Sunshine Gardens is a family run garden services business which was established in Christchurch, Dorset in 1977. Our highly skilled and knowledgeable gardeners offer professional landscaping, complete garden maintenance, tree stump grinding, as well as fencing, driveways, paving, patios and laying artificial grass solutions.
The company has grown from recommendations and word of mouth as a result of unwavering dedication to providing a first rate service to local residents across East Dorset. We cover the following areas: Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole, New Milton, Ringwood, Ferndown and Lymington.

Excellent work as usual. Malcolm and his workers took down a large fir tree which had outgrown the area. Neighbouring shrubs needed attention and were suitably pruned. Most importantly the clearing up was done thoroughly and efficiently. Even our neighbour’s driveway was checked and cleared of any debris. Great job , well done .

Sunshine Gardens were very reliable. Details of the work to be carried out were discussed and checked before commencement. They turned up on time and carried out the work quickly but efficiently, leaving a neat, tidy finish. Estimates of costs were realistic and reasonable. They were also willing to accommodate little extras, such as leaving a hedgehog hole in the new fence. The holes left by the apple tree stumps were filled in with a particularly tidy finish. All waste wood was taken away. Further suggestions and recommendations to improve the garden were very welcome. Highly recommended.

We had an idea of how our garden should look but Malcolm and his hard working team turned it into a reality. Lots of people have commented on how much bigger the garden looks and how improved it is. Having two dogs we had to do something and Malcolm helped us realise the best way to do it. Not only to we have a dog proof garden we have a beautiful area to enjoy. Malcolm also helped us manage the budget and was completely upfront about costs. We couldn’t be happier about the end result and Malcolm’s expertise and knowledge of all the plants to use. His team also should get a mention. Hard working and kept everything clean and tidy at the end of each day.

This is the second time that we have employed Sunshine Gardens in the last 15 months as we were so pleased with Malcolm’s work first time round. In this job, Malcolm and his team completed the redesigning of our garden which included shrub and plant clearance, removal of a small pond, replacement of a patio, re-turf the lawn to a new design and planting. All work was done to a high standard and to time and budget. Malcolm is a perfectionist and he and his team were extremely hard working and polite and he was happy to advise and accommodate any little extras that we required. We would have no hesitation in recommending Malcolm to anyone requiring similar work.

Extensive Garden Work
Sunshine Gardens carried out some excellent work in our front garden a few years back so we had no hesitation in calling Malcolm and his team in once again. We have a large back garden and needed it to be cleared and completely landscaped to accommodate our needs. A new patio, lawn area and a considerable amount of brickwork around raised beds was required. The project took approximately two months and all areas were completed to an exceptionally high standard and within the agreed budget. Malcolm's attention to detail and vast knowledge of and choice of plants complimented the patio and brickwork perfectly. We are delighted with the result.

Having had Malcolm and his team clear our jungle of a garden in the summer we were keen to have them back as soon as they could to design and create our front and back gardens. They totally transformed our outside space arranging and planting for us and creating a lovely patio area to go with the new grass. Great people to have around and the highest standard of workmanship. Several of our neighbours saw the results and now are booking Sunshine Gardens themselves. Highly recommended!

Malcolm is a perfectionist and it shone through in the work that he did for us. His knowledge and professionalism are second to none. He and his team were courteous, hard working, clean and tidy. Nothing was too much trouble. His advice on steps to take was spot on and he has transformed our garden. The work involved clearing old shrubs and trees, removing a large garden shed, laying a large patio, erecting some fences and planting new topiary etc. All work was done to schedule and cost estimates. We are delighted with the finished result and couldn’t have asked for more. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone and shall certainly be using him again.

Malcolm and his team set about our garden and within 48 hours had already transformed it. Their workmanship was excellent and Malcolm’s knowledge is second to none. Nothing was too much trouble and they worked incredibly hard, keeping everything tidy and with great attention to detail. Everything was left looking immaculate and the only problem was trying to get another time slot for more work as they are, understandably, incredibly popular. Highly recommended. Our shrubs had got very big, more like trees. It hadn't been looked at in 20 years. They have got rid of the shrubs and have completely redone the garden, including a new birdbath. Malcolm was very polite, helpful and knowledgeable. He measured up and made sure he know what I wanted. Offered suggestions to make it look even better than i had imagined, put everything in and it really does look nice.

Malcolm’s team completed a fantastic job on our garden as usual. Cut back and pruned all bushes and shrubs, removed all the leaves from between the shrubs, cleared driveways of leaves and winter dirt accumulation. Then removed it all and took to the tip. Excellent work all completed on time in one day. Now we have booked them in March to clean our driveway and patio. The cost of all this work was very reasonable and I recommend them highly to all.
