Our old gas central heating boiler was replaced with a new condensing boiler in less than 2 days with minimal disruption to the rest of the system. The existing opening for the external flue was re-used leaving a very neat finish on the outside of the house.

As always Lucas were tops. The previous sink and bathroom work was undertaken very efficiently and the found leaks were rectified on this occasion. The parts required were no longer available so a work around was undertaken and very successfully. Would recommend Lucas as a helpful and efficient company.

Came over to diagnose a ceiling leak and a faulty shower. Worked quickly on the shower and made a quick solve, ceiling leak was diagnosed within the hour, coming back for part two tomorrow. Overall, prompt, polite and professional service. Would highly recommend.

I have used Lucas Plumbing several times and have been very impressed with all the staff I’ve encountered. The reception staff are polite and courteous and very efficient at booking appointments. Every plumber that has done work for me have been superb - very friendly, respectful and respectable, they have been a credit to their company. I employed the company to identify and repair a leak on the hidden services between two back to back bathrooms. The pipe work is boxed in and partially tiled with no access into the void. The engineer had the necessary equipment to investigate the location of the leak with the minimum disruption and damage to the property. He was efficient and courteous. From the first office contact to completion of work the company was most professional. Especially as the work was expedited during the lockdown. I have no hesitation in recommending this company. I am a retired Chartered Engineer so recognise a good building services company.

In the midst of corona crisis our power shower stopped working. I contacted Lucas by email and within 48 hours I received and accepted a quote. The work was completed quickly, efficiently and wthin the time scales set. The plumber was very aware of the need to social distance. Jake and the team attended a call out at my house on Monday late afternoon to diagnose that the heat exchanger on my oil fired boiler had terminally broken and that I needed a whole new boiler. By Friday lunchtime they had completed the work exactly as described including sourcing all required parts and fitting. The team was so professional, thorough, and really nice guys who did a great job. It's great to deal with such a professional outfit who deliver exactly what they promise. They will be my plumber of choice for any work going forward.

Four and a half years ago, the day before I was going on holiday, I came home to find my boiler leaking water. I was recommended to phone Lucas Plumbing & Heating and they came within a short space of time and dealt with the immediate problem. A quote was prepared and emailed and a new boiler was fitted upon my return from holiday. The quote included 3 years free servicing. Recently I needed a new valve; I phoned on the Friday and was allocated the first call on the following Monday. Lucas Plumbing & Heating are the nicest people to deal with and all the engineers I have encountered are very professional and respectful of my home. I understand from others that they are well respected in the trade.

The team at Lucas Plumbing installed a boiler for us a couple of years ago, as well as a bathroom. Since then we have relied on them to carry out the annual maintenance on our boiler and they have always done a great job, as speedy as they possibly can, even when a spare part needs ordering etc.; their reliability is fantastic to be honest, they are a brilliant company to work with!

I contacted Lucas plumbing on Friday 14th Feb and explained my underfloor heating wasn't working. I described what was wrong and sent a photo. I was contacted the same day and told I would get a quote for repairing the system. I received a quote on Monday 17th Feb and the repair was completed Wednesday 19th Feb. Great communication from Lucas office from start to finish. For the repair, the plumber arrived in a marked vehicle, he explained what he was going to do and completed the works competently to a high standard. Everything was run and tested and explained and cleaned up and tided before he left. We are both retired OAP's and felt so pleased we had used Lucas Plumbing, really good service start to finish.

Our bathroom toilet wouldn't flush, and I had visitors. I telephoned Lucas Plumbing & Heating on Monday morning and one of their plumbers, Luke, a pleasant young man, came in the afternoon. He found that the cistern was not filling properly and had to change the float valve. The new one he had brought with him was faulty, but he managed to clean up the old float valve and replace parts that had perished. Now the system is working perfectly, and at a reasonable cost.
