A wonderful and courteous gentleman who is so knowledgeable. Visited to check the internal lights that needed to be replaced and also the external lights that were to be put up. Quoted a price and kept to it even though it took longer for the work. Mark really takes pride in the work he does and we are extremely pleased with the professionalism and quality of his service provided. We will be recommending Mark to other friends and family. Mark visited on time to our home to fix a problem with one of our sockets. He knew straight away what the problem was and fixed the issue very quickly whilst taking care of the wall and socket he was dealing with. Mark tidied up the wires that were left badly by the house builder and also cleaned up any mess he had made before leaving. Very courteous and respectful

I emailed Mark because he had come and done some work in 2019 and I had been satisfied with his work then. I explained what seemed to be an intermittent fault with a socket in the kitchen. I was very pleased when he arranged to come two days later where he tested the socket and confirmed it needed replacing which he did quickly and efficiently. The bill was very reasonable and Mark is pleasant and courteous. I would definitely use him again.

We are so pleased with the work Mark carried out, fitting new light and plug fittings. He kept us informed when he was arriving turned up exactly when he said he would. Mark worked really professional and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. We are having some more switches replaced and asked Mark to come back.

Mark Rhodes was the most reliable tradesman we have had throughout our renovation, originally booked just to move a couple of switches and plug sockets, ended up with basically a full rewire. We always knew Mark would turn up and if for any reason was unable we knew well in advance and rescheduled. Great communication throughout. Mark gave first class service and a very punctual job, absolutely going over and above to accommodate our personal circumstances. We had purchased a do-er upper and needed trustworthy and reliable trades who could work in the week around our weekend DIY project over quite a protracted period and Mark ensured that each part of the 1st/2nd fix was complete to allow our work and that of other trades to proceed. Mark even installed an emergency circuit to ensure our safety prior to even being offered the job, provides sketches for us to check, made suggestions of the type of quality products to install (e.g. smoke/carbon monoxide detectors, and economical trickle humidistat bathroom extractor fan), he adapted each electrical circuit loop attached to each fuse to best serve our needs, upgraded the external garage, installed internet ethernet cabling to our gaming son’s requirements, and connected our kitchen and bathroom appliances. He adapted the plans as we needed and came to the rescue when we drilled through some of his new wiring. Mark even completed to pre-paper work and dealt with the service providers needed to upgrade the electrics for what is now intended to be a future installation of an electric car charging point. On occasions Mark needed to work alongside our other trades and he was very accommodating of their needs. Go for quality and reliability over cost if you can. Thank you Mark!

I have used Mark on a number of occasions and have always received a first class service. Today was no different. Punctual, respectful of property, clean and tidy, and a pleasant person to have around whilst to the work. We would not hesitate to use Marks service again. He had to work around a lot of stuff as we're a big family living in the house, which was not ideal. Mark fitted 3 semi-flush light fittings for me. Such a nice guy he showed me how he completed the first install in case I wanted to do the rest and save myself money. Punctual, no hidden costs or shoddy work, really helpful too. Wouldn't think twice about recommending him.

Asked for my consumer electrical unit which was the old 'simple' type of either all power off, or on, to be changed to a new up-to-date style with several switches relating to lighting/sockets and areas of the house and also requested the light and ceiling rose in the bathroom and spare room to be changed (bathroom also had a heater within the old light!) and also asked for electrical plug sockets to be added in a couple of areas. Arrived on time, very polite and got quickly on with the tasks. Did a very good job on what was asked to be done and was also helpful in pointing out possible problems that he saw whilst working on the job in hand. Tided up along the way and left the house as neat as when he arrived. The time taken and the price paid was exactly as per originally said. Recommended.

Came EXACTLY when he said he would, replied to all queries very quickly and provided all the necessary paperwork just as quickly. We had 4 different jobs to complete - 2 different outside lights and 2 different internal lights - and all were completed to a very high standard. Even gave free advice about another job he thought I could do myself and therefore saved me money. Cannot recommend highly enough. Lovely man as well!

We contacted Mark after reading reviews on this website and are so pleased we did! The communication was excellent and Mark explained how busy he was but gave us a timescale for completing the work - replacing light fixtures in the bathroom and replacing the sensor on outside lights. He assessed the jobs and provided detailed costs. The work was of the very highest quality. Good quality components coupled with brilliant workmanship from someone who is a genuinely nice person who was a pleasure to have at our home. We cannot recommend Mark too highly and would not look anywhere else in the future - he is the best!

Mark is very reliable. He came on time and did the work very effectively with a minimum of fuss or mess. He offered helpful advice and is very friendly and professional. This is the 4th time we have used Mark and would do so again.

Having spent months agonising over finding an electrician to rewire our house we came across Mark on the Which Trusted Trader website. Every review was excellent, glowing in fact, so we decided to give mark a ring. Like every good electrician, Mark was fairly booked up, however, having met with Mark and discussed the rewire we decided we were happy to wait and boy are we glad we did. Mark was excellent- professional, hard working and respectful of our property, going above and beyond what we expected. He made suggestions with regards the number and placement of plug sockets/lights etc. and disruption was kept to the bare minimum. He always left the house clean and tidy and we had electricity for the duration of the rewire. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mark, an excellent electrician who performs work of the highest standard. He is extremely trustworthy and personable and an all round great guy.

Having completed my garden bar I can say Mark is one of the best tradesmen I've ever dealt with. Extremely curious, great workmanship and always left everywhere as clean as could be I recommend Mark to anyone looking for an electrician

I can't recommend Mark highly enough. When you find a tradesman as professional, ameanable and as reasonably priced as Mark you worry he might retire and leave you without the security of him being on the end of the phone. He's dealt with a couple of tricky problems on my property that were the remmenants of previous cowboy antics. He was tenacious in his determination to solve the problems previous botched work had presented me with. If you want a thourough, professional gentleman to work in your home, this is the man to get in contact with.

Mark really deserves the Which? Trusted Trader status; he is a perfectionist who takes real pride in his work. Restrictions because of the pandemic meant that the start date was delayed so Mark returned on more than one occasion to update the options available to ensure that he could accommodate our ideas as they evolved during our discussions. Our 90-year-old house needed a complete and challenging rewire. Mark researched the regulations in depth in terms of siting sockets in their original positions where possible and came up with new technical solutions to other problems. Our confidence in the ability and experience that Mark demonstrated allowed us to feel that we could leave our home in good hands for the two weeks that Mark was there. The end result was an excellent job, completed tidily, on time, on budget, really good value for money with a few unexpected extras included. We would recommend Mark’s work unreservedly.

Can't recommend Mark highly enough. He has just finished a really quite tricky install of a power cable to a new garden office I've had built as well as some outside lights and the quality of his work is second to none, a really tidy job at a very fair price. He is incredibly polite, highly professional with his quotes/invoicing, performed all the necessary safety checks, and was also spot on with his Covid precautions.

Mark was fitting a consumer unit in the garage. When searching for an electrician in my area online he was Which? Trust Traders recommended so decided to contact him, he came around fairly promptly to give an estimate and we decided to go ahead. First impressions were that he knew his job and was very friendly. He came on time but unfortunately ran into problems as there was a break in the circuit. He identified the location and resolved it very satisfactorily in a very tight space. This is the second time Mark has worked on my house. He came round to check the job first and talked me through what he would do to ensure I was happy. Mark replaced sockets, repaired others and put up a number of new lights. All the work was completed to a high standard.
