Contacted Luke knowing he had done other work in the locality, to replace existing bannister rails, handrails and spindles in light oak. Clad or replace all five newel posts. clad stringers in oak veneer and build out bottom step into a radius. He arrived promptly every day, and tidied everything before leaving. Luke does not do problems, only challenges and solutions. His joinery skills are superb. Highly recommended, and would definitely use again,

This is the fourth time Luke has done work for us. Fitted wardrobes including insulation in two bedrooms. Replaced all internal doors. Fitted skirting boards and architrave in hallway. Installed toilet and sink under stairs including full tiling and other little jobs. Luke was always punctual and carried out the work to a professional standard and provided solutions to any unforseen problems.

Kitchen worktops fitted and new oven and hob. Work was of a high standard and Mr varley was a very pleasant young man. After completion he took away all the old items and cleaned everything. Would definitely use him again.

Removal of floor to ceiling kitchen cupboard, installation of open kitchen shelving made from the timber of the removed cupboard. Luke has carried work for us on 3 occasions in recent years. He has always provided written quotes followed up by written invoices on completion of work. He is prompt, polite and considerate. He has an aptitude for finding solutions to difficult problems and has in the past made for us bespoke doors for non standard openings, and cupboards from scratch for awkward spaces. Luke is the first person we contact for any joinery work we are considering.

I?ve had Luke back for 3 jobs now, 1st one was a new oak staircase, 2nd one was to complete the stairs which included an hidden under stairs cupboard and Skirting boards, architraves and laminate flooring, 3rd is for boxing in radiators pipes skirting boards and architraves

Luke has previously replaced six downstairs doors for us and we were very pleased with his workmanship. So we were more than happy for him to undertake our latest project which involved :- (i) Replacing skirting boards in the dining and sitting rooms (ii) Replacing two window sills (iii) Designing and building new inset TV unit to replace existing freestanding unit and transferring TV, VCR, DVD, Virgin Media box and adapters to new unit (no mean task with the myriad cables) (iv) Constructing inset bookcase shelving. Once again we were more than happy with Luke's work.

Luke fitted our new Howdens kitchen as well as tiling walls & floors and did a brilliant job. We were provided with a reasonable price and all work was carried out a very high standard in a good timeframe. Luke had previously replaced our bannister and stair strings with oak and fitted wood flooring, skirting boards, doors and repaired floorboards for us, all at a good price and excellent service.
