Luke Beech Electrical

We have used Luke at various times. He’s always helpful, professional and does work of a high standard. The last time he came was in the new year when we were left with no heating and hot water. He saved the day sorting out the electrical complexity of the problem. Thank you Luke.

Luke seems to know what he's doing, he gets on with the job, and he gets it finished. Also he can give advice about different options which is useful when you are trying to upgrade electrical items on a step-by-step basis in an old house . He is registered with NAPIT (The National Association of Professional Inspectors and Testers).

Luke has worked on the electrics in my flat three times now, and I can’t recommend him enough. He has fitted various new sockets and light fittings, as well as sorting out a few problems related to the relatively old electrical system. Always reliable and straightforward, and happy to offer sensible and practical advice to minimise costs and damage to existing walls etc. during works. Importantly for me, Luke is also really tidy!

Luke was brilliant at fault finding in our basement kitchen. We works very hard and efficiently - has vast knowledge that he’s happy to share along the way. He found the fault hidden behind kitchen units within an hour and fixed it. A previous electrician has told us to rewire the kitchen so using Luke for a second opinion saved us a lot of money! I’d happily use Luke again for any electrical job no matter how big, and definite recommend to friends.

Luke is a pro, did such a great job with our new shop opening in Deptford Market Yard. A great listener, took on board my elaborate ideas for lighting and electrics and was quick to find a solution. Impressed on how fast he works and generally a really pleasant guy to have around, appreciated his interest and advise on other ideas I had for the business too! Will for sure be using his services again - overall reliable and reasonable priced, couldn't have asked for better.

Luke is extremely reliable and trustworthy and did an excellent job for me, completing the work in the time he said it would take and leaving everything in good order.

We had Luke Beech fit four new electrical sockets to the kitchen island in our house in Greenwich. He was very pleasant and helpful throughout, first visiting the house to assess the work needed and then carrying it out to a very high standard on the agreed date and exactly as planned, working quickly and efficiently. His estimate that the work would be completed within one morning was accurate, and the fee charged for half a day's labour was very fair and reasonable. Altogether we were highly satisfied with Luke's knowledge, skills and generally friendly attitude, and would certainly feel confident about turning to him again for any other electrical work we may need in the future.

Luke did a lot of electrical work on an old property we were renovating. He was always thorough, and super helpful. The electrical system was in worse condition than anticipated, and despite being very busy himself, he managed to squeeze the time to get the urgent bits done without us having to reschedule the whole project. Communications were great throughout.

Luke not only made all the necessary checks for EICR, but also fixed tricky wiring in my bathroom.

Good experience in every sense. The jobs I needed done were complex, and the results were excellent. The price was much better than expected.

This was the second time we have used Luke Beech's services. The first time was to repair a faulty halogen transformer, and the second was to take down and make safe a large chandelier and other decorative light fittings. He did an excellent job on both occasions, efficient, tidy, very safety-conscious, and his charges are reasonable. He is also polite, courteous and reassuring, and communicates effectively.

I would highly recommend Luke. He knows his onions!! He spent some time fault finding and found a solution to the problem.

Luke was very clear with his explanations and costings and did a really good job. We called him to fix an emergency problem after we drilled through a cable. As a result of his very competent work and thoughtful attitude, we booked him to replace all our kitchen lights and patio lights as these were not working efficiently. All work was brilliantly completed in less time than originally suggested. The kitchen lighting is so much better and we have good patio lights for the first time in two years. I would thoroughly recommend Luke. 10/10

I had some corrective work required from the EICR performed recently. Mr Beech has professional and efficient and showed up on time. The report and invoice was delivered on the same day. I had seen the previous good reviews on Which? Traders and my experience is in absolute agreement. Highly recommended.

When our pond pump died, Luke took pity on the fish and fitted the replacement work in between other jobs. This was not a huge task but one that required working around the pond structure and various remote controlled electrical circuits. He did it promptly, well and pleasantly. We intend to ask him to carry out more work indoors, when covid allows.

After employing Luke the first time, I knew I had found someone to trust. He's completed several jobs for me over the past few years and is always the first person I call in regards to electrical work.

Luke replaced my fuse box and tested everything to issue an EICR. He was very professional arriving on time, wearing a mask, even brought his own vacuum cleaner to clean up with afterwards. He also answered queries quickly and helpfully.

His work was quick and efficient; he arrived on time, cleared up behind himself, and provided an electrical compliance report immediately before leaving the premises. His invoice accurately reflected his estimate. We have used Mr Beech’s skills over a 2yr window; he is unfailingly polite, happy in his work, and a joy to have around. He problem-solves and deals with the unexpected without any drama or fuss - and does not patronize women or attempt to blindside non-electricians with technical issues! The light switch in my damp, below-stairs shed had failed. I assured Luke that it would be possible for him to work while maintaining social distancing. He came within the hour and completed the job promptly.

Requested assistance with some led lighting for a driveway. Luke Beech sourced the parts and carried out the work, needless to say the work was great and my client very happy. Costs were very reasonable and high service levels that I have not had in a long time. Keep up the great work.

One additional socket installed, three old sockets removed - a small job - which Luke carried out carefully and efficiently. Floorboards and carpet put back, and room left clean and tidy. Competitive price. Highly recommended.

Luke carried out a selection of small domestic electrical jobs in my flat, including removing some hard-wired storage heaters, fitting new light fixtures and fitting an electric towel rail. He was easy to contact beforehand and arrived promptly on the day. The cost of the works matched the quote given beforehand. He did a good job and I would recommend him to anyone looking for an electrician in the area.

Just had a small job completed. Tried other electricians who were not interested. Luke replied quickly to my request and arrived punctually to carry out the job, which was done proficiently and all cleared up afterwards. Quick and efficient work, resolving a burnt out ceiling light fitting, relaxing relevant parts, making good someone else's previous "bodge" involving connecting wires. Arrived promptly, work completed quickly and to a high standard. All wire cuttings, etc, swept up at the end of the process, which I had been happy to do, but Mr Beech wouldn't hear of it! Second time we have used his services, and very happy each time - highly recommended.

Excellent electrician, always on time, always adheres to code which is very important to me.I trust his opinion and although I have only used him twice so far he would be the first person I'd call. Very fair pricing too.

We are fortunate and grateful to have known Luke Beech the incredibly knowledgeable and skilled Electrician via Which. The first time, we engaged Luke a few months ago after being let down by other tradesmen disappointedly unable to solve radiators/central heating trouble etc. Whenever we communicated with Luke mainly wanting his renovation was effectively carried out. Luke, the wise, sensible and superior communicator was dealing with our concerns this time due to no hot water part of the night. We appreciated his attention and time + + sorting out the problem. He carried out his experienced handling with the subsequent successful result which he reset the thermostat according to his findings of fault as below. The fault ( hot water immersion heaters replace 11" the thermostat on the 24/7 daytime side of the tank. Reprogram the controller and reset the thermostat. (Possible fault with the element he had to reset the thermostat to ensure Economy 7 working as it should. Luke the loyal, reliable, considerate and accountable professional has deserved our respect, praises and admiration of his patient and impressive performance, attitude and professional behaviour. We are already Luke's customer currently time but now forever instead.

Like updated some of the wiring in our house following a test. Reliable and good quality work. Happy with the service.

I had a light bought from a high street store but when they came round to install it there was an issue with the earth and they couldn't do it. Luke came round, but it in, fixed out the earth and checked the wiring in the whole house. There were a few quite tricky problems (victorian house so a bit of a mess) but he sorted it all, very reasonable and seemed like a decent bloke. I'd definitely recommend him.

Luke was very punctual. He diagnosed the problems quickly and gave us the estimate to replace four-night storage heaters within a couple of days. He ordered the parts needed and completed the job efficiently; left everything neat and tidy! Luke was friendly, professional and very helpful in finding someone to dispose of the old night storage heaters for us straight away. We highly recommend him and will definitely keep him in mind for any future work. Rating: five stars!

Luke was great, I highly recommend him. He came with no fuss the same day we called him and sorted the problem almost instantly. We'd had a disastrous visit from John Lewis the day before, which had left all the sockets in our kitchen broken. This had meant no appliances worked (and it was a couple of days before I was due to have a baby). Luke fixed everything, and left a new socket ready to take the new washing machine (that John Lewis had been supposed to install). He was good value and really unobtrusive, but absolutely saved our bacon!

Luke was prompt and responsive to my initial enquiries, including giving suggestions for products and an estimated timescale for the work broken down by each element of the job. Work was done to a high standard with minimal disruption and Luke cleared up as he worked and left the place tidy each day. The work I had done was replacing all socket covers and switches in a 3 bedroomed house, installation of an additional socket, replacement of all pendant fittings and light shades, and installation of external sensor lighting and lighting in the garage. Work was completed in the agreed timescale and the charging was transparent from the outset. Happy to recommend.

I recently used Luke to replace all the ceiling lights in my flat. I am very impressed with his service. We started communicating the project via emails during planning phase. Luke always came across as very professional, polite and thorough. He turned up to the site on time and completed the fittings within the timeframe he had advised. Luke came around to do some rewiring, and put them into the walls, he did a great job and recommended some simple solutions that saved time and money. I'd really recommend Luke.
