Marcello Carpentry

Marcello helped design and then builtld a lovely bay window seat in our bedroom. He also reclaimed a badly damaged corner kitchen cupboard. The quality of his work is always excellent. He always arrives on time and just gets stuck in! Seat he built is fantastic. Cost was fair and I would not hesitate to use him again. Thoroughly recommend for all types of bespoke carpentry projects large or small.

Marcello has designed and built custom furniture for our loft conversion. We’re so impressed with the quality - as are other professionals that have been since seeing the work.

Marcello initially built a pair of wardrobes in alcoves to the side of bedroom chimney breast. We were very impressed with his workmanship, quick, tidy and a keen eye for detail. So we commissioned some further shelving and cupboards through the house. All was completed to a high standard and in good time and to budget. Marcello is passionate about his work and clearly takes great pride. I would recommend him for similar work.

Marcello is a gifted carpenter and a consummate craftsman - it is a joy to watch him work with wood. He is punctual and reliable, and he works with care, creativity, precision, skill and speed. So far, he has built us two excellent made-to-measure floor-to-ceiling cupboards and hung (beautifully) a number of heavy oak fire doors and a bifold door - and has crafted a huge floor to ceiling ‘library’, working flexibly to our exacting specifications! This, the piece de resistance, includes a built-in desk, cupboards with sliding doors and a huge range of shelves of differing dimensions to hold books and display treasures. We could not be happier with the quality of his work – and have asked him to come back in the new year to tailor-make us an outdoor movable shed on castors! We recommend Marcello wholeheartedly for his five-star skill and service.

Marcello transformed an alcove in our bedroom into a practical area for hanging clothes and to shelve items, which has maximised our storage space. He also fixed our doors and bedroom window so they shut properly and excluded draft. Cello is prompt with his responses, fast and efficient, gives great advice and is super friendly! We are really pleased with his work and would highly recommend his services.

When given a tight brief Marcello executed with great ability, offering ideas and solutions to enhance the project. We found him be punctual, competitively priced and a nice guy. Would highly recommend.

Mr Mirto built a bespoke cupboard in my bathroom yesterday, but this is no ordinary bathroom cupboard. I gave him a design spec, roughly thought out in my head, and he cleverly translated that into the most impressive floor to ceiling (perfect symmetrical) 4 door cupboard with soft closing hinges and 'push to open' catches. He also fully shelved out the inside. The finish was perfect. My boiler is now fully concealed, and I have ample shelving for all of my toiletries, towels etc.. All done in a days work. Now just needs painting. Thanks Cello!
