Throughout the whole process of replacing our windows and French doors - from estimating to installation - we have been very impressed by Marathon. Jane visited to advise and measure for the estimate and was really helpful. Anthony handled the installation work and took a real pride in his work. We are delighted with our new windows - the end product is excellent. And after the installation our guarantee paperwork and FENSA certificate arrived promptly. Really pleased we chose Marathon for our replacement windows.

We had four replacement windows, a large bay window and door frame with side window and composite door installed by Marathon. There was an expectation of problems with the front door as there were some potential issues with a course of bricks above the frame but, as it turned out the install went extremely well. When an install of this size is undertaken, people need to be aware that there will be unforeseen issues. What matters is how the installers deal with them at the time. Anthony and Paul dealt with all of these extremely well and everything was completed to the highest standard, as promised. I would definitely recommend Marathon to anyone needing such work done and will use them in future, should the need arise.

The team were all polite and mostly very good at getting back in touch. The products ordered were custom but delivered wholly according to spec which was impressive. When the special order handles arrived too late they were very prompt in coming out and fitting them too (no extra charges at all). While delivery times can be a bit long this is due to industry issues and they were very quick to schedule in fitting once arrived. A fault with one door was patiently tracked down and corrected. So, while nothing in life is perfect Marathon were about as good as it can get to managing everything to do with new windows and new doors. I don't think they were more expensive than anyone else would have been either.

Marathon Windows is brilliant. They've done an overhaul of windows and french doors quickly, on time and within the quote. They delivered the finished result to a high standard and have been tidy throughout. Also, the entire team from the management (Tony, Jane, Nick), admin and fitters were all friendly, professional, courteous and helpful at every stage of the work carried out. Highly recommend them and we will certainly use Marathon Windows again.

Marathon done a great job with help from Tony and Jane Nick, the fitters at all the team, there is also a great back up for any minor issues which we think are important always someone to talk to.

I find the staff at the office very helpful: replying to emails promptly and available on the phone. I find the fitters to be tidy, professional and the work carried out to a high standard. I find the quality of the doors and windows supplied are of a high standard. I find the surveyor to be punctual and I receive quotes quickly.

Positive experience from the time we came to the showroom to payment. Everyone was polite and helpful. The fitters were cheerful, efficient and worked through a really rainy day. Furniture, etc. was protected with dust sheets and they tidied up after they finished a room. We obtained three quotes and although marathon were not the cheapest, we felt we could trust them, that we would receive what we were promised and that if there were any issues they would be dealt with in a timely manner. Good quality windows at a competitive price (we got three quotes). Installation was carried out efficiently, respectfully and with all made good. Chased up a response to emails a few times but a minor blip in an otherwise pleasing experience.

From the start of the process to the finish every single element was carried out accurately, professionally and sensitively. From Jane and Tony carrying out the initial visits for measurements etc through to the guys who carried out the work, every single person was efficient, organised, accurate, friendly and sensitive to my concerns as someone at high risk and anxious about mask wearing etc. To make the job easier for the guys I went and sat in the garden so that they wouldn't need to wear their masks while working indoors, and when I tried to persuade them to pause for a tea break, they said they just wanted to crack on so that I had my home finished and secure as quickly as possible. They didn't take any breaks at all and when they finished, the clean-up was so perfect I didn't need to do a thing and you wouldn't have known they'd been there except that I now had these perfect windows! I actually stand and admire them, and my neighbours have been full of compliments. The price was reasonable and the work impeccable, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

After the successful installation of new front and side doors in 2020 we decided to complete the the final part of our plan to secure the property by asking Marathon to quote for replacing ageing double doors leading to our patio. As before the work was carried out efficiently both on time and budget with all members of the installation team polite and considerate. In the next couple of years we intend to replace all our windows and would have no hesitation in contacting Marathon once more to complete the work.

This is the second time Marathon Windows has completed work for us. This time they renewed our front door and replaced 3 windows within our house. As expected the work was completed without any problems and to a high standard. I would not hesitate in having them back again for any work of this type.

Marathon Windows fitted an outside door for us which had been previously fitted by a builder only a few months before. Their work was first class, Les who came out to do the job was very polite, respectful of our property unlike the previous builders, tidy and kept me informed throughout. Also fitted trim to loft window. I have recently had them round to quote for trims to remaining windows and replace a seal in the bathroom. Highly recommend. Use with confidence nothing seems to be too much trouble for them.

I cant recommend this company enough. Everyone we met from the company was friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful, and the team that fitted the windows were effecient, polite and tidy. They made good the rendering on the walls after fitting the windows and door and when i called because i noticed the letterbox was slightly crooked it was dealt with pretty much immediately with someone coming back to straighten it the following morning. Everything happened when they said it would without any need for chasing and unlike other suppliers they didn't ask for a 50% deposit. In fact, their costs and payment terms were the best of the 3 quotes we received. Im so pleased we chose Marathon and would highly recommend them.

Good experience. No hard sell or silly pricing "offers". Kept all appointments, and kept to the timetable for installation that you first gave us. The large window you fitted for us is looking good.

Have dealt with Marathon Windows before, very efficient and friendly. We placed our order with them and the end of June and they came and fitted 9th September. Fitters go out of their way to do a professional job, and leave everywhere tidy. Very courteous, and the office staff are always very good at answer any queries and responding promptly. The windows have made a great improvement to our house.

From contact to first visit, second visit to measure up, the fitting of all the house windows, patio doors, new fantastic front door and new back door with a cat flap fitted was excellent. All the staff, owners, office staff, fitters were all professional. No fuss no mess gave a choice of payments. I was recommended to use Marathon Windows and would definitely recommend them myself.

This company were very professional, didn't keep pestering us with phone calls like other local companies, they did the work ( front & back door & new smaller window in the kitchen, the outside wall had to be rendered & new wooden windowsill) one man did the whole job in 2days, tidied up, polite & helpful, would definitely have them again.

We have used Marathon a few times now (back double glazed then Garden room sliders). This latest job was for the front and side leaded windows which required a style sympathetic to the 1930’s character. We chose their ‘Timeless’ range. The team handled my queries promptly and the fitters were very professional. We are very pleased with the result, quality and price. Will use again when the Kitchen extension is complete for bi-folds.

Marathon Windows did a complete replacement of all of our windows (17 windows) and doors (3 doors). We are very pleased with the finished result. The installation was done over 5 days. The installation team were very professional and considerate as they worked around us. The installation was done to a very high standard with no damage to our internal decoration. Everything was left clean and tidy at the end of each day.

Overall my experience with Marathon was excellent. I felt like I was dealing with a small enough team of people who knew about my job, and was not dealing with a large company who were not aware of me when I rang. I found the office team to be helpful and approachable. Luke and Jack did a great job with the fitting of my new front door; they were very helpful, polite and professional, taking the time to do the job properly rather than getting it done as quickly as possible and leaving. I have used Marathon previously and will definitely use them again. The only negative I would mention is that it took a lot longer for the door to arrive than I had initially been advised and it would have been good to have received a call informing me of the longer than usual wait. However, it well worth the wait as the front door looks so smart and I have had several very good comments from neighbours and family.

Replacement of bay five windows of bedroom. Job done on time at agreed quote price. Guys took down curtain rail and as asked put back in place at end of job. Very clean work and am impressed by whole episode.
