches. The two fitters were brilliant, changing 8 windows in 4 days, arriving promptly for a 7.30am start, and meticulously clearing up dust and rubbish to leave the house in a very good state each day. On the final evening we immediately noticed the reduction in noise and draught, and the increased warmth. We would not hesitate to use LBS again and to recommend them to others. High quality full replacement of sash windows is not cheap, but we feel that we have installed an excellent product that has greatly enhanced the comfort of our home, that will last for many years, and that has increased its eventual sale value.

Very high quality windows. They make a massive insulation/ sound difference. The company is properly professional and easy to deal with. That is all great. The prompt to leave a review is however Audrius, a gentle mountain of an impressive craftsman, who did all the work so carefully and so swiftly. Bravo.

Having originally wanted one replacement sash window, we were so impressed with the quality of the one we ordered, we went on to order four more. The build quality , insulation and acoustic properties are excellent, and the style fits perfectly into our early Edwardian house. The service was always courteous, communication precise and regular, and the fitting itself carried out with great care and consideration. We are delighted with the windows, which have made a huge difference to our previously draughty home.

Got 4 windows installed by these guys almost 5 years ago. Needed two more windows but unfortunately they don't do these kind of windows anymore so I ordered somewhere. We had a loft extension with double dormer mansard windows fitted about 10 years ago. The timber windows windows did not last very well and we were looking to replace them. The customer happily gave me their contact details and after submitting drawing to them for provisional costings we arranged for Patrick to come along and do a full survey and provide final costings. We opted for the 50 year guaranteed hard wood sash windows, which although not a cheap product we wanted something that would stand the test of time. Because we already had a scaffold in place and we’re paying rent on the scaffold the team at London BoxSash even fitted us in earlier than expected which was a great help.
