Contacted Maddocks after an Internet search for recommended tradesman in the area. Jake was prompt and explained all the options for a new boiler. It was fitted the following week. Connor and Louis arrived on time and left everything clean and tidy. Excellent service that could not be faulted.

After enquiring about a quote for a new boiler, Jake arrived at our house with a detailed and clear information leaflet containing the quote and what the service would/wouldn’t include. Chris and Louis then arrived at our house on time and began work immediately after they had laid out plenty of sheets and mats to protect our floor/hallway. The work itself was to an excellent level and would 100% recommend to anyone. Thank you to Jake, Chris and Louis for their hard work, friendly service and fantastic work.

Replaced boiler with a new combi boiler. Impressive from start to finish. Promptly returned calls and texts, lovely people and did the job quickly (hoovered thoroughly before leaving) - from first contact to boiler being fitted it took a week. I’ve had problems with plumbers before so I am delighted with Jake's company and Chris who fitted the boiler. I genuinely can’t think of anything they could do to improve this service. I have no hesitation in recommending them and will definitely be using them again for other plumbing jobs that I have.

Jake from Maddocks came to quote for a new boiler after our other failed. We were impressed when he presented us with his slick brochure and showed us which one he recommended. As the KW was smaller it would be cheaper to run and reduce our energy bills. We agreed on a price and to suit our budget we agreed to pay interest free over 12 months.? Chris & Ethan worked constantly, leaving the garage clean and tidy. For the next few years we have peace of mind knowing both parts and workmanship are guaranteed. Highly recommended.

Our new boiler was fitted by Chris and Ethan They were extremely plesent Helpful and technically superb. I had a great experience I had with Maddocks replacing my conventional boiler system with a combi. They really emphasised how committed they are to leaving the property in a clean state when they provided my quote, and this is exactly what I recieved; dust sheets down, all mess vacuumed and everything left tidy at the end of both days with all rubbish removed. They were curtious too. They checked with me frequently that I knew they were going on break, didn't have the radio too loud, could leave items in certain places etc. They were friendly too and kept me up to speed with what was going on. Honestly it felt like it almost went too well. They made sure everything was working and checked I was happy it was working, gave me a rundown of how the combi system worked and even helped me reattach the cupboard door again at the end of the day and made sure I was happy with everything before they left. There is literally nothing I can fault and I won't hesitate to recommend.

We needed a gas engineer at short notice as our fairly ancient gas boiler suddenly started to leak and needed replacing. Fortunately, Maddocks Plumbing & Heating were available and did not disappoint. They responded promptly, offered a competitive package that included three years maintenance, and provided outstanding service. As the boiler replacement needed to be done at relatively short notice, Jake himself carried it out. He arrived punctually, carried out the work with great professionalism and checked everything carefully afterwards. He also explained what he’d done, offered some sensible maintenance tips to prevent future issues, and left the work area spotless. In short, we have absolutely no hesitation in recommending his company.
