M & T Bathroom and Kitchen Installations

I could write a book of horror stories of previous workmen undertaking jobs in my home. A (now) elderly woman living alone, very few jobs ended well….. I turned to WTT for Traders again for a major bathroom refit. Mark arrived in April 2025 and took a look, quoted me for labour, including supplying an electrician and a painter. I felt he knew exactly what he was talking about, and agreed to employ him. He was so busy he couldn’t start ‘til November. Thankfully, Mark and his son, Matt, were able to start 2 weeks early. Their great professionalism, tidiness, honesty and workmanship has been an entirely new experience for me. I have felt completely at ease with them and wish I’d found them 20 years ago! Each time a problem arose (eg, bathroom floor joists only 4” deep instead of 7” so insufficient drop for drainage from floor-fitted shower….) Mark and Matt would find the solution. They then discussed it with me prior to carrying out the slightly different work. I was flabbergasted and not a little impressed that they involved me every step of the way. The work they've carried out is excellent and finished to a very high standard. They were careful and precise with everything they did. The electrician (Paul) and the painter (Darren) they recommended are from the same mould. What a nice bunch of people who I felt completely at ease with and whose work was of the same high standard - esp. being an old girl living alone. All finished on time & on budget too. Thank you.

I would highly recommend Mark, Matt and his team 100%. I was very apprehensive about replacing my bathroom of 20 years. Having had other tradesmen coming to quote - I was not confident in them. That is why it took me almost 2 years to find someone I could feel confident enough in to do the job. I found M&T bathrooms on 'Which best fitters'. Mark came to quote and I felt reassured that I had found the right man for the job. I gave Mark the job and instantly knew I had chosen the right team. Mark was extremely punctual. He took immense care in protecting the rest of the house and cleaned up diligently every evening before going home . Mark's work was exceptional and his attention to detail was impeccable. Matt was also brilliant. Nothing was ever too much trouble. I have another job to refurbish my ensuite and cloakroom. With no hesitation I will offer the job to Mark and his team.

Mark and Matt did a wonderful job. My wife and I needed to get our en suite bathroom redone after an ongoing leak and other needed repairs meant that a complete overhaul was required. We selected Mark based on the reviews here on which, and we are very glad that we did. The communication was clear and concise. The quote was accurate, the requirements clear. A member of our household has special needs, and Mark and Matt were very kind and considerate regarding this. The work they did was professional, and to the agreed timeline. They were also extraordinarily clean. A great deal of care was taken to clean up after themselves each day. The area they used each day was left spotless. Once work had begun, they noticed aspects of the space that could be taken advantage of and offered to create a cubby hole for shower gels, shampoos etc in the shower cubicle. This extra work made a good job great and we love what they did with the space. They were kind enough to point out likely errors with some of the supplies we had sourced - things we hadn't noticed upon receipt. They arranged the exchange and swaps with the suppliers and sorted it all on our behalf. We really appreciated their help and their hard work, and we fully recommend them. They are very good at what they do. Should further work in our property be required in the future, we wouldn't hesitate to use them.

I originally contacted Mark for a quote, and he gave very fair advice, which saved me money. His refurb was excellent. On a later separate matter, Mark remedied a hot water flow problem - excellent work at a good price. Thank you.

From start to finish M&T exceeded expectations, fast response to query, no obligation quote, began works ahead of schedule and completed ahead of schedule, incredibly helpful and gave me lots of much needed advice regarding renovation. The finished project looks impeccable, thanks to m&t we've achieved a high end look on a tight budget. I will definitely be using them when it’s time for kitchen renovation as well! Now, I’m delighted to add my own 5-star review for the fantastic work that Mark and his son, Matt, completed for me. The job involved fitting new kitchen appliances, a sink and tap, new cabinet handles, and worktops. They also removed the existing metro tiles and replaced them with a matching backboard. The entire project was completed in just three days, and I couldn’t be happier with the result—it truly feels like I have a brand-new kitchen! Mark is incredibly solution-oriented and had some great suggestions that really enhanced the space. His customer-first approach was evident throughout, and it was an absolute pleasure having both Mark and Matt working in our home. They were professional, efficient, and left everything tidy, clearing all rubbish daily and arranging collection for the old appliances. The price was very reasonable, and I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a kitchen refurbishment or any other work.

Mark and son Matt completely re-did my kitchen. This included stripping everything out and installing new appliances, units, granite worktop and flooring. This was achieved in 2 weeks despite the team having to overcome issues created by Howdens. They were meticulous in ensuring everything was just right and a really nice team to have working in my house. I would definitely use them again.

Mark is such a lovely and professional person. He arrived at 8 am both times he came to do our downstairs toilet. Mark did all the tiles, grouting and added a new sink and toilet too! He gave great advice and additional help with other bits within the downstairs toilet area - would highly recommend and will definitely have him back to do our bathroom!

Mark attended as arranged to advise and provide an estimate to renew the shower sealant. His son Matt came as planned, and did a pristine job of removing old sealant and mould. Treated the surfaces, then applied new. Prompt and punctual, efficient, professional people. Highly recommended.

This is the second time we have used Mark, this time for our bathroom refurbishment. As usual Mark, and this time with his son Matt, arrived at 8.00am on the dot every day. They ripped the bathroom out as we were having a complete reconfiguration to remove the bath and replace this with a walk in shower. Their work was second to none, good communication with regards to what we wanted and making suggestions. Mark has an electrician friend, Paul, who again gives you his advice regarding lighting. We are more than delighted with the result. They always cleared up at the finish of the day’s work, they are both easygoing so are easy to talk to. The quote was very reasonable. We would definitely recommend their work.

No need to look any further, Mark and Matt at M&T Bathroom & Kitchen Installations are fantastic. They refurbished the bathroom in our cottage completely and the work was done to the highest standards, so neat - we could not be more pleased. Mark gave sound advice to improve our water pressure and design advice to make the best use of the space in our small bathroom. They went the extra mile when they found the design/layout of our previous pipework wasn't optimal. They noticed a problem and without being asked, resolved it, where many others may have pretended not to see the issue. It is so daunting to have works done, but honestly, you are in good hands. Communication, transparency in costing, expertise, respect while in our home, and workmanship was all 10 out of 10.

We have just had our family bathroom renovated by Mark and cannot speak highly enough of the work that has been carried out. We came across Mark via the Which Trusted Traders site and after seeing the excellent reviews he already had asked him to come and give us a quote. He arrived at the time he said he would and we had a good chat to work out exactly what we were after. Mark had a waiting list which we deemed a good thing and was communicated from the outset. Mark and team, including his son Matt, arrived every day on time at 08:00 and got straight into it. The old bathroom was completely removed in quick time and throughout the 9 days it took him we have had a completely new bathroom put in including plastering, tiling, new lights, extractor fan, water pump and radiator. All work has been carried out to the very highest standards. We found Mark to be both clean and tidy (no mess left at the end of the day), especially helpful with a very inquisitive 3 year old who wants to see what's going on, and would diligently sweep and hoover after every day's work. Mark would also ensure we were consulted on all aspects of the refit, from positioning of items, to further suggestions on improvements which could be made throughout the 9 days. We will be getting Mark back in the future to refit our kitchen and cannot recommend him highly enough.

We have just had our full kitchen refit completed by Mark . Service and quality of work throughout have been faultless. Mark was highly recommended to me by a neighbour who had previously had work completed by him. From inital contact Marks communication has been fantastic. Immediate response to my first email followed by a call and visit to look at the work quickly and exactly when he said he would. Started work on the date agreed and has done a top job. Easy to talk to Mark about exactly what we wanted and even when we made a few changes to things we wanted it was not a problem. The kitchen has turned out exactly how we wanted it , Mark was a pleasure to have in the house and quality of work and finish excellent. Will be rebooking for our Bathroom refit.

Mark recently renovated our family bathroom and we’re incredibly happy with his workmanship and the finished result. He’s hardworking, with a great attention to detail and he works quickly and efficiently. Mark did a great job replacing our worktops in the kitchen and moving the kitchen sink. His work is top-notch, clean and tidy. He gave us really helpful ideas on where to move the sink and what would work from a practical perspective. This is the 2nd time we have used Mark as he has previously re-done 2 bathrooms for us. We needed two bathrooms refitting and struggled to find someone who was reliable and could offer advice and support. We found Mark on Trustedtraders and asked him to give us a quote. He responded quickly and met us to discuss our project. It was clear from the start that Mark was both knowledgeable and helpful and suggested things we had simply not considered - just what we needed. His quote was comprehensive and reasonable considering the work involved. We agreed to proceed. Mark had a waiting list (which we saw as a very good sign) and we agreed a date for the work to start. We were kept fully advised on where we were on the list - and Mark started work on the date he had said from the start. Mark works extremely hard, is very helpful and discusses any issues/decisions that need to be made in an open and informative way - his advice was invaluable. Mark was reliable and arrived every day on time and simply got on with the job. If you are looking for the cheapest quote and someone who can start tomorrow then Mark is probably not going to fit that bill - but if you are looking for a high quality, reliable and well crafted job then we would highly recommend Mark and his services. Mark refitted our bathroom recently, taking out the old suite, removing tiles, re-plastering walls and ceiling, fitting new lights, re-tiling and fitting new bath suite. From our first enquiry we found Mark to be very helpful, reliable, honest and always quick to reply to queries. We are delighted with our new bathroom and with the helpful suggestions Mark made along the way - often things we hadn't even thought about. Mark is very conscientious and clearly works hard to provide the best solutions at all times. We highly recommend him.

Mark completed a refit of our bathroom. He was helpful in the planning and sourcing the fittings. All the work was done within the agreed timeframe and budget. Mark was endlessly helpful and pleasant to have around and we would not hesitate to recommend him.

Mark fitted out kitchen early part of the year and we were so happy (that's an understatement - I think ecstatic is probably better) with his work and skill that we joined the Bathroom refit queue. Our bathroom had only been completed six years ago, but we were never happy with it and once we'd seen how Mark could 'make the dream' happen, we were eager to 'right all the wrongs' in situ. To give us more space, Mark suggested changing out the bath for a shower unit, swinging the location of the sink around as well as a few other things besides. As usual, Mark was on time (8am - have the kettle on) and literally got straight on with taking out the old units. Mark checks in with you along the way and offers solutions or changes which he thinks may be beneficial to maximise the impact of your new space. When presented with a challenge (we had this with our bathroom floor courtesy of previous work), he doesn't just go ahead and do 'any old thing' he works through to find the best way to address and remedy. His workspace is always tidy and he never leaves a mess. We are over the moon with the bathroom, so much so we just want to go and look at it all the time.

I was let down by another bathroom fitter after waiting 6 months. I called Mark and he managed to squeeze me in within a couple of months - Result! Mark was brilliant from start to finish! On time every day without fail and worked at an extremely high standard at an impressive speed! The job was completed within 10 days (8 working days) which is amazing as it was the only bathroom in the house. I was over the moon with the finished product and would recommend Mark to everyone! Although Mark is very busy he is 100% worth the wait!

Mark installed a completely new bathroom and made alterations to fittings in our bedroom. Work started on the date agreed and all went to plan. Mark is an outstanding professional whose work is exceptional. He listens to the client's needs and offers appropriate advice to secure the optimum result. Nothing is too much trouble in the pursuit of perfection - and that is what he achieves. Not surprisingly, you have to book well ahead if you want Mark to undertake the work. It is difficult to improve on his exemplary record of reviews and recommendations, but in addition to his faultless work, he is very personable and good to have around the home.

Mark has just finished installing a new main bathroom and en-suite room. Have been super impressed throughout. Great communication, kept us informed throughout, always arrived on time, was really clean and tidy, and made sure when left every day everything was tidied up. Standard of work was outstanding. Mark was a pleasure to have around and cannot recommend him enough. Worth the wait.
