I am sorry that you feel that the work that we carried out at your property was expensive. However, this review is rather misleading: the work carried out was more than a simple lock replacement; it was a 'emergency' attendance for: - Removal of a jammed key (on the external side) of their British Standard (BS) sash mortice lock, this was done without any damage to the door, handles, frame or surrounds. - Removal of the out of date and problematic lock, - and carpentry work to install a new [latest generation] BS sash mortice lock and boxed strike keep, in its place. We are a long established, family run business and the satisfaction of our customers is of prime importance. Following, an email from the customer to our accounts team (a few hours before this review was left), the customer commented that the invoice he received was "quite expensive" - as the customer is an OAP a £20 goodwill voucher was offered. The price of, £141.30 + VAT (before the goodwill was applied) I believe, is a fair reflection for a skilled tradesperson to attend the property in response to an emergency call and carry out the above mentioned work, providing [quote] "excellent service and good quality materials” We are a small business and always aim to keep our prices as competitive as possible, this can be seen from the all other reviews, over the past 7 years, which all have a 5/5 value rating.
