Marc Voss Property Solutions (MVPS)

After initial consultations and the usual plans and pictures being shared alongside the pricing structure I employed Marc Voss to do a complete kitchen makeover. His cheerful attitude and positive approach were excellent. He began the job and worked through some of the worst weather (rain and high winds) we had in December without a grumble. His attention to detail was a bonus and also the variety of skills that he could bring to the job in hand. He organised additional professionals to deal with the electrical intricacies and also a plumber to deal with the gas, alongside a plasterer all of whom worked hard and well. He was trustworthy and also accommodated having my dogs around the place with his usual good nature. He was very conscientious and worked with me to get the job done to a high standard. I would recommend Marc to anyone looking for a very good job at a fair price.

Marc converted our loft into a storage space for us. He installed floorboards and a light in the loft, as well a new loft opening complete with folding ladder. The problem with this job was that we have thick layers of insulation in the loft so we needed a solution to lay down floorboards without squashing the insulation. Marc did a lot of research and kept us updated at all times. He came back with a solution that suited us perfectly. Also, Marc found a good quality loft door with built-in insulation to prevent heat loss and drafts. He is professional, has a high standard of delivery, is polite, courteous and tidies up after himself. We are happy to recommend his services.

I found Marc through the Which Local website and employed him to redecorate our living room. The work included sanding and varnishing the floor boards, stripping wallpaper and repainting the walls and ceiling. We also asked for additional sockets to be installed, for which March contracted an electrician. I would recommend him on the basis of this work alone, but he went the extra mile to install a new fireplace - this was not in the original job schedule and was an ad-hoc decision, but Marc just went ahead and did a phantastic job. He even came over the weekend to finish work on the fireplace. I'm very impressed with the quality of his workmanship and his flexibility in accommodating additonal work. I have no hesitation in using his service again and can highly recommend him.

Mark came to decorate the exterior of my house, which had wood that needed replacing as I had been let down the previous year. He repaired rotten wood and decorated the windows, and I have to say my windows are quite large and awkward to decorate. He and his colleague did the job well and my windows appear to be safe and sound for another few years, so I have been recommending him to neighbours. I would definitely ask him back next time.

Found Marc through Which Local and having read the reviews employed him to repaint and repair where necessary the stucco and woodwork on the outside of my house. I was not disappointed. He was prompt,tidy,courteous and did a 1st class job. I would have no hesitation in recommending his services.

Marc has just finished another project for for me to his usual high standard. There doesn't seem to be any aspect of renovation beyond him! The job included tiling, roof repairs, chimney blocking, plastering, finding old wood to repair original Victorian floorboards as well as painting and decorating of the top 2 floors of the house. I am so happy with the kitchen. To be honest, I was dreading it as I knew it was going to be disruptive. It needed to be done as it was very old, difficult to keep clean and very ugly (not me, the kitchen!). I am so glad the whole thing came together seamlessly and without fuss. I work from home sometimes and Marc was considerate enough to stop the noisy work when I was on the phone. I didnÍt have to worry about finding a plasterer, an electrician, a plumber or anybody else as he sorted all that. I wanted something that looked good but I didnÍt to spend top prices, so from the design stage, Marc had his work cut out. I changed my mind so many times, my husband refused to talk about it, so Marc had to advise me through numerous texts and e-mails. I finally chose the design and a date to get it done. The result is brilliant! I love it. He advised me on the paint colour (great choice!), pointed me in the right direction for the type of flooring (again great choice). Yes, I still asked for a few things to be added and others to be removed when it was nearly finished and he did it without complaining and I am so grateful for this (examples are that he sorted out a TV shelf and painted it to match the wall colour and returned (and got a refund for) the breakfast bar when I decided I didnÍt want it). The final touches were well worth it, he sets himself very high standards. The kitchen is stunning and was spotlessly clean when he finished with it. It isnÍt the first time I used MVPS for work in the house and I am so pleased to have found him.

Marc recently completely refitted our bathroom suite, decorated the room and tiled the walls and floors. He has done a wonderful job and I now look forward to using my bathroom. His attention to detail is second to none and I would thoroughly recommend Marc to anyone requiring his services.

We found Marc via an internet search for carpenters in the Leicestershire area. We were impressed and reassured by his Which? award and made contact. Initially, Marc carried out some simple external repairs and we quickly found him to be punctual, polite and reliable. He was fast, efficient and familiar with the latest repair techniques, which saved us money in comparison to other quotes weÍd had. We subsequently asked him to carry out more major work inside our house and Marc advised us on the best materials and approaches required to get the final results we were after. The tasks included laying laminate flooring that runs from the front to the back door and into the downstairs WC too _ a relatively large area with some difficult details to tackle _ all carried out to a high standard. He even ventured through heavy snow during the work to ensure it was completed on time! We are particularly pleased with the door he created from scratch to close off the storage space under the stairs. He suggested a ïhiddenÍ door and the execution really is faultless. Once weÍve completed the decorating, weÍll be happy to share pictures of the finished hallway for use by Which? Local and on MarcÍs website.

Marc did a complete kitchen re-fit including tiling and decorating. I'm really impressed with the quality of the work - the kitchen looks immaculate. It's obvious to me that Marc takes a great pride in his work. He took great care and I found him very helpful and friendly. I would defintely use him again and would highly recommend him.

We had Marc fit 11 internal light oak doors of various sizes, having found him through Which? Local. We were pleased that he was able to fit us into his schedule earlier than we feared, he came on time and worked long hours every day. He went to a lot of trouble on our behalf to obtain the doors locally at internet-dealer prices and checked them before taking delivery. He worked very quickly and took a great pride in doing a good job with considerable attention to detail and, in the end, gave us exactly what we were looking for. Marc is a jovial personality who was good to have around and who cleaned up after himself all the time. We would recommend him.

I recently used Marc Voss after looking through WHICH local to find a recommendation for a carpenter. I have to say that Marc responded quickly, fitted my job in at short notice even though he was alreday busy, and that he completed the job quickly and helpfully. I am already calling him back for less urgent jobs!

Marc carried out a number of jobs at my husband's offices. He has always done an excellent job while causing the minimum disruption and they even trust him with the keys to the office so that he can get access out of working hours.

I contacted Marc after consulting Which Local and am so pleased I did. He has managed to fit in decorating our hall, stairs and landing and downstairs rooms quickly and efficiently. He arrives when he says, and has done a great job, causing minimal disruption and leaving everywhere spick and span when he leaves each evening. He has also helped us out in many ways, giving useful advice and fixing stuff (like doors that stick or don't close) while he is here. I will definitely ask him to do other jobs in the future. After rescuing our utility room, Marc has just finished sorting out the bathroom. As usual he wasn't happy until it was perfect even when he realised he had to work harder and longer days to sort out the mess he found after he removed the old tiles, bath and carpet. He even worked on Fathers' day! It looks stunning. Thanks to Marc for a first rate job as always. He deserves his businessman of the year award! It is a pleasure dealing with him.

We have just had Marc Voss to decorate our hall way.His work and price are excellent,if I could give him more than 5 stars I would.Nothing is too much trouble for him and we shall certainly have him back again.
