M.A.G Plasterwork Specialist Ltd

I have been using M.A.G plasterwork to undertake all my plastering jobs for the past 6 years. The most recent job was completed to a very good standard. The area was also left very clean and tidy so I am very pleased. I have recommended M.A.G to friends and family and will continue to do so.

Mark was quick to respond to my enquiry for a quote, and was quick to arrange a date to do the work. It was all done in one day, and to the agreed budget. Mark kept me informed about what he and his team was doing, and they cleaned up afterwards. I'm really pleased with the finished plastering, and would definately recommend Mark.

Mark did an excellent job plastering a wall, replacing some rusted corner fixings , and filling in bigger holes left by some recent electrical work. Communication before the job (quoting, confirming times, reminders etc) was all very good - quick responses every time. Very nice chap too - friendly and informative! Highly recommend.

Mark plastered our lounge walls and we are very pleased with the standard of the finished work. The work was completed on time and to the agreed quote. Plenty of protection, sheeting, etc. Mark is very direct but always cheerful, polite, and helpful, with positive suggestions. Would use again.

We contracted Mark and his team to do extensive plasterwork to our hallway, up the stairs and the landing. (We found him through the Which? Trusted Traders page). He also re boarded and plastered the hallway ceiling. Work to rectify shoddy plasterwork done by our previous builder was also carried out by Mark. They worked efficiently and did a great job. They were polite and cleared up afterwards. He gave a reasonable quote and stayed within budget. We will use him again and would recommend him.

Through a recommendation from a friend who lives nearby, we found Mark and his team to do our small bedroom and hallway this past month. Mark did an excellent job considering the bad state of our walls - we live in a 1930s flat which had woodchip wallpaper on, not decorated in many years and awful walls. Mark and his team were very polite and kept noise to a minimum which was much appreciated considering my partner and myself work from home. I would highly recommend using M.A.G for any plastering/skimming work you need doing. Very reasonable price and an excellent service.

When our large bedroom ceiling (circa1896) suddenly fell we were very lucky to find Mark and his team through Which. He came and quoted for a full new ceiling very quickly at a fair price. All the team were friendly and worked as cleanly as possible and even got rid of the old plaster. Victor removed the old ceiling on the first day and the wholeteam returned on the 31st.Oct and boarded and replastered. Can recommend M.A.G. for any plastering work and would use them again. Really pleased with the work done which was very skilled. Great communication and really friendly people.

Mark replastered three stipple walls and ceilings in my home, alongside replastering around my front door and windows where they’d been replaced. Work took place in November 2022. In summary, I am extremely pleased with the work. It has been completed to a very high standard - especially around the front door where the ‘bay’ shape made the angles very complex. Mark and his colleague were quiet and polite, I was able to continue working from home for the two days while the work was done. They were also as tidy as one can be when plastering - they laid out sheets to protect my floor even when I told them not to worry. I got quotes from two other plasters and while Marks wasn’t the cheapest of the three, I felt he was more honest and open about the work and the cost - there was no pitching at me, just honesty. I’ll have no hesitation calling Mark again in future - I am extremely happy with the work that’s been done.
