Very happy with the service. A few problems were found with my boiler and was fixed within the week. Good price. Knowledgeable friendly plumber that came with 2 very pleasant young apprentices. Efficient and helpful lady on the phone. Would highly recommend.

Boiler service and control panel were replaced quickly and efficiently. The company's administration is very reliable and rapid. There is always an email reminder of the date and time prior to the call and a check afterwards before payment is required. The engineers are polite, helpful and unobtrusive. There was a problem caused after the last service but it was rectified speedily without question.

I had a problem with the ballcock in the cold water tank and asked for a quote to replace it and the 60 year old tank. They said they would send someone to survey it in 2 days, which was fine. Later that afternoon I found water dripping though the kitchen ceiling so I contacted them again to see if they could send someone that day. Later that afternoon a plumber arrived and replaced the ballcock. He was a courteous man, very helpful and fixed the problem in an hour and a quarter which included going out to obtain a missing component. The system is now operating correctly and I still have an intact ceiling. I am now awaiting the quote for the tank replacement. I would definitely recommend this company.

We produce whirlpools and I searched for a company who would evaluate the removal of one of our whirlpools in quite a delicate situation. After trying many companies Lucas Plumbing answered very positively. The professionality was clear from the very start. I work regularly with many plumbing companies within the UK, and where the most are very good and I have no complaints, none have quite matched this service. The customer contact was exceptionally well done, under difficult circumstances, I was included in all customer contact and regularly updated. I received a full job report when the work was completed including photographs of every step. The invoice was very clear with very reasonable price. I cannot praise this company enough, my only regret is that I cannot use Lucas plumbing for every job I have in in the UK.

Replaced two valves on unvented hot water cylinder. Went out of their way to meet my request for the work to be done earlier than had been planned because a problem had arisen. Work done to new schedule, very professionally. Paperwork excellent for quotation, invoice and receipt. It was a pleasure to deal with all Lucas personnel.

Lucas Plumbing is a great company to work with. They installed a new oil boiler a couple of years ago as we embarked on our house refurb project, connected it to the temporary accommodation/outbuilding we were moving into on site to live in during the refurb, nothing is ever a problem or too complicated for them. Their admin team is five stars also, reminding you of annual services etc. Perfect.

Cancelled my appointment against my wishes due to wilful misunderstanding of my call chasing up the engineer
I had a very poor experience today, returning to this firm after using them last year with no bother. Booking made 2 weeks previously, 12-4 call out. Promised first call of the afternoon (reiterated over the phone). Called at 1330 asking where plumber was. Told he was delayed on morning job, called me back at 1420. Received call at 1500 to say he would be another half hour. I questioned why, lady (who turned out to be the owner) started raising voice, told me I was calling her a liar, and would cancel the appointment. I was taken aback to be honest, I had merely questioned how a job could have overrun by 3 hours plus. She got even more irritated and then put the phone down on me. I didn't raise my voice once. If she has a recording of the call she's welcome to submit it. Very, very poor. Can only assume there's a lot of mugs out there willing to put up with this. I would lose my customers fast with an attitude like that. Anyone know a good, reliable, plumber?

My taps had been leaking for some weeks and various work was done on them, but they still continued to leak. It appeared that the new parts were slightly different from the original, so minor adjustments were made and I am now leak free. The plumbers were very cheerful about their work which was done very efficiently. I would recommend this company.
