MacDonalds offer a truly bespoke design, manufacture and installation service which I can highly recommend. Callum and Derick are both highly skilled cabinet makers working to professional standards and ensured our requirements were met in full. Our project involved removal of existing units and formation of a new support structure all within the schedule and agreed costs.

Calum and Derek MacDonald removed our 1980s fitted bedroom and installed a well-designed and crafted replacement. Their style is totally collaborative with ideas, suggestions, and discussions culminating in scale diagrams. The finished units, which we are delighted with, are well planned, well built, practical, and attractive. We were kept up to date with costs in writing. They worked hard and cleaned up after themselves. They were punctual, professional, and well organised. Indeed, it was a pleasure to have them in the house.

Wow....., We researched several suppliers for our built in wardrobes which we wanted to install in our loft conversion, MacDonalds stood out above all the others, we visited the showroom and was met by Calam who talked us through our options, although we had our measurements because of the precise nature of the job Calam did a 200 mile round trip to ensure accuracy. We agreed the design and within a few weeks Calam and Derek started the work, the quality is so professional and above our expectations despite us having very high standards. We absolutely recommend this business but only if you want quality work!

They were really attentive throughout the whole process, coming out to our house several times to fully assess and give us an accurate and fair quote. The work was carried out in planned timescale, even staying late to ensure that they got the job done. The completed work is to a very high standard and its clear that they take great pride in their work. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Calum and Derek; cabinet makers that truly know their craft and also understand the needs of their clients. It was a big job, the full width of a bedroom in an old property. We handed over our keys before going on holiday and retuned to a fully fitted, custom built wardrobe. They even added an extra socket that we hadn’t considered but now realise we need. This is the second time that we have used Calum and his son, Derek to design and constuct fitted wardrobes for us. Very good advice on wardrobes and drawers for bedroom Meticulous plans made. They kept to the budget and timing although delayed at last minute by Covid. Building the furniture was carried out in the time specified and the roof was left clean and tidy. The old wardrobe was taken away by them to a charity shop. Bedroom looks a lot better and has much better storage. Very pleased.
