Lucas plumbing and heating helped us out at short notice when we were let down by another company. They were very helpful and Scott was great. I would not hesitate to use them again and would definitely recommend.

Very pleased with Lucas Plumbing and Heating - we had a leak under our hall floor and they were excellent all the way, from diagnosing the leak to fixing it and doing a couple of other small jobs along the way. Always punctual and pleasant to deal with, did what they said they would do when they said they would do it.

Had a change of boiler, a Nest thermostat installed and a shower changed. Both Scott and Liam were polite, helpful and worked quick and cleanly throughout. Can't recommend them and Lucas Plumbing and Heating highly enough. Quote was very competitive and did not change. All good from first call to final invoice.

I liked the communication with the office as it's always a disruption to a routine when something need to be fixed at short time. The time window for the visit was narrowed down at convenient times. The engineer was quick and knowledgeable, having left his shoes out and politely introduced himself, he was soon investigating the problem and he was open to questions who totally satisfied my curiosity. We have used Lucas Plumbing and Heating Ltd. to maintain our boilers (we have two), fit a new boiler and other general plumbing work for more than three years and the firm fitted the main boiler for the previous owners. We have always found them to be reliable and efficient and they seem to have a very good understanding of the systems we have and are able to maintain them to a high standard. They always turn up when they say they will and have never let us down. They operate very efficiently as well. We get email reminders when services are due and all work is backed up by a written quotation before the job is agreed. On the day or sometimes the day before we get an email reminder that the job is due which gives us confidence and a timely reminder. After work has been completed, invoicing is prompt and efficient and certificates for work such as boiler servicing are sent. We have been very pleased with the quality of the work and the service and have never needed to call them back. It is always done properly first time. It can be hard to find good plumbing and heating companies but we can certainly recommend this one. We are glad that the previous owner of this house recommended them to us.

I have been using Lucas Plumbing for many many years now and have recommended them to so many people. I have used them for a range of jobs from boiler replacements, bathroom refits, servicing and landlord safety requirements, aswell as general breakdowns and repairs. In all the time I have used them, I could not fault the speed and level of service, versatility, professionalism and standard of work. I have seen the company grow from pretty much a one man band when it was just Jake Lucas, to the larger successful company Lucas Plumbing is today. It took two weeks to completely replace a complicated boiler system, where previous owners had added bits of equipment over the years. Daniella kept me informed throughout. Scott was here early every morning and worked quickly and efficiently, leaving the site cleared and clean every night. All the old tanks and rubbish were taken away. We are now planning to have air conditioning units installed by Lucas Plumbing and Heating in the near future. We would highly recommend, they did a great job. Many thanks.

I have used Lucas P&H for 3 yrs now for my annual boiler service and landlord certificate. I've never been charged for any additional work. The tradesmen have always been professional/polite and friendly. They are accommodating in terms of schedule, times and logistics. It would be nice if largely overlapping work didn't require a double charge (landlord cert and service) but this seems to be an industry norm.

Jake, Daniella and the Lucas Team were prompt, courteous and efficient throughout. They were 100% confiortable with me seeking other quotes and once we decided to progress with them (due to their superior fault finding and diagnosis of the problem), the admin and communication was fast, Clare and accurate. Jake arrived on time and did what was described in the quote perfectly. Job done, heating system fixed (an oil based system). Highly recommended !!

They completed the following pieces of work on time: Removal of old boiler Removal of old sinks Installation of new boiler with thermostat system Installation of water filter They were able to correctly recommend the best solution to meet our requirements. An old boiler and tank were replaced with a new combi-boiler, radiator and thermostats. The work was carried out quickly, efficiently and very, very cleanly with absolutely minimum disruption. The fitters were very friendly and professional, the quotation was extremely competitive and came with 3 years annual service, and the whole experience was hassle-free and pleasant. We returned recently from a foreign trip to find our house cold and miserable - our oil boiler was not running. On the advice of our friendly plumber we contacted Lucas Plumbing and they couldn't have been more helpful. Despite being very busy in the run-up to Christmas, Jake kindly arranged to fit us in and came promptly on the appointed day. He was extremely knowledgeable, efficient and very pleasant indeed. He diagnosed the problem quickly, fixed it, and then gave the boiler a thorough clean. I meant to write this at Christmas, but got diverted by life. But, I couldn't recommend Lucas Plumbing more enthusiastically - and the administration office was just as efficient and helpful. It is wonderful to deal with a company such as this. Jeff
