Led by Mark Newell - who is fully qualified in his profession, having a National Diploma in Tree Management & Arboriculture – the business has much experience having carried out work for many private customers; large building companies; general gardeners; landscape gardeners; estate agents; property management companies; chartered surveyors and corporate businesses. Mark is very experienced in all aspects of arboriculture and is keen to keep the business up to date with all technological and innovative advancements in the profession, having close links with the local Arboricultural College.

Excellent job - reducing and shaping a mature silver birch and a large yew. We are very pleased with the work, including leaving the garden tidy. Great three-man teamwork between them. And after a day's work, the logs for firewood were left stacked neatly where I asked, cut to size. Notable also is Mark's office backup team, from the first enquiry, keeping us informed at each stage about the work date, times, etc. From our experience across many companies, this is a refreshing change and should be a model for others.

Mark Newell and his team came and pruned a large amount of hedging and trees in my garden and were very professional in all they did, they carried out all the work according to the quotation and also some extra that that I asked them to do. Mark Newell and his colleagues removed a considerable amount of dead wood from a very old lilac tree and shaped the remaining branches. What was an ugly sprawling tree now has a very pleasing look. There was a long lead time between quote and work being done, but I knew that and was prepared to wait. The job was to remove a dead magnolia tree from up against our neighbour's house, so wanted to be sure it was all done properly, with no risk of damaging the property. Mark and colleague arrived promptly and the tree came down in stages with no drama. They also trimmed a number of other trees and shrubs that were overgrown. This was all done as agreed and the garden looks a lot tidier now. All the cut pieces were chipped and taken away, leaving no mess. Very pleasant people to deal with. Really great job and highly recommended.

We needed trees and shrubs cut back as they were very overgrown. Mark and his team were highly professional and completed the work efficiently. They left the garden very tidy. Mark has done work for me for many years maintaining two large willow trees on the river bank at the bottom of my garden. Firstly obtaining the required Planning Permission for their pruning and shaping approximately every two years since 2014. On his last visit three fruit trees were also pruned, and the river bank cleared of self setting growth. All removed branches etc. were chipped on site and everything was left clean and tidy, you would not have known they had been. However, one willow branch which had fallen into the river was missed, and Mark returned the following day to remove it. The work was carried out on the agreed date, and to budget - as usual, an excellent job all round.

Mark and his team have done a substantial amount of work on our mature trees, from removing diseased ones to cleaning the healthy ones top to bottom and lifting their canopies. Mark has been coming to look after our eucalyptus tree for quite a few years. He walks around the tree and then knows exactly what needs doing to reshape it. Quite a task this time as it had grown very tall. He had already visited us and given us a quote for this tree, a much smaller eucalyptus and cutting down an old holly tree. As well as doing an excellent job, then clearing up and shredding the branches, all this was done with Mark and his team socially distancing from each other and us. During the recent storms an extremely large woodland poplar tree was blown down into our neighbours garden and our driveway. We were completely blocked in and there was no way we could get our cars out. Mark and his team came the following day and removed enough of the tree for us to get our cars out. Over the following two days they completely removed the rest of the tree and left our neighbours garden and our driveway looking as if nothing had happened. Mark and his team carried out the felling of a large willow tree close to our garden border. It was a difficult job I think due to the fact that the willow had started to collapse in stormy weather. Work was carried out efficiently and with due consideration to our movements on and off the drive area. I returned to find a very tidy site and all the logs piled up neatly to one side.
