Mark responded quickly to my enquiry and quoted an extremely competitive price for a small job. He started work the following day, arrived when he said he would arrive, was pleasant and completed the work quickly and to our complete satisfaction. He was clearly very skilful and took great pride in his work.

Mark was great throughout the job, kept to the timeframe he gave, showed up early every day and was respectful to our space. He kept in communication with us the whole time and talked through any changes before doing them. Great finish to the work and would recommend him to anybody. Even when there was a minor spillage to our carpet, he arranged for the carpet to be cleaned (without us even asking for this) and got it all sorted and carpets now cleaner than ever. We contracted Mark and his team to do extensive plasterwork to our hallway, up the stairs and the landing. (We found him through the Which? Trusted Traders page). He also re boarded and plastered the hallway ceiling. Work to rectify shoddy plasterwork done by our previous builder was also carried out by Mark. They worked efficiently and did a great job. They were polite and cleared up afterwards. He gave a reasonable quote and stayed within budget. We will use him again and would recommend him.

Through a recommendation from a friend who lives nearby, we found Mark and his team to do our small bedroom and hallway this past month. Mark did an excellent job considering the bad state of our walls - we live in a 1930s flat which had woodchip wallpaper on, not decorated in many years and awful walls. Mark and his team were very polite and kept noise to a minimum which was much appreciated considering my partner and myself work from home. I would highly recommend using M.A.G for any plastering/skimming work you need doing. Very reasonable price and an excellent service.

When our large bedroom ceiling (circa1896) suddenly fell we were very lucky to find Mark and his team through Which. He came and quoted for a full new ceiling very quickly at a fair price. All the team were friendly and worked as cleanly as possible and even got rid of the old plaster. Victor removed the old ceiling on the first day and the wholeteam returned on the 31st.Oct and boarded and replastered. Can recommend M.A.G. for any plastering work and would use them again. Really pleased with the work done which was very skilled. Great communication and really friendly people.

Mark replastered three stipple walls and ceilings in my home, alongside replastering around my front door and windows where they’d been replaced. Work took place in November 2022. In summary, I am extremely pleased with the work. It has been completed to a very high standard - especially around the front door where the ‘bay’ shape made the angles very complex. Mark and his colleague were quiet and polite, I was able to continue working from home for the two days while the work was done. They were also as tidy as one can be when plastering - they laid out sheets to protect my floor even when I told them not to worry. I got quotes from two other plasters and while Marks wasn’t the cheapest of the three, I felt he was more honest and open about the work and the cost - there was no pitching at me, just honesty. I’ll have no hesitation calling Mark again in future - I am extremely happy with the work that’s been done.

Mark and his team arrived on time and completed the work to schedule and to a high standard and were always professional in their work. I decided to obtain a quote from MAG Plaster work after reading other reviews on Which Trusted Trader. The quote, which included labour and materials we felt was reasonable given the awkwardness of the job due to the elevation and size of walls and height of the ceiling in the hallway. The job took two days due to aforementioned reasons. MAG provided an excellent service. This includes responding to e-mails, Mark and his team arriving on time, looking after the property during the work and most importantly quality of the plastering which I cannot fault. Mark also completed an unscheduled small amount of plastering in my kitchen which was not included in the original scope of works at no additional charge. Finding good Tradesmen can be difficult but based on my experience, Mark and MAG Plasterwork will be first on my list for a quote for any future plastering in my property.

Mark and team turned up bang on time and immediately set about protecting the property before starting work, completed the ceiling plastering to a really nice finish and were very friendly throughout. Would absolutely use again!

Mark and his team did an amazing job of replacing three old lath and plaster ceilings in our upstairs rooms. Dust sheets and drapes were set up and the many bags of rubble removed promptly. The fellas worked really hard and the resulting plasterwork is beautiful and finished to a very high standard. We have had a poor ceiling which we have lived with a number of years. I sent Mark an email requesting an estimate on Tuesday 30 July and he came to see us later in the day and we were pleased with quote and he planned to do the work two days later early in the morning. Mark actually started the job earlier than planned, he had phoned in advance. Our job was completed in three hours by Mark and his colleague Howard. They left the place tidy as they had used plastic sheeting to cover the carpet and they swept up before they departed. We were pleased with the professional job.

Mark completed a morning job at the house to plaster skim my kitchen ceiling and repair some pebble-dash to the front of the house. Mark was very punctual, worked swiftly, professionally and cleaned up once the job was done. I would highly recommend.

The work consisted of removal of paint from existing plinth at front of house and reinstatement of the plinth in sand and cement rendering. In addition, areas of cracked pebbledashing were repaired. The front elevation of the house has been transformed for the good by the work. Mark and his colleagues were a pleasure to deal with. MAG plastering work carried out at my home was excellent. From my initial enquiry to agreeing to the date of work and price. The work was carried out in a very professional way, from preparing the carpets from any dust/debris together with preparing the plaster and carrying up stairs to the bathroom. To be honest with you they were so quiet you would not have realised they doing this, also the confined space of the bathroom. On completion of the work I was asked to view the plastering and could not believe what a good finish, also how the room was cleaned on completion. I would therefore have no hesitation in recommending this company, real tradesmen at their best.

This is my third rewiew about MAG Plastering because Mark did such an exceptional job for us I can't recommend or thank him enough. Mark's work ethic is just admirable. Mark and his team did a amazing job. They re-skimmed our living room and 3 feature walls which were previously wallpapered and we found the walls needed repairing. They also removed 4 embedded ceiling speakers and filled and re-skimmed a number of other large holes. All work was done to a high standard, at the agreed reasonable price. Will definitely use again for further work.

I had numerous cracks in my walls which I asked Mark to come and have a look at. Mark arrived on time to give his quote and was very helpful in fitting around my requirements/timeframes to complete the job. He gave me good advice on how best to deal with the cracks which ended up being less costly and intrusive for me. He and his guys were were professional and friendly. They were careful to cover our floor and respect our home. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Part of a ceiling of two sections divided by a beam and over a stairwell had partly collapsed and the remainder looked suspect. Mark Green came promptly to view the site, estimate the cost and time the work would take and gave advice on remedial options. His manner was amiable and inspired confidence. After getting other quotes I selected him. He and his assistant arrived on time, took care over setting up dust sheets and protection, removed and cleared damaged plaster and installed a new ceiling within the time estimated. After removing ceiling tiles, the section on the other side of the beam Mark found to be sound and only required a coat of plaster. He reduced the price of the job accordingly. I'd certainly make use of his services again if the need arose

MAG plasterwork were excellent. They are all hard working chaps and did a great job for my family home, the rendering and plasterwork are finished to a very high standard. Mark and his partner came on the 26th January 2018 to skim a large bedroom ceiling and bathroom ceiling. The work was of a high standard with a professional finish and reasonably priced. I would definitely use him again.
