Mr Henrickson turned up when he said he would, inspected the roof, explained what work he thought needed doing and said he'd send a quote. I accepted the quote, his team turned up when stated and completed the job. They removed all material and swept the work area before leaving, even taking the sweepings with them. The area looked cleaner after they left than before they arrived!

I needed 3 flat roofs boarding and felting, called Malcolm and he came out the same day to assess the job. A quote followed in a couple of days, which I accepted. Malcom called me a couple days later to say that the scaffolders would be with us on Friday morning and the roofers would come on Monday around 08:00. The scaffolders were very quick at erecting both structures at the front and rear of the house. The roofers turned up on time every day for the 3 days that it took to complete the work, they were very professional and polite, keeping us informed of the progress. At the end of each day they left the site clean and tidy. The scaffolding was removed the day after the roofing was completed. Really pleased with the work carried out and the professionalism of both the roofers and the scaffolders.

I had been suffering with a leaky roof because precious repairs had not fixed root cause. I needed the full roof replacing. I was recommended to use Malcolm's services for the replacement of my large garage roof. The task wasn't straightforward as the roof drained to a central gully. Malcolm assesssed the requirement and made some sensible suggestions for the drainage from the roof. The work was completed satisfactorily by one of Malcolm's team several months ago. The recent heavy rain found a leak in the area where the flat roof butts up against a conservatory. So I e-mailed Malcolm on Sunday, and to my surprise he rang early on Monday morning to say a team were on their way, and by midday the leak was repaired. I was impressed.

I was recommended to Malcolm Hendrickson Flat Roofing by several neighbours who had roofs fitted by the company over the last few years. Similarly, my own experience has been very positive from start to finish. From when I discussed my initial requirement, a fully detailed and itemised quote was provided, a timescale of when the work would be undertaken was given, contact was continuous and on arrival they stripped the original and fitted the new flat roof to a double garage and large porch over a couple of days, disposing of all waste. The workmanship and finish is excellent and you can see how all personnel across the company take pride in their work. Throughout the fitting team were diligent and hard-working. Before leaving, they made sure all the original fittings were replaced and made good. Really has been impressive and I would certainly recommend them to others.

Whilst having my soffits & facias replaced it was brought to my attention that my dormer roof required replacement. I called Malcolm for a quotation and he visited personally within a couple of hours. I received a very reasonable quotation the next day which I accepted & his team turned up early the next morning & completed the required work in just over a day. Having reviewed their work, it looked very professionally done. Overall I am very satisfied with their very prompt response & professional repair. Malcolm’s team mended my flat roof as he had done many years previously. Since then it has needed some odd repairs but his original had lasted well for a long time. His workmen all came at the times that they said they would come and were friendly, polite and helpful and very capable and cleared away all the rubbish leaving everywhere spotless. The job looks amazing and there have been no leaks since despite heavy rain showers. During the job a slight accident occurred but Malcolm came himself to look and sent expert repairers to come and promptly rectify the problem with no fuss and free of charge. He stuck to his original price, which was very competitive and overall would definitely have him or his team any time required in the future. I would thoroughly recommend him.

I was alerted by our tenants to water leaking into an extension. We live quite far from the property and I have a busy job that makes it difficult to make phone calls during the day. I have had many attempts to repair the leak in the past by other roofers, to no avail. They decided it was a bit of a mystery ! When Mr. Henrickson came to look at my roof, he identified the problem immediately. After Henrickson's did the job I was waiting for a real test of wind and torrential rain , which we certainly had yesterday ( 12/09/2023) I was watching nervously for the rain to spurt out and run down soaking my wall, this was a real test and it passed ! I was jumping for joy! It has rained furiously since and is still good. Very pleased.

Our church hall developed a leak in the felt roofing over the ladies' toilets and the water was dripping off the light fitting. I called Malcolm Henrickson and he was on site within 30 minutes. He called one of his field operatives who was just on his way home but diverted to site and applied a large gas torched patch to the affected area. I was very impressed with the speed of the response and the quality of the work and there was no charge - I have used his services several times in the past.

Having noticed a leak in our flat garage roof, I e-mailed Malcolm on a Sunday. He rang on Monday morning and then came along the same day and had a look and measure up. He rang with a quote at teatime which I accepted. He rang again on the Friday and asked if they could come at 8am on the Saturday - I assume through a cancellation as he'd said we'd get a few days' notice but didn't ask as it didn't matter one way or the other. A two man team came and finished on the same day - a bit of debris from old roof coming off but not much and they took the time to clear up after themselves. They also refused biscuits with their afternoon coffee as I'd given them too many in the morning! So all in all 6 days from when I noticed leak to when it was all sorted.

We contacted Malcolm having unfortunately fallen victim earlier in the week to some rogue tradesmen who left our roof in rather a mess. Malcolm responded to our call immediately and came to see us within a few hours. A detailed and fair quotation quickly followed and his team was putting up scaffolding within a few days. A church member contacted Malcolm initially about an on-going problem with the church roof which has been leaking over a period of time. A site visit was arranged promptly & the area causing the problem was identified. A quote for the work was received & agreed. Malcolm organised the erection of the scaffolding. The repair was made to a section of the church roof. Initially, the repair held against heavy rainfall but a second deluge resulted in a small leak being detected. A second visit by Malcolm has resulted in no further leaks being evident despite further torrential rain. The work was completed to our satisfaction and for the price quoted. Malcolm was accessible, responsive & reliable.
