Jake and the team attended a call out at my house on Monday late afternoon to diagnose that the heat exchanger on my oil fired boiler had terminally broken and that I needed a whole new boiler. By Friday lunchtime they had completed the work exactly as described including sourcing all required parts and fitting. The team was so professional, thorough, and really nice guys who did a great job. It's great to deal with such a professional outfit who deliver exactly what they promise. They will be my plumber of choice for any work going forward.

Lucas plumbing were chosen from a shortlist of three - they were knowledgeable, they were always first to respond - site survey, questions, further questions, quotation modifications etc. Customer team great too - we knew who was arriving and what time. Four and a half years ago, the day before I was going on holiday, I came home to find my boiler leaking water. I was recommended to phone Lucas Plumbing & Heating and they came within a short space of time and dealt with the immediate problem. A quote was prepared and emailed and a new boiler was fitted upon my return from holiday. The quote included 3 years free servicing. Recently I needed a new valve; I phoned on the Friday and was allocated the first call on the following Monday. Lucas Plumbing & Heating are the nicest people to deal with and all the engineers I have encountered are very professional and respectful of my home. I understand from others that they are well respected in the trade.

The team at Lucas Plumbing installed a boiler for us a couple of years ago, as well as a bathroom. Since then we have relied on them to carry out the annual maintenance on our boiler and they have always done a great job, as speedy as they possibly can, even when a spare part needs ordering etc.; their reliability is fantastic to be honest, they are a brilliant company to work with!

I contacted Lucas plumbing on Friday 14th Feb and explained my underfloor heating wasn't working. I described what was wrong and sent a photo. I was contacted the same day and told I would get a quote for repairing the system. I received a quote on Monday 17th Feb and the repair was completed Wednesday 19th Feb. Great communication from Lucas office from start to finish. For the repair, the plumber arrived in a marked vehicle, he explained what he was going to do and completed the works competently to a high standard. Everything was run and tested and explained and cleaned up and tided before he left. We are both retired OAP's and felt so pleased we had used Lucas Plumbing, really good service start to finish.

Our bathroom toilet wouldn't flush, and I had visitors. I telephoned Lucas Plumbing & Heating on Monday morning and one of their plumbers, Luke, a pleasant young man, came in the afternoon. He found that the cistern was not filling properly and had to change the float valve. The new one he had brought with him was faulty, but he managed to clean up the old float valve and replace parts that had perished. Now the system is working perfectly, and at a reasonable cost.

Extremely efficient and very prompt service. As a social landlord we will most certainly be using their services in the future.

Lucas Plumbing were the only company to solve my heating - or lack of - problem. Their employees were courteous, reliable, hard working and efficient. Protective dust sheets were laid wherever they were working to protect the flooring and, on completion, left everything beautifully clean and tidy. They also installed a new bathroom a couple of years ago. Moreover, their final invoice was less than my quotation. I would very highly recommend this company and would most certainly use them again.

I had used Lucas' for many years and having recently moved back into the area called for help with an ancient heating system. We discussed the options to optimise efficiency, they provided a quote, completed the work in time and to budget. The engineers were clean, polite, professional and efficient and put up with my kids asking endless questions and so extremely patient too! Not sure if they were the cheapest or best value as you can't put a price on trust - I wouldn't call anyone else.

I sent an email enquiry on Sunday, was visited for a review and quote on Monday and work completed on Friday - exceptionally efficient operation and really a breath of fresh air in the plumbing and heating engineer area.

Lucas Plumbing carried a full plumbing project on our house build, and we're very pleased with them. Plumbing is not something you can afford to take short cuts on, and Lucas never fail to deliver. They are quick, reliable and excellent quality. They aren't the cheapest, but why would you go for the cheapest on something as important as plumbing?? Suffice you say, you get what you pay for. Fully recommended.

They responded within half an hour and called round in two hours. The problem was quickly identified and resolved. The system was checked before the engineer left. The cost was very reasonable.

Engineer arrived on time and the job was carried out as expected. The engineer was very helpful and kind with explaining things to me.

We were delighted with the work carried out which was to service the boiler and fix a problem with the toilet cistern. We previously had a contract with SSE and although they charged a large monthly fee they did not look after the boiler as they were contracted to do. Brian was very experienced and friendly, he quickly noted a problem with cracked insulation to the boiler and that it was full of soot and it had clearly not been serviced properly previously. Well done Lucas Plumbing and we look forward to continuing to use your services in the future.

We had our boiler service carried out recently by Lucas Plumbing and Heating and they discovered that the heat shield needed to be replaced. The service was very thorough and carefully done. The heat shield was ordered promptly and its replacement was scheduled as soon as possible. The workmen turned up exactly when promised and carried out the work quickly and carefully. Everything is now working as it should. We have used Lucas Plumbing and Heating to install boilers and plumbing and to service and carry out repairs for more than five years and have always been fully satisfied with the work and the service. We are happy to recommend them to anybody - and have done to friends.

We have used Lucas plumbing many times over the last 4 years since moving to Wargrave. They've always sorted out any plumbing issues very efficiently and also keep us informed as to exact times of visits and when they might have to come back with a different spare part or whatever. The boiler service was undertaken in the usual prompt, efficient and friendly manner one has come to expect from the Lucas team. The service is unobtrusive and the standard of workmanship is high. My utility room was left clean and tidy when the staff departed.
