We had five different boiler/heating companies out to look at our heating over a four-week period (no heating at all hot water was fine) none could find the issue. We were finally advised to contact LW Gas. Lee came out within 24 hours found the fault within minutes & repaired it. Lee was very professional, friendly & on the ball. Cannot recommend this company enough Excellent service.

We have dealt with this company for 15 years and have always been very satisfied. The recent work involved the installation of a combi boiler. The team of 3 turned up on time and worked very efficiently, each knowing their role. The work was completed in a very tidy and clean manner. Nothing was too much trouble. In an extensive work such as this inevitably there were some minor teething problems. These were resolved promptly and correctly.

LW Gas Limited are a company that works to the highest standards, earlier this installed a complete heating system and just recently came to check the system was working well and in addition replaced the toilet system. Lewis and the team that carried out the work were very helpful, polite and respectful. They arrived on time, and completed the installation ahead of time, leaving the areas clean and tidy. I was kept well informed by email beforehand, and was contacted a week before to confirm, and given the names of the engineers that would be carrying out the work. A detailed quote was provided offering a number of options discussed in person. The installation was carried out quickly and efficiently, and the resulting installation is much neater than the original boiler that was replaced. The work involved removal of a larger boiler, cutting out and replacing very messily installed previous pipe work, doing a power flush of the radiator pipe work, replacing all the radiator valves and lockshields, and installing and commissioning the new combination boiler. Two heating engineers came to carry out the work, which was all done with a minimum of fuss, and all scrap and waste was gone by the end of the day. I’m very happy with the work, and will be using LW Gas for annual service work.

The work carried out was to service a direct unvented electric water heater. Ken arrived at the scheduled time with two apprentices. The job was carried out in a professional manner, the team were also friendly, cheerful and tidy. It was discovered that a leaky valve needed replacing, this has been arranged for 11th September, I have been provided with an acceptable quote, it has also been agreed to service a gas fire on this visit.

Had an issue with my hot water and as it was late evening - sent email request to a few company. Liz from the office phoned first thing next day and Ken came at lunchtime. Really lovely guy and was very patience with my questions and understood concerns I had. Discussed benefits as to getting a new boiler rather than try and keep my 20+ year old boiler running. Didn’t feel pressured at all and gave me options. Great service from Lee in quoting and assisting with finance - again answering questions promptly. 3 weeks later - sent 2 of his team to install boiler. Both guys very friendly explaining what they needed to do and kept me informed. Did the work quickly and kept area clean and tidy. Took time to explain how to use the new boiler etc Will definitely use them for the annual services Highly recommend - top service from all involved.

LW Gas have serviced our boiler since they installed it 3 years ago. The named engineer arrived promptly at a prearranged time. He initially checked if we had experienced any problems with our heating system during the past year then conducted a thorough boiler service. He also checked our unvented cylinder and re-charged one of the system's expansion vessels that had lost a bit of pressure. The whole service ran smoothly and to schedule. The engineer was courteous and tidy throughout .

We have used LW Gas on a number of occasions after favourable comments from my Father-in-law; they installed a new boiler/radiators in 2022, and having had other contractors undertake similar work for us, would always use LW Gas,and often recommend them to friends. The work, conduct of the engineer and cleanliness is always exemplary. We never have a problem arranging a visit at a time convenient to us, and there are never problems if we need 'help' at short notice.

I have been a customer of LW Gas for more than 10 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. I've had a couple of boiler installations in that time (I moved house and both times needed a new boiler!). I've been very happy with the service over the years with new boilers, new radiators and boiler services. From office to engineer they are a great team! I get timely reminders each year for the boiler service, which was carried out recently. The engineers are all very friendly, clean and tidy and respectful of property and Sam and Liz who run the office are always so helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend LW Gas.

Really pleased with L W Gas. They done a boiler change for me recently. Lee Ward visited to complete a survey and a couple of weeks later, Lewis Ward visited to do the job. He brought an appentice with him and they were both very pleasent, friendy and very helpful. They just got on with the job. I left them too it and the job was completed without any problems at all. They explained everything and asked me if there were any questions etc. The whole job was carried out in a very proffesional way and they cleaned up, moved the rubbish and my kitchen was left very clean and tidy as though they had never been there. I would definately recommend L W Gas for any gas related work.

As usual, the LW Gas engineer turned up on schedule and carried out the service with the minimum of fuss. On arrival I pointed out the excessive noise coming from our airing cupboard, where the pump was fitted. On inspection, the engineer immediately turned the pump done by two levels and the problem was solved. We discussed the level the pump should operate at and he advised me to leave it at the lower setting and see how it performed, with a view to turning it up if the radiators failed to heat up properly. Good advice and there have been no problems with the radiators heating up so have left it at that level. This is the sort of thing LW Gas are very good at. The engineer explains things in layman's terms and they don't charge for it! We have been very satisfied with LW Gas since the original installation on 2021 and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for fairly-priced, professional job with a bit of good-hearted banter along the way. Looking forward to many more years' association with them.

Reliable timely attendance was supported by good communication reminders by the trader. During the service limescale build up and a small leak was identified on the hot water cylinder. Open flue Boiler replacement with Combi

Have used L W gas before for a boiler service and was very pleased with work so went back to them for another boiler service just before Christmas. Unfortunately boiler condemned but Lee attended next day to discuss options and quote for work which was planned at earliest opportunity and was reasonably priced. Following concerns about significant disruption from removing existing open flue boiler from house internal chimney and replacing underfloor pipe work to combi on outside wall, Lee proposed a solution which made fitting easier, achieved the aim and allayed my concerns. Due to other commitments L W gas already had, work couldn’t be started immediately and was planned 15th and 17th Jan. On both occasions team arrived prompt and were efficient and professional keeping me advised of any issues and suggesting solutions. Work was completed to a high standard 90% on first day and finished by 1230 pm on 17th with new system and controls being explained to me. Arrangements were also made for removed items and residue to be collected later that day which it was. A few days later a small weep was found on one radiator connection but this was rectified very quickly. Overall I found LW gas helpful, efficient and they kept me informed when they would be attending and how work was progressing. Very pleased and satisfied with whole process and would strongly recommend and use again.

Gas Boiler Service - always a 1st class service from start to finish. L W Gas always send a reminder email each year to arrange the annual boiler service. Their engineers are knowledgeable, tidy and respectful. Should an issue arise l have always found them quick to respond and communication links are always good.

Contacted supplier had a call back within a hour quote sent to me contacted supplier to say I was happy with price knew that I had no heating or hot water.Came back with a day and time,turned up 3 days later Carried out removing and fitting the new boiler all done by 3pm.Explained how boiler worked went round checking radiators talked me through new thermostat.left said that old boiler and rubbish would be removed by 5pm same day and it was even rang to make sure it had been collected

I have used this company for several years since they installed a new gas boiler and they have also undertaken the yearly servicing. The engineers have always arrived on time and their work has been to a high standard. They have been polite, worked quickly, answered any questions I may have asked and they have always cleared up afterwards. In December last year in the very cold spell the boiler ceased working and there was a smell of burning. On the morning of the proposed visit the engineer phoned for more details, and anticipating the cause, came prepared. He replaced the fan but it had blown the fuse and the circuit board. Whilst he continued with his other scheduled visits, the company sought to source a new circuit board. During the day I received phone calls from the office advising me of progress and late afternoon the circuit board was delivered to our home. Shortly after, the engineer, having finished his other visits, travelled some considerable distance and came back here and fitted the board and heat was restored. He commented that he could not leave us for another night without any heat. His consideration for a couple of pensioners was much appreciated and a great reflection on the company. That is why I will continue to use this company.

We had the guys from LW Gas fit a new boiler and a couple of radiators just over a year ago, and in the middle of the heatwave of 2022 They were so polite and professional. They did a fantastic job, working through the heat in the smallest cupboard in the bathroom - I don’t even know how they did it, I would’ve melted!! Everything was finished to a great standard. They left the area tidy and clean and we were really pleased with their work. A year on, we’ve just had them back out for the boiler service and we were equally impressed with them. Punctual and polite. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them - very reliable and trustworthy

Have been using this company for many years, both for our own house, plus family members properties. They are always helpful and quick to respond. Also they give a half hour "window" of time when the engineer will call, which means you don't have to wait in for hours with just a morning or afternoon slot. Will always explain why a replacement part is required and will tell you the approximate cost of it at the same time. Quite honestly, I can't fault them.

LW Gas were wonderfully helpful, re-locating my new boiler to the loft so I now have an extra kitchen cupboard. And relocating new thermostats in airing cupboard so now easy to see. All rubbish removed & everything left very clean & tidy. They turned up on time, well early, & they finished the job in a day. They were courteous & very tidy workmen. All my interactions with LW Gas was a positive experience, office staff were helpful too. I would definitely use them again. I am one very happy customer.

Needed to have a gas boiler service on a property just purchased. LW Gas Ltd were friendly and informative from the very start. Got an appointment date and time convenient for me, as not currently living in the property. Matt arrived on time and carried out the required work thoroughly and with ease. He was friendly and knowledgeable and showed me how to set the heating easily. He noticed a small leak on the boiler and changed the washer at no extra cost. Will be using LW Gas Ltd for all my regular services and any problems in-between. Would highly recommend.

The boiler failed to fire first thing in the morning resulting in no heating or hot water. Called L&W around 8.30 who said that they we would review their work program for the day and called me back. After 15 mins Lee the boss called me back to obtain some more detail of the failure and the system and told me that they would have somebody with me by 11.00 am. The technician arrived on time and after some initial analysis identified the problem as a faulty solenoid valve which happily he carried as a spare in the van. The replacement valve was quickly installed and the system restarted.

New boiler was fitted in less than a day, two weeks after the quote, very efficient fitters, clean and tidy, they found a small leak and a blockage in my airing cupboard, which they fixed, very pleased with the finished result, they also put new adjustable valves on all radiators, I would certainly have them again.

Amazing team, First we had the whole system checked by Lee's team, at another visit Lee himself came and gave us advice about improving our heating and hot water system and gave us outstanding cost for the whole service. During the boiler replacement LW GAS's team were extremely careful clean and thorough during the whole process. They have completed the task quite efficiently and our home is now much more modern with the remote smart controlling system by Bosch. The water in the shower is much softer and pleasant. It was a true pleasure and ease dealing with LW GAS, highly recommend them to everyone.

They first installed a new boiler for me in 2007 and I have used them ever since for all central heating, water or gas problems. LW Gas completed a full rip out and install of a new heating and hot water system. From start to finish we were really happy with the service, great communication, tidy work and brilliant immediate aftercare. The team ripped out our dated tank system and replaced with a relocated combi boiler over two days. Dealt with any unexpected issues efficiently and have delivered an amazing result which gives us more space and much more powerful showers. After care has been really good so far. Exceptionally helpful in planning the visit and taking extra care during the visit, due to member of the household being Immunosuppressed. This at a time when government and some companies have relaxed Covid19 safety requirements. Appointment was made on a day and at time to suit me. This was confirmed by email and a reminder sent the day before. Arrived on time, servicing the boiler and lounge gas fire was carried out in a systematic way, and he also flushed out Magna Clean unit and the engineer cleaned up afterwards. The actual cost was as agreed in advance.

I have been an LW Gas customer since 2011 and can only praise and recommend them for all plumbing, heating and gas service requirements. Our experience of them over the years has been one of reliability, courteousness and excellent service. They have a good team of full time qualified engineers and technicians who are able to respond to customer needs from annual services, installation to breakdowns. Moreover, they have sufficient flexibility allowing them to react to breakdowns without significant delay, which sometimes can be lacking with other companies. I highly recommended them!

They were also on hand when our boiler broke down over one Christmas period. Have had 2 boilers installed over these years, new radiators, disconnecting gas fire and yearly servicing. We had our boiler fitted and radiators changed about 15 years ago by LW Gas and since then they have maintained and repaired the whole system. During the initial fitting and during the subsequent 15 years they have provided excellent service. They are courteous and efficient and have responded very promptly when we needed emergency help. LW Gas stepped in to reconnect a gas cooker following a gas escape. British Gas quoted a December timescale and other providers were two or more weeks for an appointment. Thanks to LW Gas the problem was sorted in a few days.

An appointment was made with Lee Ward of L W Gas Ltd, who was extremely professional and knowledgeable. We needed a new central heating boiler, a new toilet system, new bathroom radiator and another radiator that needed rehanging and fixing. Lee helped us with exactly what type of new boiler we should have, and left us with a brochure of the boiler that we chose. We received a full quotation from Lee the next day, (which was exactly the price we paid.) Everything was explained perfectly. We booked the appointment and was given the time and day that the work would be completed on. We had two fantastic professional gas fitters that worked together, this was brilliant as instead of taking two days to complete the work, it was done in just one day. Steve and Mike turned up exactly the time they said they would, and I can honestly say that I have never experienced such fantastic workers, in their work skills, professionalism, cleanliness and consideration. They never stopped. The standard of their workmanship was superb. I am absolutely delighted with everything that this company has done . When I contacted the office to pay, I spoke to a very friendly helpful lady called Philomena. I even had a follow up call a few days later. I would highly recommends this fast efficient company with first class workers. I have never been so impressed with a company before. They were very competitive, but achieved what everyone wants, a hassle free 1st class service. Thank you.

My boiler broke down after a leak on Wednesday, I called them on Thursday. Lee visited on Friday to give me a quote and the work was done on Tuesday. Was apprehensive at first at having a underseen pipe. After the work was done, I was absolutely amazed at how neatly the pipe was put. Generally, brilliant service and efficient work. LW Gas was efficient and reliable to service my gas boiler even though it was on older one. They did not try to persuade me to replace it. I then asked about replacement for future and they were very honest, the only thing I would gain would be efficiency and economy, but there was no pressure and I will consider in future. They arrived early, but stayed in van until I said they could start job early (first job of day). They checked my CO alarms, and as one was not working, I asked them to replace them but in hindsight they were expensive replacements. Boiler service was fair price.

Slightly later review than planned but wanted to let the system settle in before rushing in with a review. Work carried out late December 2016. Lee was great to deal with from the very first email, we needed a new boiler in a 3 storey town house. Lee checked through the house came up with suggestions listened to our concerns and what we thought we might need and advised us accordingly. Before we had said yes to the quote we had an unexpected leak which Lee sorted the same day, we were sold in that instant! He is very passionate about his work and you can tell he expects the same from his staff. Everything went according to plan the Worcester boiler is fantastic and far superior than the old one just as Lee had promised. Also had a new towel rail added. The two chaps and apprentice were very helpful courteous etc put covers down everywhere we can not fault them, highly recommended, they have to be on your short list and no pushy sales tactics just an honest service from a company that seems to keep its promises. If your not sure like we were I can only say email or call Lee you will not be disappointed.

I left a request for an annual service and safety certificate by email on the Saturday and first thing Monday they contacted me to apologise for not getting back to me sooner! They were able to fit me in on a day and at a time to suit me but emphasised that if I had a problem they would do their utmost to fit me in sooner. On the agreed day they rang to tell me they were running ahead of time and would it be okay if they could call sooner - which it was. On arrival their polite and courteous engineer quickly set to his tasks and was happy to remove his footwear before going upstairs on our light carpet! He diagnosed and fixed a problem and suggested ways of better operating our gas water heating. All in all a great service from a company that seems to really want to leave customers feeling happy. We didn't get alternative quotes so cannot really say if the service was value for money but had no complaints.

I've used LW Gas for the past several years, since they replaced our boiler. They've done various work for us and always been friendly and polite and helpful. The occasional human error has been swiftly sorted and I've always been impressed with the service received. They've been happy to advise over the phone on a few occasions to help me resolve issues myself without a callout. Very genuine, honest folk. Recommend unreservedly.
