Mike was really helpful from day one when he visited to explain the process with us. MJ Wallace was one of three companies we approached and the response we got from Mike was really positive and assuring. Prior to deciding to appoint M J Wallace, we had a number of questions and queries, and Mike answered these promptly and clearly, in terms that were easily understandable. He came up with some valuable suggestions and recommendations, showing a genuine interest to ensure we were provided with a product that met our needs. The whole project could not really have gone more smoothly, with the timetable running exactly as planned. I used MJ Wallace to install ten solar panels and a battery on my property in Shrewsbury. I found them very good value, efficient and good at communication. I would highly recommend them for this or any other electrical work.

Mike has just installed 18 solar panels and 3 batteries for us. From the very first contact, Mike was proactive in detailing estimates, explained everything and answered our questions. He followed up with the proposal and on receipt of the nominal deposit applied for the relevant permissions. On the day of installation Mike and his team, John and Alfie, turned up at the specified time, made sure we understood what was going to happen and promptly got to work. Their work ethics were impressive, they worked hard, appreciated the occasional cup of tea, kept us updated explaining every stage of the installation and left the place immaculate, inside and out. Once completed everything was carefully explained from the various bits of equipment in the garage to downloading/how to use the app and what it all meant. I was pleasantly surprised when Mike said that he continues to monitor the equipment. Mike is very personable, he expects and achieves high standards of workmanship and respectful interactions with everyone. It's obvious that his team are dependable and work well together, they were a pleasure to have around for the day

M J Wallace were engaged to remove old halogen floodlights and reposition new LED lamps at a more accessible location. In addition, the consumer board was replaced and an additional twin socket fitted. From quotation to completion, Mike was very professional in the work that he and his team carried out. Excellent work.

Mike promptly gave me a good price for solar panel installation, estimating installation realistically on basis of availability of components. In fact, he installed panels and battery well ahead of schedule, having tailored the system to our specific requirements - and saving some money on the way. Mike and his team were great to have around the house and found ways to minimise disruption while they got on with their work. I was pleased to have them back to replace our kitchen lighting which they fitted in during the week before Christmas. Mike has patiently answered my queries about making the most of the system and I appreciate his fair approach to pricing.

Fantastic service once again from Mike and his team. When the initial enquiry was submitted, Mike managed to attend the same evening and the quote was provided in writing within hours. Mike was very helpful with guidance on how the job would be completed and provided plenty of options including colouring of the charging unit to suit the property. We was let down by our electrician the day they were meant to complete, I spoke to Mike and he was out to our house within 15 minutes to take a look and give us a quote. Him and his team started work that Monday (only 2 days after quoting) and completed the rest of the work as well as fixing all the mess and faulty electrics that our previous electrician had caused. Very reasonably priced, fast workers, punctual, very friendly and also respectful of our house and belongings by covering our things and leaving the house spotless. Having previously been through a full house rewire I was aware of how difficult, time consuming and messy the job would likely be but Mike and team made it anything but that. From the start of the process, during the visit to survey the requirements to provide a quote Mike was amazing, I had a pretty clear idea of what I wanted but some changes were suggested as we walked through the rooms that certainly made sense and made things far better. The quote specced out everything so it was very clear to both parties what was in and out of scope, making things a lot easier as the job progressed. The team turned up as agreed and exactly on time and worked very diligently through every day, also making accommodation for me having to work and live in the house through out the whole process. They were also super clean, considering the amount of holes and channelling that was required in each room, it was honestly left cleaner at the end of each day than when they started the work. I was kept informed as to the progress and, as my wife and child needed to move back into the house, they made special effort, working later and removing tools on a Saturday morning so that that could happen. I cannot recommend Mike and his team Alex, Jon and Matt enough for any job you have small or large and I will certainly always turn to them for any future work I have.

Mike conducted electrical repairs in our house which were identified during an Electrical Installation Condition Report we had carried out before selling the house. The repairs were carried out at short notice, on a Saturday, and for around half the cost of a quote we received from a different electrician. Everything was left tidy by Mike afterwards and he even had time to answer some questions and provide advice about some other electrical works. I would definitely recommend Mike for any domestic or commercial electrical work.

Mike was excellent in carrying out a safety inspection - clearly and thoroughly explaining what remedial work was needed. When discussing the requirements for the work, he made detailed notes regarding where we wanted sockets/lights placed. When actually carrying out the remedial work Mike and his team were pleasant, respected our home and cleaned all the work areas so as not to leave a trace. I can't recommend these fellows highly enough - thank you very much gents!

I can not fault Mike & his team. From the start they have been professional and helpful with detailed quotes, friendly attitude and easily contactable. They were understanding and flexible with our timescale needs despite us adding extra work that wasn't on our first quote. They respected our house whilst they were working there and left it in a tidy state when they left. We picked Mikes company from the 'Which Trusted Traders' list, after having 2 other electricians quote to replace and move our consumer box and install electrics into our shed, along with 2 outside power points. The difference was easy to spot from the second he walked through the door, he inspected existing power points and was very honest with his advice and the amount of work that needed to be carried out. Written, detailed quote was provided with clear costings, which we happily accepted. The work was carried out with minimum disruption to us or our large fish tank and was of an excellent standard. All mess was cleared away and everything left clean and tidy. I would recommend Mike and his company to anyone and we will be using them again in the New Year when we have our kitchen updated.

When I contacted Mike, after seeing the great reviews from other customers, he agreed to help me at short notice and at a time to fit in with my work. He is extremely knowledgeable and instills confidence in you that he will do a good job. Today he installed a new fuse board and cooker circuit, connected the cooker, and completed an electrical condition report. The work was completed to an extremely high standard and everywhere was left clean and tidy. Within a couple of hours of him leaving I had received a domestic electrical installation certificate, and a building regulations certificate of compliance. I initially sourced Mike for a small electrical job through trust a trader before choosing Mike to complete a full house rewire. On both occasions Mike has shown himself to be a genuine, trustworthy and honest individual who prides himself in his attention to deal. We were very impressed on Mike's first visit when he carefully explained what the work we required doing would entail. I used Mike for the replacement of 24 LV halogen downlighters (transformers / fittings / bulbs) with mains voltage, high quality LEDs, renewal & upgrading of the distribution board, installation of two dimmer switches and, in the detached garage, replacement of an 8 foot fluorescent fitting with a 6 foot version plus an additional light switch - at our daughter's 8 year old house in Lichfield. In addition he provided an electrical installation condition report. I found Mike's quotation to be competitive and his willingness to explain and discuss his and my preferences for various aspects of the work most helpful - this even before I had placed my order. Mike turned up promptly on the two days the work took to complete, undertook the work without disturbance and left the house in a tidy condition. The work was completed in a neat and professional manner. All relevant documentation arrived promptly thereafter. I have no hesitation in recommending him and would use him again if the need arose.

Mike did an excellent job. I had him in to completely wire a new Kitchen and out house. Install was done over two separate installations and he showed up on both occasions on time and when he said he would. Very happy with the work he did and he charged a very fair price. He even went over and beyond what I originally asked him to do and will call on his skill again in the future on my next project. Lastly, some electricians can leave a big mess, but Mike made sure he cleaned up after himself which was great to see. He also issued and provided a full certificate for his work without delay.
