Again we used Lucas plumbing for the third time to fix a en-suite shower. The team are reliable, prompt, friendly and professional. We have also had our boiler serviced and feel we can totally trust them

I am really happy with the service Lucas provided. From the outset I used the website to get a broad estimation of cost. The surveyor came as scheduled and was incredibly helpful and explained what to expect. The cost was competitive and the best of 3 quotes. I was unsure which brand of boiler to go with and I was able to have a follow up call with the surveyor to help put my mind at ease. The installation was booked two weeks after the decision to go ahead and on the day of the installation, the engineer turned up on time, was courteous and again explained what to expect. Lucas sent the surveyor around as well on the installation day to ensure all was going to plan. Ultimately the install took 1.5 days in total and I am very happy with my new boiler. I wouldn’t hesitate to use again - and I will for servicing :-)

I had not used this company before but they had been recommended. Finn did a great job most thorough boiler service I have ever had everything was checked and a radiator that had not been working for a while was repaired. He was very polite and nothing was too much trouble. I will certainly be using Lucas plumbing and heating again.

Had our boilers serviced by Lucas Plumbing and Heating. They have done the job now for a number of years and are always thorough in their work and helpful with advice. A reminder email is sent so that the service is not forgotten and the documentation is sent out immediately after payment. Everything is very efficiently organised. Costs are known in advance and, if any additional work is needed it will be quoted for.

We discovered a water leak above the ceiling of our utility room around 13:30 on 26 October. We contacted Lucas Plumbing after turning off the water to the house. They offered a plumber for the next day to come between 12:00 and 16:00, which we accepted. The plumber came the next day at 15:00, identified where the leak was and replaced a small section of pipe and a bend and cured the leak at around 16:00. We were very happy to be able to turn the water back on again!

I rang Lucas Plumbing as used them in the past and needed them to visit my parents to do a service on an Unvented Water Cylinder because the pressure kept dropping. I got an appointment quite quickly and on the day they arrived as timed and carried out the job professionally and fixed the problem. Will use them for our boiler service when due.

I have used Lucas Plumbing & Heating for boiler maintenance and landlord's gas certificate for a number of years. They have always been efficient and helpful on all occasions.

We had Lucas plumbing replace our old boiler and thermal store with a Worcester Bosch boiler and hot water tank. The team - led by George - were exceptional and did a great job. They were recommended by a neighbour who also had the same fantastic experience having had a boiler replacement. Reliable, tidy and always took the time to explain what needed doing - they clearly take pride in their workmanship and we are really pleased with the new heating system. Competitively priced too. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lucas plumbing and will be using them for all my needs / servicing going forwards.

Our kitchen tap had started leaking and it was getting worse. Since March 2018 we have always turned to Lucas - this must have been at least the 10th job they have done for us, always with excellent results. They replaced the tap within about an hour - a routine job maybe, but reliably completed and at reasonable cost. We recommend them without hesitation.

Our old boiler broke down and was beyond economic repair so we needed a new one as quickly as possible. Lucas Plumbing came out promptly and provided a quotation which we accepted. The installation date was set for just after our return from holiday. Two excellent engineers turned up and did a first-class and very thorough job paying close attention to all the little details and making sure we were completely satisfied with the work, which we were. The work was done in two days as per schedule and we now have a lovely new boiler and plenty of hot water. The heating also works well, but not needed yet as it's the middle of summer! Thanks to Jake, George, Luke and all the team for another great job.

I have been very frustrated with various plumbers over the year. Never call back, don’t answer the phone, don’t come back when they said they would. Lucas were dramatically different, office staff working closely with engineers who turned when they said they would. Issue fixed. I won’t go anywhere else if they keep this up.

An overflow pipe was dripping intermittently. I phoned the company (on Friday) and was given an appointment for Tuesday morning. As requested I paid a upfront charge. The engineer came at the appointed time; he quickly diagnosed and rectified the problem. He was polite, efficient and helpful. No additional charge was needed. I shall certainly use this company again.

I have had trouble with this toilet several times over 5/6 years. The leaking /dripping is especially irritating in the early hours and prevents my sleep. Lucas answered by online enquiry very promptly after I sent photos and quoted and came the next day. I used the Firm last January for a central heating breakdown. Once again the work was undertaken speedily, professionally and frankly I could not praise the young plumber more highly.The up to the wall toilet was not easy to deal with.I was shown how to deal with the new mechanism and the en suite was left spotless.

I continue to use Lucas for both my rented properties and my own residence. Their work is of good quality and they give a prompt service. I have never been let down. David

I have been using Lucas Plumbing for some years now and all their staff are very good and obliging. Would thoroughly recommend them.

As a business it is hard to find a reliable company to fix ad-hoc plumbing issues, but Lucas Plumbing & Heating have this sorted. They were called to change over 3 TMV valves on the washroom showers which was done in a timely manor. A quotation was sent, which was agreed before the work was completed. Upon attendance, the engineer arrived within the timescales, the work was carried out and completed, left neat and tidy and everything working. An invoice was sent for the works as agreed which was paid promptly. Great communication throughout. A great service and would recommend their services. I will use them again.

Lucas Plumbing and Heating were very quick to give the initial quote and when I accepted the quote they were quick to respond with a date for the work. They did a power flush of my central heating system. The engineer arrived at the time they had stated; explained what he would be doing and got on with the job in an efficient manner keeping me updated throughout the day. I appreciate how he removed his boots when he came into the house.

Excellent and efficient service from Lucas Plumbing and Heating Ltd as always. The guys always turn up when they say they will, and are very quick, neat and tidy in getting the boiler service done. Even checked the pressures in the radiators this time too. Always gives me re-assurance and piece of mind that properly qualified tradesperson as they are, are giving me positive feedback that the boiler is safe and heating system is working efficiently.

2 engineers fitted 3 brackets and batons to support them. They were friendly, polite and cleared up afterwards. British Gas required the flue brackets in line with current regulations, but do not do this work under our maintenance contract. Lucas did, then inspected the gas fire afterwards to certify it meets the standard, so we can use it again.
