I initially made contact with Ian from Longlife, after deciding to replace all my roofline (soffits, barge boards, guttering and downpipes) with UPVC. From the initial appointment for a quote, he was punctual, polite and extremely helpful. We were unsure at the time whether to go with all white products or a mix of black and white. However, with his years of experience Ian assured us that the latter would look a smarter finish. This, along with several other recommendations, and a very competitive price, gave us complete confidence to go ahead with the work. On the day, the scaffolders arrived promptly along with Mark from Longlife, who was to carry out this job. He worked quietly and efficiently without a break, and finished in two days, leaving our home clean, tidy and all rubbish removed. The end result was very smart, as Ian had predicted, and to a very high standard. We were contacted by him after completion, to check that we were totally satisfied in all areas, and not until that point did we pay a penny. Final paperwork arrived after a few weeks, including instructions on registering the ten year guarantee, which proved very simple. I am very pleased to say that this family business stating that it depends on good customer relations, and excellent workmanship is 100% spot on. I would not hesitate to use or recommend them again.

Longlife Exterior Supplies recently did work on my neighbour's property replacing guttering, sofit and barge boards. I was sufficiently impressed to ask them to quote for similar work on my own house. The initial survey was comprehensive, the quote acceptable and we agreed to proceed at a mutually acceptable date. The work commenced on time, was completed to a very high-standard, and within the promised time-scale with all waste materials removed and the site left clean and tidy. I am very pleased with the work and the company. I would have no problem recommending them to others.

Pleased with replacement upvc gutters, fascias and soffits. Professionally done in a reasonably short time without having scaffolding in place. Specified to suit our particular house, which previously had narrow fascias. Payment was on completion which was much preferable to deposit in advance, especially as there was some time between order and the work starting. Disappointed with the insurance policy (included in the cost) which only covers the scope of the written guarantee in the event the company ceases trading. Since we never received a written guarantee this insurance is worthless.

Fantastic workmanship carried out in very warm conditions. Minimum disruption caused and site was left clean and tidy every day.

I highly recommend Longlife. Their installer did a super job. Some of the work was above a conservatory which was awkward and he also chipped off rendering before installing as we are having the house re-rendered. Also dealt with a tricky electric cable coming into the property via a fascia. All done in one long day by one person, took away all of the old stuff. And a lovely chap.

We had new soffits, bargeboards, fascia's, gutters and downpipes installed, together with plastic cladding to front and back of house, and a new tiled pitched roof to front bay window. All work was carried out swiftly and professionally, with no fuss and no mess. The final cost was less than expected, and within the figure originally quoted. We would wholeheartedly recommend this firm to anyone.

I wasn't dreaming, from the initial survey to the final product I cannot find a fault. The installation was efficient, precise and so well done. Dan was very professional and completed all the work plus a few little extras like fixing a few loose and missing tiles and replacing a couple of ridge tiles. The entire house now has new guttering, fascia's and soffits and is now future proofed as I enter into retirement. My property is a mock Tudor style and the products Ian specified have kept my property looking as originally intended and they have taken great care not to omit anything. I cannot find fault with anything and would happily recommend Longlife Exteriors. I think Ian ought to extend his business into UPVC windows and conservatories/extensions . My house looks terrific. definitely one of my better choices over the years.

Replacement barge boards, soffits, guttering and cladding. Initial contact with this company was very straightforward with no pressure at all.( They had left flyers before and I had seen them working nearby.) Ian talked through the product options, how they are installed, ventilation, guarantees, time frame and cost of proposed works. Ben the fitter, was already working in the close and I was introduced to him. Several properties had been worked on in the area that looked impressive. Attention to detail was of high quality. The job took just over a week, as Ben was working alone in extreme heat or rain. He was very polite, approachable and meticulous. Overall I’m very happy with the work done. I admit price quoted was beyond my expectations, but after other quotes, I soon realised that this was “total” and completely in a higher league. I can highly recommend them.

Ian (the gaffer) arrived for his appointment on time, gave us a clear quote and did not apply any sales pressure at all. The team of fitters (Dave & Ben) arrived on time for the start of the installation and worked steadily and professionally throughout. They were both cheerful characters even when they were working in the pouring rain and they even found time to do a couple of small repair jobs for us whilst the ladders were up. Team hampered by poor weather and the lengthy journey to get here (North Surrey) from their base in Kent. As a result the work area could have been cleaner and tidier but, having said that, the completed job is second to none. Soffits, facias and guttering looks superb. Work was completed on schedule and to the agreed price.

No sales pressure, an honest price, no "false discounts" or any other nonsense that this industry is infamous for. The Installers were super polite, friendly, careful and nothing was too much bother. The quality of the job is superb. In this day and age, finding a company who simply does everything they promise is extremely rare but with Longlife you get exactly that.

We wanted to replace our fascia and contacted Ian for a quote. He came to carry out a survey and provided a price there and then. There was no push to agree the price which was very welcome. We contacted him the following day and agreed a start date and from that point on everything went smoothly. The guys were friendly and knowledgeable; at the end of the working day they cleaned up and tidied the work area ready to return the following day to complete the work. On completion we were asked to walk round the job and satisfy ourselves that all the work had been done and the area left in a clean and tidy condition. In all a hassle free experience. Like most people out there I like to try and do my homework whenever I have work done, this time it didn't appear as easy. I had five companies visit to price for my job, some just looked at my house and gave a quote, others measured but I never heard back when asking for quote in writing. Ian did everything I was expecting. He measured properly, explained the process and showed me examples of materials to be used. The fitters where on time, if anything a little early so I was still on the school run, polite and professional. The work was carried out to my expectations, and all rubbish was removed by them.
