Called on a Monday and work carried out on Wednesday. Arrived well within time period. Friendly and efficient. Mask worn and I felt perfectly safe. Good value and a lot cheaper than plumbers we have used in the past. Recommended.

Very swift response to our early morning telephone call. We had no heating or hot water. Within no time the Lucas van arrived with an engineer, who quickly found the problem. Unfortunately a part was needed, and this was duly ordered. However should the part not arrive in time it was arranged that heaters would be supplied for our use whilst we awaited the arrival of the part. During the afternoon, just before four pm, we were telephoned and told the part had arrived and the engineer would be making his way to us to fit it. This was not a straightforward job, but the engineer Jake was calmly efficient and determined to get us heating and hot water. He achieved this. Our boiler is external, the evening was cold and dark. The next day, Saturday, Jake telephoned to make sure all was well and we were ok. This service was exceptional.

Having used Lucas Plumbing previously I find they provide their services professionally, effectively and agreed on schedule. Very good and fast at responding to subsequent queries and rectifying the small problem.

This company is helpful friendly, thorough and professional. My shower went wrong before coming out they investigated possible causes and advised us what to do, they then called the manufacturer, called me back with advice, I then purchased the required part which they fitted within days. I trust this company completely, they could have ripped me off, instead they advised me how to save money and then fitted the part and made sure that everything worked properly quickly and efficiently . I would recommend this company for their honesty and expertise.

Luke's team always good even when things go wrong. They stay and fix it, are polite, knowledgeable and don't try and sell your stuff you don't need. My go to plumbing and heating specialists.

I was impressed by the knowledge and proficiency of the engineer. He completed the work in good time and was respected Covid guidelines throughout the visit.

Included gas boiler service and unvented cylinder annual check. Replacement part installed on the second visit. Carried out at times agreed and with all area left clean. Plumber very respectful and wore a mask at all times. The used firm previously and would again.

Our 23 year old boiler finally died on us and so we needed to go boiler hunting, after getting numerous boiler from the ridiculous £5800 from British Gas to the ultra cheap, we called Lucas Plumbing after being recommend to us, and boy weren't we glad we did. A very through quote with numerous options which included moving the boiler from our airing cupboard to the loft, which gave us more room in the house. We decided to use Lucas Plumbing to install our boiler, we were recommended the ATAG which came with a 14 year warranty. The work was carried out in the three days we were quoted and from start to finish they were great, they kept us updated on the work that was being done and after everyday the areas they used were left clean and tidy, on the final day we were given a thorough run through of how the boiler worked as well as the new thermostat ( which can be controlled by an app). The boiler is just as good as we were told and our house is warm and toasty when we need it to be, as well as being cheaper for us to run. I cannot recommend the company enough and if you are still looking get them to give you a quote, they are not the cheapest nor the most expensive but they are the most professional.

Booking on the phone was easy and friendly. Arrived on time, did the job with no problems, and answered several questions I was concerned about, not in relation to the job in hand.

I have used this trader many times over the years and it is always a quick response and a friendly very competent job. The big jobs I have used them for are: I have had my oil tank replaced, my oil boiler replaced, a water leak repaired. And smaller plumbing repairs that now I am on my own are beyond my ability, Cost is reasonable and I am always happy to recommend.

After some bad experiences with another gas engineer, I found Lucas Plumbing & Heating and found them to be easy to deal with, professional and good value - which is really refreshing compared with the other company I was dealing with. There was someone to answer my phone call (better than letting it go to voicemail and never calling back), turned up when they said they would and then sent me a very fair bill. All good!

Leaking toilet overflow, contacted Lucas plumbing. Arranged a suitable date which was later than they offered due to my work schedule. Came promptly on day requested, Luke, very pleasant, experienced and smart young man. Found fault but didn’t have specific part, went to purchase one and returned promptly Fixed fault, checked all was fine and no further leak. Brilliant service and such a nice team, Luke and lady on the phone who organised everything. Recommend to all.

Engineer arrived during the time slot and I was contacted by their office team with an update on his arrival time. He was friendly, very tidy and very methodical in carrying out the service on our gas fire. Would recommend Lucas Plumbing & Heating to anyone. Invoice value was the same as the upfront quote.

We used this company to do an annual service on our boiler. As usual, they were very efficient, polite and arrived when they said they would.

I have always gone to a very well known branded company and paid a hefty price. I always thought I was getting a service to match the price. Not at all. When I tried Lucas, not only did they thoroughly look into my boiler they cleaned it and showed me how dirty it was as the previous services weren't carried out to the high standard I had thought I had paid for. Anyway they were polite, competent and I will be using Lucas from now on and can recommend them highly.
