Lucas Plumbing were the only company to solve my heating - or lack of - problem. Their employees were courteous, reliable, hard working and efficient. Protective dust sheets were laid wherever they were working to protect the flooring and, on completion, left everything beautifully clean and tidy. They also installed a new bathroom a couple of years ago. Moreover, their final invoice was less than my quotation. I would very highly recommend this company and would most certainly use them again.

I had used Lucas' for many years and having recently moved back into the area called for help with an ancient heating system. We discussed the options to optimise efficiency, they provided a quote, completed the work in time and to budget. The engineers were clean, polite, professional and efficient and put up with my kids asking endless questions and so extremely patient too! Not sure if they were the cheapest or best value as you can't put a price on trust - I wouldn't call anyone else.

I sent an email enquiry on Sunday, was visited for a review and quote on Monday and work completed on Friday - exceptionally efficient operation and really a breath of fresh air in the plumbing and heating engineer area.

Lucas Plumbing carried a full plumbing project on our house build, and we're very pleased with them. Plumbing is not something you can afford to take short cuts on, and Lucas never fail to deliver. They are quick, reliable and excellent quality. They aren't the cheapest, but why would you go for the cheapest on something as important as plumbing?? Suffice you say, you get what you pay for. Fully recommended.

They responded within half an hour and called round in two hours. The problem was quickly identified and resolved. The system was checked before the engineer left. The cost was very reasonable.

We were delighted with the work carried out which was to service the boiler and fix a problem with the toilet cistern. We previously had a contract with SSE and although they charged a large monthly fee they did not look after the boiler as they were contracted to do. Brian was very experienced and friendly, he quickly noted a problem with cracked insulation to the boiler and that it was full of soot and it had clearly not been serviced properly previously. We had our boiler service carried out recently by Lucas Plumbing and Heating and they discovered that the heat shield needed to be replaced. The service was very thorough and carefully done. The heat shield was ordered promptly and its replacement was scheduled as soon as possible. The workmen turned up exactly when promised and carried out the work quickly and carefully. Everything is now working as it should. We have used Lucas Plumbing and Heating to install boilers and plumbing and to service and carry out repairs for more than five years and have always been fully satisfied with the work and the service. We are happy to recommend them to anybody - and have done to friends.

We have used Lucas plumbing many times over the last 4 years since moving to Wargrave. They've always sorted out any plumbing issues very efficiently and also keep us informed as to exact times of visits and when they might have to come back with a different spare part or whatever. I am happy to recommend them.

The boiler service was undertaken in the usual prompt, efficient and friendly manner one has come to expect from the Lucas team. The service is unobtrusive and the standard of workmanship is high. My utility room was left clean and tidy when the staff departed.

Very happy with the service. A few problems were found with my boiler and was fixed within the week. Good price. Knowledgeable friendly plumber that came with 2 very pleasant young apprentices. Efficient and helpful lady on the phone. Would highly recommend.

Boiler service and control panel were replaced quickly and efficiently. The company's administration is very reliable and rapid. There is always an email reminder of the date and time prior to the call and a check afterwards before payment is required. The engineers are polite, helpful and unobtrusive. There was a problem caused after the last service but it was rectified speedily without question.

I had a problem with the ballcock in the cold water tank and asked for a quote to replace it and the 60 year old tank. They said they would send someone to survey it in 2 days, which was fine. Later that afternoon I found water dripping though the kitchen ceiling so I contacted them again to see if they could send someone that day. Later that afternoon a plumber arrived and replaced the ballcock. He was a courteous man, very helpful and fixed the problem in an hour and a quarter which included going out to obtain a missing component. The system is now operating correctly and I still have an intact ceiling. I am now awaiting the quote for the tank replacement. I would definitely recommend this company.

We produce whirlpools and I searched for a company who would evaluate the removal of one of our whirlpools in quite a delicate situation. After trying many companies Lucas Plumbing answered very positively. The professionality was clear from the very start. I work regularly with many plumbing companies within the UK, and where the most are very good and I have no complaints, none have quite matched this service. The customer contact was exceptionally well done, under difficult circumstances, I was included in all customer contact and regularly updated. I received a full job report when the work was completed including photographs of every step. The invoice was very clear with very reasonable price. I cannot praise this company enough, my only regret is that I cannot use Lucas plumbing for every job I have in in the UK.

Replaced two valves on unvented hot water cylinder. Went out of their way to meet my request for the work to be done earlier than had been planned because a problem had arisen. Work done to new schedule, very professionally. Paperwork excellent for quotation, invoice and receipt. It was a pleasure to deal with all Lucas personnel.

Cannot rate Lucas Plumbing & Heating highly enough. Each time I have needed their services they have turned up promptly, identified the problem, given an estimate and then completed the job on time and as per estimate.

Lucas Plumbing is a great company to work with. They installed a new oil boiler a couple of years ago as we embarked on our house refurb project, connected it to the temporary accommodation/outbuilding we were moving into on site to live in during the refurb, nothing is ever a problem or too complicated for them. Their admin team is five stars also, reminding you of annual services etc. Perfect.
