I have used them for a few years now - A reliable company, they have a good working knowledge, and their charges are reasonable. Always prompt and courteous.

Turned up within appointed period. Very friendly. Drained heating system (boiler, hot water storage, radiators, under floor system) and refilled with fresh incoming water replacing softened water fill. Added inhibitors and vented all radiators. Very methodical and efficient. Removed outdoor shoes every time on house entry. All work completed satisfactorily and on budget.

Had an unexpected oil leak after hours - left a message stating problem. Had a call back at 8 10the following morning and told an engineer would be out to me between 12and4. Visited by Luke who did a temporary repair very efficiently and said he would order a new part.. Received an email stating that the work would be completed on the 17th May- it was again in the time frame stated.

Throughout the visit the engineer and his assistant (apprentice?) were polite, helpful and professional. When issues were found with an easy fix there was no attempt to get unnecessary work completed and constructive advice was given. It was found that heating system flue was in a dangerous condition and remedial work would have to be done. Engineer offered to take further advice on our options and get back to us. Very impressed overall.

After our boiler was installed in 2007 the installer carried out the first annual service. After that the company was no longer interested in providing the annual boiler service. We struggled to find companies who were qualified and willing to do this work. After using one or two companies we found Lucas Plumbing and Heating who have been servicing the boiler now for the last 7 to 10 years. Lucas are easy to contact and to arrange a date for the service, and reliable in turning up to carry it out. After service a report is issued on the work carried out and the results of tests and investigation.

I first found Lucas Plumbing when I was researching a recommended repairer for our Vaillant boiler. They have always been reliable and done a really good job. I recommended them to my daughter who also thought they were extremely good. I have also noticed that since I started using them a couple of my neighbours are now also using them.

This company are in my experience professional and tidy in their work. If you have a problem they never fail to sort it out. I have used them for boiler installation and also for replacement of a hot water cylinder, general plumbing work and annual services. They have never failed to complete the work to a high standard.

I contacted Lucas plumbing after two other plumbers had given up on finding my leak. Luke was on time and very presentable, he was diligent in his working coming to the conclusion my problem was under the kitchen concrete floor, which a detection company will find. Before Luke left he made sure I had the central heating running, which the other plumbers had left me without. I would certainly have them again.

We selected Lucas Plumbing after a recommendation from a neighbour. They first of all were happy to fit a replacement boiler into an existing cupboard (British Gas were not) and the price was almost 2/3 off the competitive price. They arrived on time on the date agreed. George and Kai did an excellent job; no mess and were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend Lucas Plumbing. This is the second job they have done for us and we are very pleased.

If only all companies operated in the same way as Lucas Plumbing. All the engineers are polite and well turned out, and clearly know exactly what they are doing. Emily at the office is great too! Jake the proprietor always comes out to give a quote. An e-mail is sent out a couple of days prior to your appointment, just as a reminder. We've recently had a new boiler fitted by Lucas Plumbing, so superior to our old boiler. Plus they have LPG qualifications, which meant we could have our gas bottles moved to a more convenient location. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

My husband and I have always used Lucas Plumbing since becoming home owners. Lots of our friends have used them following our recommendation. My parents are very vulnerable and I contacted Lucas to complete some work at their address on my behalf. As always regardless if the job is big or small they were awesome, professional and trustworthy. Best company we have used.

The service time and date was confirmed and kept to. The engineer was quick, efficient and took time to explain what he had done. He left everywhere clean and tidy. I was very pleased with the service.

Had hot water pouring out of overflow and through the ceiling in two rooms from the loft. Panic! Lucas Plumbing explained the problem in detail so I could understand it and carried out the work quickly and efficiently whilst totally keeping to Covid guidelines. Felt totally comfortable I was given a good price and Daniela in the office provided timely call back, quotes and follow up. Very happy with whole service and would highly recommend.

We have used Lucas Plumbing for our boiler servicing on a couple of occasions in the past and they did a very good job. They also installed replacement oil tanks for us in an efficient job, and all went very smoothly, even the transfer of the oil. Yesterday we had a need to flush through our central heating radiators and the two engineers who came were really excellent. They worked hard all day, flushed all of our radiators without any real inconvenience to ourselves, and now the heating system is working smoothly and is well-balanced. It seems that Lucas Plumbing is a small and professionally run business, with experienced staff and a desire to complete quality work in a friendly and efficient manner. We will continue to use them for all our plumbing and boiler needs.

I cannot fault Lucas Plumbing & Heating Ltd and would highly recommend them. The professionalism, customer service, work carried out has been first class. The ladies I dealt with on the phone were polite and helpful - nothing was to much trouble. Jake who came to do the quote was pleasant and extremely informative and turned up on time. Peter who was here for three days and Fin for two were outstanding - they were polite with great work ethics and extremely tidy at the end of each day - my house was cleaner when they left than when they came - apart from the obvious work that was carried out, you wouldn't have known that i'd any work carried out. They were so good that I've asked them to quote on some other work - I will be using them for all of my plumbing and heating work and will be recommending them to anyone who asks.

We always use Lucas Plumbing as they do an excellent job for a reasonable price. This time it was a quick and simple task to fix a radiator leak. Job done no more leaks!

Lucas Plumbing was recommended by a neighbour and when our central heating system failed, I originally called British Gas with whom we have a contract. They were unable to attend the repair for over ONE MONTH! I turned to Lucas Plumbing who sent their engineer round in a couple of hours; diagnosed the problem, got the system working and the next day, returned to fit a new valve. We have now placed an order with Lucas to supply a new boiler and do some other radiator work. We will not be continuing to use our previous supplier of home care services.

Had our annual boiler service again and as usual, the technician was on-time, pleasant and cleaned-up after the job. Can't fault these guys

We needed a replacement boiler as it was getting passed its 'sell by' date and requiring frequent attention. Four quotations were obtained, including one from Lucas Plumbing as they are on Which Trusted Traders. The visit to assess our need for a new boiler was very professional, fitting advice we had already been made aware of. The swiftly supplied quotation was comprehensive and very competitive. On acceptance of the quotation, an installation date was booked. The two installers arrived at the anticipated time on the day. Throughout the day they carefully ensured that social distancing was maintained. As expected, the boiler installation was completed by the end of the day. All areas were left very clean, and all waste including the old boiler was removed from site. The system had been power cleaned as a matter of course, and all radiators were checked for correct working. Overall we found Lucas Plumbing to be very approachable, reasonably priced and very professional. We have no hesitation in recommending their services.

I had my boiler serviced by Lucas plumbing and heating and can recommend them. Booking was straightforward, they were available within a week and the price is competitive. On the day their engineer took thorough Covid-19 precautions and carried out necessary checks and cleaning quickly, taking time to answer my questions. I also asked for quotes for plumbing work and was impressed by engagement from the customer services team afterwards.

Very pleased with the boiler service. The engineer was polite and courteous and very professional. He took all the Covid safety measures during his work. They always come as per the scheduled time and gave us feedback at the end. The new boiler was fitted and some alterations done last year by the same company’s skilled engineers. The work was excellent and I cannot recommend them highly enough for the the very professional way they approach their work. They take a pride in their work and great care to make sure that everything is done to high standards and also neatly. Very quick to follow up and issues. Everything was priced before hand and they kept to that. Their price was very competitive.

I called Lucas Plumbing on a Tuesday to get a mains stopcock replaced. I spoke to Emily. Friendly and polite, she told me how much it would cost and booked a slot for the Friday. I received an email confirmation right afterwards and a reminder the day before. The engineer, Luke, arrived on time and fixed the problem. He showed me what he'd done, and was - again - friendly, polite, and efficient. What can I say? Spot on. I'll definitely be calling them again.
