Polite , professional, and kept me informed by email . Came on time given , quick turnaround . I have no problem with recommending Lucas Plumbing and hope to use them on larger jobs I will occur .

They installed our boiler last year and we received an email reminder for the annual service. Their email system/office works well - with further reminders about the date of the service and the attending engineer. Arrived on time - job well done - and happy to discuss further work we need doing. Very confident in using them again - and recommending them to others.

We engaged Lucas Plumbing to replace a lavatory. They provided a quote quickly, that we were happy with. Arranging a date about a week later to complete the job. The plumber, who was a very pleasant chap, turned up exactly on time and did a great job. Nothing but good things to say about our experience of using this company.

We had a leak coming through the lounge ceiling from a wash basin above and a previous plumber had cut a hole in the ceiling to prove where the leak was coming from but then did not want to do the work (but charged us for the visit). Other plumbers we talked to did not want the job either so it was a relief to get a company who were happy to help. All three guys who came around (one initially to review the work needed, one to do the work and another to fix a small issue afterwards) were very friendly and polite and explained everything to us. The work was done on the agreed day at the agreed price. My only small complaint would be that the charge for the initial visit, which I did not mind paying, was not explained to me when I organised that initial visit. The guy who did the work cleaned up afterwards and left things tidy. He also managed to remove three tiles without breaking them which was a huge bonus. There was a very small leak after the work had been done but they sent someone around almost straight away and he fixed the problem very fast. I would definitely use this company again.

Lucas Plumbing and Heating have been servicing our boiler annually for many years - perhaps around ten. Until this year there has been no problem with the boiler. The service took place on 30th May, and a problem was found. With the Platinum Jubilee intervening the repair was scheduled for 7th June. Then the wrong replacement part was delivered! However, the right part was sourced and delivered the next day, and fitted that day, much to our relief. From our experience, we believe Lucas Plumbing are a reliable and trustworthy company.

On time, polite and completed the job, papework followed very quickly, would recommend to use again.

Had new gas boiler, hot water tank and replacement radiators fitted. All the work carried out by George and Luke was done to an excellent standard. Very friendly and hard working team. Pipe work is a work of art. Would highly recommend Lucas Plumbing.

George from Lucas plumbing came to replace the old boiler and move it from an airing cupboard to the loft. He was super friendly and always kept me in the loop as to what he was doing. Could not recommend them enough, I will be using them for any gas/plumbing work in the future.

Not an easy job to figure out why the underfloor heating was not working throughout the house but the firm's engineer took great care to follow all the wiring, check thermostats and eventually reconfigure the electrics to get heat where it was needed. I was very impressed by the thoroughness shown to get to the bottom of the issue, as well as by the very competitive price. The visit also took place at the appointed time, with no mess left behind

I’ve used Lucas Plumbing on two recent occasions, after being recommended them by my usual plumbers (who were busy). They have been helpful, reliable and efficient, and also used excellent diagnostic skills to sort out the problems in our (old) property - also leaving our bathrooms clean and tidy which is always a bonus. The engineer arrived on time. The work was carried out in a professional manner. The engineer was very friendly and was happy to discuss the work and potential issues.

I rang and explained the problem and was prioritised, the plumber turned up on time and fixed the leak, replaced both valves on the radiator and checked the system. The whole procedure was done very quickly with no mess. I would always recommend Lucas Plumbing as they are helpful and efficient.

Booked Lucas Plumbing & Heating to descale our megaflow tank and to fit an Aquabion (water conditioner). Very pleased already with the Aquabion and can see a difference with less limescale.
