We have used Masons twice and I can't praise them enough. The guys are very professional and friendly and go the extra mile to care for the items they are moving. One of the team we had recently moved us previously and remembered conversations we had had before which was good as have similar interests. We are now using Mason's for storage also and got to say I am impressed with the service the location and security measures.

The removal service by Masons was excellent . Right from the beginning they were helpful and supportive They were flexible and responsive to any changes and always ready to offer solutions Packing was efficient and fast . On arrival at my new home I was faced with a flooded access road but they provided me with the basics that night and managed to get the removal lorry through the next day . Masons moved us back in march this year, from the start they went out of their way to help us as we only had three weeks notice to move and i was stressing. Richard, Peter and the whole team helped us with everything always on the end of the phone with good advice and answers to my many questions. The team on the day worked really hard ,moving all our belongings with care and making sure everything was loaded up before moving on to our new home. I have used Masons before when relocating from Eire to South Wales and they were great. So they were my preferred "go to" team of people when I recently had to do just a small move of my late Mum's possessions - they did the pick up and multiple drop off's around the location and as I experienced before, they were very considerate and professional in their approach to the task in hand all the way through from my call to Richard in the office to dropping the last item. We have worked with Masons for over a year moving a very large number of boxes across the UK for our archive. They have been efficient, pleasant and great value. When we reached capacity they were there to assist and safely store boxes temporarily while we prepared room at our facility. All in all a pleasure to deal with. This is the fourth time that Masons have helped us move house. Whilst all our experiences to date have been very good this last move was the best. Over the two day move, Having and his team couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating. We were kept informed at all times about expected times to arrive on each day, and the time stated was met. First time using this company today, they're storing furniture whilst we remodel part of the house. I can only say how impressed we are at the service we received. 2 friendly and informative tradespeople showed up, explained how they'd carry out the work and then got on with it. They worked carefully around our cats, they packed large and small items sensibly, they were cheerful and professional throughout. Nothing was too much trouble. Masons Moving Group. An excellent service from Day 1. Initial contact was via email and I quickly received a call. I needed some personal belongings removed into storage from Penarth, stored for several months, and then shipped to the Philippines. I was given a very reasonable quotation which I accepted. My cargo was then eventually taken to Heathrow by Masons, and flown to Davao Airport without any problems. The whole process went very smoothly and all staff concerned very friendly and professional. I would certainly use Masons again and am happy to recommend their services.

A brilliant and very efficient service from Masons. We didn't move far but nothing was too much trouble. All our furniture and possessions were packed with care and consideration, and arriving at our new home they were unloaded and placed where we wanted them. We used Masons for a recent move with full packing service. From the initial survey visit through packing, loading and unloading, everybody we dealt with was friendly, professional and flexible, and the general air of calm and adaptability did a huge amount to reduce the stress of the process. We initially contacted Masons due to a recommendation from a friend, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them myself as well.

This is the second time we have used Masons this year. We sold our house back in May and they collected all of our furniture and non-essential items and put them into crated storage until we could find an unfurnished let or find a house to buy. 6 months later and they have now delivered all of our belongings to our new home. Both of the teams we have dealt with were helpful and accommodating to our needs during the move to storage and back to the new property. I did have concerns about the storage as we had never used long term storage before but I have to say all items had been well protected and packed/covered to protect them whilst stored in the crates and the 5 x crates arrived on the back of the van on delivery day to be opened and unpacked in front of us. More than happy to recommend Masons for both their removal and long term storage solutions. We had a great experience with this company so wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others. Richard was our main contact following the initial quote and Diane and Lucy at the office were always helpful and accommodating. The 2 x removal teams we have dealt with were professional and took extreme care moving items out of the initial property and into the new one.

Mason's helped move my elderly parents from a house they had lived in for nearly 50 years to a small bungalow, including a period of storage. They couldn't do enough to help, the team were knowledgeable, took lots of care and couldn't do enough to help. Everyone helped from the initial contact to the last delivery. Masons moved us 9 years ago - they were brilliant then, so we asked them again. In December 2023 they moved us from South Wales to Kent. The whole process was very smooth and all the Masons staff involved were polite, efficient and went over and above to do the job with care. Wow what a great company to use, they took all the stress out of moving and even helped pack the final items on the day for us. The team worked really hard and even went without a lunch to get everything sorted as quickly and efficiently as possible. As we arrived at our new home the team had called in reinforcements on route to help unload the mountain of items packed. We went from 3 workers to 8 in the blink of an eye. The team really pulled together and it was a real team effort to get us in and with everything where it should be as well. I paid extra for a wardrobe and bed to be dismantled and reassembled and that was done with ease. I decided to do 1 of the beds myself to save a bit of funds and the guys still helped me which was greatly appreciated. Overall I was really impressed and would definitely recommend Masons to anyone moving in the future.

From the time that Fern called to assess my move requirements to me waving off Carl and Chris from the doorstep of my new home, the service from Masons has been absolutely superb. During my initial phone call contact with Richard he said "we'll look after you" and by crikey they did. I had a bit of a hiccup when my original Completion Date was changed. A call to the office, and this time spoke to his brother, Brett, who eased my shredded nerves and another date set with no fuss. Carl and Chris arrived on packing day and efficiently went through the house. Two of the nicest guys and their good humoured banter was so much appreciated. Not even the Biblical wind and rain from Storm Whatever the next day (Moving Day), dampened their spirits. A long drive to Lincolnshire was followed by unloading on the Friday. The quality of their packing was revealed to me a day later when I discovered that they had packed my egg stand, complete with half a dozen eggs - none of which were broken or even cracked!! I can't thank Masons enough. Moving house is so stressful but their attention to customer care was second to none. In shopping round for a firm to move me, Masons quote was mid range. We used Masons to move us from Cardiff to west London in 2021 and when we needed to move a short distance into central London, we decided not to use a local London firm but stick with what we knew. We made the right decision, both in the price and with the quality of the movers. Adam and Craig were brilliant. They moved our baby grand piano with great care and even offered to move things round for us in the new house, in case we’d decided to have them in different rooms to where they’d delivered them. We moved into the new house before the builders had finished and they didn’t flinch at this. We were really happy to use Masons again and bring a little bit of South Wales to London :)

What could have been a really stressful move was handled exceptionally. We moved to Scotland from Cardiff and weren’t able to tie up the dates so had to get Mason’s to provide storage as well as moving us up two weeks later. Masons were recommended to us by a neighbour so we went with them without hesitation. From the first survey with Fern where I was reassured that they could do anything I needed them to do to get our things moved, to waving goodbye to them from our new house, the service Masons provided was top notch. They provided ample packing boxes and materials in plenty of time, checked in with me on a regular basis to see how I was getting on, repeated the survey a week before moving day to see if arrangements have changed, and said those magic words as soon as the packing team arrived ‘we are here to make this as stress free as possible’ which they did. Gareth, D and the team worked quickly and efficiently, needing so little input from me that I spent much of the main packing day (day before the move) sitting down and relaxing! While we had packed most of the house up, there was still a garage to clear and a few things to pack, as well as furniture to move, all of which was done by the tram seamlessly. And then moving into the new house was also a joy because again the team worked tirelessly to reconstruct furniture, get it and the rest of the boxes in the right rooms and ensure that we were happy before leaving. This was a substantial domestic house removal from Penarth (South Wales) to London (Wimbledon). It was carried out over five days (3 for uplift, 2 for delivery). It also involved a secondary delivery of a small fraction of the total furniture to an address in Hampstead. Everything was completed on time to the agreed charge. Each team was helpful and friendly, and at one point helped load a table to be auctioned onto the auctioneer's van. The drivers communicated to us en route so we had a good idea of the time of arrival. All the boxes that we could unpack during the unloading process were removed, but we are still waiting for the removal of the remainder. As far as we can now tell, everything was delivered in good condition and no damage was done to either property. We had understood that they would use two 'medium' vans rather than one bigger one, but it was the bigger one that was used. Medium sized vans would have got closer to the entrance to the house and made unloading easier for the men. We think that it was job excellently done, and we are happy with the result.

Informative from the first visit to our old home with many suggestions on packing and good explanation of how they worked. Arrival to pack the van with as much as they could the day before proved invaluable. The removal men were extremely helpful and worked hard both days, with patience waiting for keys to move in. I would highly recommend the firm.

We got three or four quotes Masons being one of those. Fleur did our inspection and quote we found her very engaging and helpful which helped us to decide on Masons for our move. The Thursday the team arrived it was a very hot day but they worked to the schedule hardly stopping for a break and returned on the Friday for the actual move. This again was done on an extremely hot day but the team worked tirelessly to get us in, during our unpacking we found no items were broken or damaged to say we were highly impressed with Masons would be an understatement. 4 rooms emptied of Furniture whilst building work was undertaken. Furniture dismantled, pictures packed as well as china and glass. Exceptional Service.

Great removals company. We had a lot of heavy and large furniture and there were plenty of challenges. The team worked hard on a really hot day, barely stopped for a break. They packed our furniture and glass carefully and everything was well looked after. They also did some things which weren’t specified in the invoice like reassembling some furniture. They were cheerful all day despite the gruelling work and late finish. Made a stressful experience much more bearable.

Not the first time I've used movers, from Picfords to a man in a van. Masons are the best I've dealt with and this is the 3rd time I've used them. Careful, responsible, organised and disciplined. My furniture was well packed with protective covers and carefully taken out to the van. The replacement furniture was brought in unwrapped and installed. It all went like clockwork. I know they will look after my furniture while in store, I've stored furniture with them before and it was delivered in excellent condition unlike two previous firms who lost and damaged items requiring lengthy dealings with insurance companies. The paperwork was straight forward and clearly marked for my completion and because it was short notice and over the bank holiday it was picked up from the last point of delivery. So accommodating at a busy time. The office kept me informed of departure and expected arrival times so no stress about what was happening, where they were, or when they would arrive all communicated in a friendly and timely fashion. We cannot speak more highly of the outstanding service we received from Masons who moved us all the way from Pembrokeshire to East Suffolk. They made what is often a stressful process as stress-free as we could have wished for. The whole process from providing the initial estimate, packing and the removal itself was conducted in a highly professional and friendly manner. Brett in the office was a calming and reassuring influence in the days leading up to the move when we were on tenterhooks as to whether the house purchase would be completed on schedule. Masons moved us from Penarth in the Vale of Glamorgan, in mid-July 2022, via their storage facility as our new property required work done to it in order to make it habitable. The move out was fantastically efficient and handled very professionally indeed, completing on time, what was a rather large job of a big three storey Victorian house. Storage was simple with our stuff being crated up and put into their facility. Invoicing was regular and clearly managed. Upon requesting delivery of our stuff to our new home, Masons were flexible in agreeing a date and sensible in approaching a tricky site. Upon arrival, again all on time, the team were efficient, very amenable to our requests for siting our stuff, even taking some up to our third floor. The team were very professional, friendly and a joy to work with. We couldn't have wished for a better service throughout, Mason's made the whole thing much easier than I could have contemplated. Everything went without a hitch, though I am sure if there had been one they'd have addressed it quickly. All the staff have been so good to deal with from management to removers. I have no hesitation in recommending Masons to anybody anticipating a move.

2 day removal for a 5 bed house, chose the full pack service (fully recommend this). From start to finish it was seamless. They did everything for me, gave some sound advice on dismantling a few things to help me out, really cannot recommend enough. Day of moving was stress free my end, bar few complications with late key hand over due to house moving into were not prepared at all (should have used this firm!) they were patient, and got it all done in a very short timescale. Really cannot fault any part of the move. It's awful moving house, and I will say that Masons made it easy… second time using them, would never use anyone else. I could not have done it without them. Friendly, amazing customer service from a family run firm, nothing was too much for them.

After our house was rendered uninhabitable by a lightning strike we needed to move everything out of the house to allow builders to repair the extensive damage. Over 3 days Mason's Movers helped pack and organized a double move, taking some of our belongings and furniture to a much smaller house and the rest into storage. They are brilliant packers and when we hit problems like the settee being too big for the temporary house but they took it in with the rest of our stuff in their depot. A week later we had too much stuff in the new house and they were only too happy for us to drop off a couple of big boxes to be added to the container. Very nice people, who made us feel well looked after.

From the initial enquiry for a quote to providing the service the whole experience of dealing with Masons was exceptional. The team who completed the move were professional, courteous and very hard working, always helpful with no job however complicated becoming an issue, just simply getting the job done with a minimum of fuss. We recently moved house from Cardiff to West Sussex and having obtained quotes from four companies chose Masons as the company to move us. We were really happy with the service we received. Fern, who came to quote, gave us confidence that they would look after our belongings and planned a logical time frame for the move. Our moving date was ‘two weeks away’ for months, with contracts taking longer than expected to exchange, but Richard held faith that it would happen for us in the end, and although needing four days in total for packing and moving, managed to book us in for our preferred dates. We originally planned to do most of the packing ourselves, but following an injury my husband was unable to lift, so Masons did all the packing for us and if I was ever moving again I would always want this service -worth every penny! The team who came to pack were efficient and friendly and the guys who did the long drive and then unloaded over two days were amazing. They worked so hard yet remained upbeat and positive throughout. Only when your belongings are moved across the country do you realise how much stuff you have, but they took great care of everything (including plants) and thanks to that there were no losses nor significant damages. We have no hesitation in highly recommending their very friendly and professional service.

We moved from Cardiff to Northern Ireland and engaged Masons to do the move. Price was good and in spite of us turning out to have a LOT more stuff than we realized, everything ran on time and to plan thanks to the team's hard work. Packing up was completed on schedule, including disassembling a lot of furniture. Delivery was as expected and handled swiftly through a lot of hard work, and a second delivery arrived as expected a few days later. Would use again.

Most impressed with the efficiency of the team. They were courteous, friendly and packed quickly, effectively and took care in labelling the boxes so that the contents would be easy to place in the appropriate room in the new house. They were also punctual and worked professionally having set out the basics regarding timings, toilet facilities and tea and coffee requirements. Altogether made a stressful situation much easier for those of us in our 70's.

From initial enquiry until final invoice the Masons team have been professional, helpful and friendly. We did a video link walk in our old home as live at a distance. Easy to do - and we got our quote the next day for removal, packing and storage of excess items. Mason's of Barry undertook a removal requiring collection from three floors and a full packing service. Some furniture required dismantling and reassembly. The crew were friendly and efficient, clean and thoughtful. Everything required was done exactly as requested, on time. Everything arrived safely, and in the same condition it was collected. From start to finish, I would not fault them. I do not hesitate to recommend them, and would definitely use them again.

Masons helped move some items of furniture for me, including a valuable dresser, from one storage facility to another plus picking up and dropping off at two other locations. They were very efficient and nothing was too much trouble. They were pleasant and positive throughout.

These guys are truly amazing! I used the packing service and it was very smooth and made the process of moving much less stressful. My original movers (Steve and Justin) were great - friendly, efficient and helpful. Unfortunately I ended up not getting keys to my new home on the day and Masons were brilliant. They kept my possessions safe in the vans for the weekend and then sent out 6 guys on the Monday to get me moved in as quickly as possible. I cannot thank the Masons crew enough for their help, expertise and patience in organising me through a chaotic and difficult day. A delay at my destination resulted in a late finish, but again their speed and efficiency put me safely in my new home by days end. So glad I chose Masons and would definitely recommend them.

We sold our property in March 2021 and put our household goods in to storage with Masons; they moved us in to our new house in October 2022. The collection of our goods was adequate but seemed a little haphazard in the way the property was put into the storage containers with, it seemed, little attention paid to the 'Fragile' and 'This way up' signs on the boxes. That said there seems to be little damage to the boxes we've opened so far in our new house. The delivery to our new house was very efficient and their team were very careful in avoiding damage to the new house. Our main issue is with the storage. We were told that the storage facilities were climate controlled but a lot of the soft materials we've opened are musty and damp and we have mould on some of the furniture. As a moving company they're probably no better or worse than the others but if you're planning to store household goods it might be worth physically checking on the temperature/humidity of the facilities and compare with other companies.

The Masons team were all absolutely fantastic. They provided an incredibly professional service at all levels. They were really accommodating even though our date changed several times. The removal team took incredible care packing delicate items and were really efficient at getting things sorted with minimum fuss and stress. The whole process was fantastically smooth. The Masons team were excellent from start to finish. The move was quite daunting and stressful for us as we had to move quite quickly and had to make big decisions on short notice. Nothing was daunting or too much trouble for Richard and his team. Richard was always there to help us work out the best options and go the extra mile to accommodate our ever changing circumstances. We had to move our furniture into storage for a couple of month and moved from Cardiff to Winchester. The teams doing both removal and delivery were excellent, professional and very experienced. The 2 men assigned to us for the day operated with the utmost professionalism, both during the move out from our 4 bed property and the move into a smaller 3 bed house. What was most amazing was the speed they worked at and the care taken with our possessions, my wife and I thought that our sofa would not get through the front door of our new home but it was soon sat in the front room with no damage to the sofa, walls or paintwork. Would I use Masons again? Most definitely. Would I recommend Masons to anyone else? Masons are excellent and I’d happily recommend them. They moved me from Swansea to Barry very effectively. The office staff were friendly and professional and the removals men were just the same. They took great care moving not only the easier but also the more challenging items out of one house and garden and into another. The bed mattresses were put into sealed packs and the furniture was padded. Everything was well stacked and secured in the lorry and van and nothing was damaged, be it the moved items or the buildings. Masons provided an excellent and professional service in both packing and delivering our belongings to our new house. Their price was competitive. The office staff that we dealt with during the initial stages of planning and agreeing the move were unfailingly polite, responsive, honest and a pleasure to deal with. We have used Masons before so they were the first people we looked to for our recent move from South Wales to Kent. They provided an efficient, professional but friendly service and are good value. As we sold back in April, everything was put in storage for three months but everything arrived intact and undamaged as everything was carefully packed. We moved in on two of the hottest days on record in the UK but they carried on regardless without complaint. When you call the company, more often than not it is one of the Mason family that answers the call as they obviously like to keep close to their customers, which is a good sign for any business.

We moved from a five bed home to an apartment. So it was quite a big job so quite daunting for us, and to add a little complexity, half way through the process we had to change to non-simultaneous completion. The staff member who attended to the packing, worked very systematically and effectively during the process to ensure all ornaments, mirrors and tvs we’re carefully and securely packed. He was at all times very polite considerate and trustworthy. On the day of removal, a team of 3 arrived at the agreed time and they took great care in dismantling beds and wrapping the respective parts, together with all sofas and wooden furniture before transferring them to the removal lorry. I was impressed by the diligent and efficient manner in which they attended to matters and also their approach in ensuring the furniture was stored and individual items recorded as they were placed in their respective wooden containers. I was given a copy of the items placed in each of the 4 respective containers. Not only was it agreed with Masons to store my furniture until my new build property is available to me but they also agreed to take furniture that I no longer required, to the home of my daughter and this was safely delivered. My wife and I have been extremely impressed by all staff who we have met and or spoken to by telephone. They have all been extremely helpful and everything that we asked or expected of them was attended to. The company are without doubt a very professional and caring organisation and I am happy to unreservedly recommend their service.

We cannot fault Masons and we think they are excellent in all departments. In our conversations with Brett and Richard we always felt that we were being listened to and valued, and most importantly they had time for us. The details of the move (a stressful downsize!) were made very clear, with helpful advice given including options for doing all the packing ourselves compared with having it all done for us. The fees were listed accurately with no hidden extras, and we thought they were very reasonable - and later on when we saw how hard Damian and Nathan worked (flat out for two full days) we think that they earned every single penny. Fern visited us to get an idea of the scale of the move and gave us a really accurate estimate of what was needed having also visited our purchase property to check on access issues for vans. We were also impressed with the possibility of using Masons storage if needed. We could only confirm the precise moving date within 10 days of completion, and Masons were very understanding about our uncertainty. They have a huge fleet of vans and an experienced workforce that offer contingency planning should anything be delayed. The day before the move they came in to pack up all our stuff, with the staff understanding immediately the layout and the destinations of boxes for rooms. On the actual day everything went smoothly with no breakages and all boxes and furniture left in the right locations. All in all we would recommend Masons without reservation.

This week I moved from my flat in London to my new home in South Wales. When picking a removal firm, I tried one of the big national firms, but they were unhelpful, didn’t get back to me and on one occasion, quite rude! So I thought I would try a local firm and came across Mason’s Moving Group Ltd. From the first contact to the last box being out away, they were friendly professional and just really nice. They made the whole experience stress free… I was particularly impressed with the two guys who actually did the removal; Warren and Gavin. From the first call to let me know they were on the way, to the empty van yesterday afternoon, they have been brilliant. Polite, efficient, patient, professional - they have made moving a pleasure and easy (at least for me!).

We received our completion date at short notice and I called a few companies and also family but Mason's fit our needs. Paul came out for a look around to see what needed moving, agreed on price and job was set. The next morning Simon and another guy showed up and the move began. We have three times used Masons Moving Group for furniture removal and also once for long-term storage. Removals staff were friendly courteous and professional, treating our property with great care. Fragile items such as televisions were well packaged by staff before removal even though we did not pay an additional sum for a packing service. Both removals were undertaken without any damage either to the home ( despite difficult upstairs access on one occasion) or to the furniture /goods being moved. Our property was in storage for a lengthy time ( about 12 months) and was found to be in excellent condition when it was eventually removed from storage . We would not hesitate to use Masons Moving Group again or to recommend this firm to others.

We had a water leak which meant that we had to put into storage the Dining Room and Breakfast Room Furniture whilst the remedial works took place. The packing crew were great and took care in both the packing and the furniture moving. Everything that was being stored was listed. When the day came to bring the furniture out of storage a crew of four turned up and nothing was too much trouble for them and they did things swiftly and carefully. Masons moved us almost 29 years ago and they were fantastic so we thought we would use them again. The quote was very reasonable for what we wanted, which included a part load to our daughter in England and china and glass packing. A team arrived the day before our move and very carefully packed the fragile items. They then decided to load a van and take it away overnight to get a head start on move day. This was a great idea. The team arrived promptly on move day to finish packing up the house and the garden. There were a lot of boxes as we were moving from a 5 bedroomed house but there wasn't a single grumble that some boxes were clearly very heavy. On the contrary, the team worked with great humour. They arrived on time at our new home (approx 35 miles away) and unloaded the van with the same humour and efficiency, checking with us that we were happy before they left. They even placed our garden furniture exactly where we wanted it rather than just unloading it. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Masons. From our first enquiry until them leaving us at our new home they provided an exceptional level of service and made the day as stress-free as possible. Absolutely first class!!

By far the best removal company I have dealt with. Professional, efficient and super helpful. I am unable to find any fault whatsoever. Very competent pre-move survey carried out in person, answered all my questions and gave me confidence in my choice of remover. Some other companies simply asked for a list of contents to be provided which left me anticipating problem on the day and potentially, a price rise. They were very helpful too trying to organise the moving date which was not easy given my new house was not ready. Much appreciated. On the day, Mason’s arrived on time, all in a fabulous mood - cheerful, eager, positive, and so polite and helpful I was actually taken aback. Their attitude never flagged once, not even as they drove away. My contents had to go into storage for a week and the same service was provided when they came out of storage. From the outset Masons we’re so helpful in sorting out my move. It was (to me) a complicated move requiring a drop off and then storage followed by a later final delivery. But they just took everything in their stride. Not the cheapest company but the service they offered combined with their help and outstanding performance in its execution made them the most desirable company for me. I was really getting myself stressed out about moving from Cardiff back to Hampshire. Masons sent someone round to answer questions and assess the job and ultimately handled disposal of a lot of Ikea furniture, heavy mattresses, a couple of broken microwaves and more. Within five hours of arriving at my place in Cardiff, they had everything in the vans and arrived promptly the following day at my parents 150 miles away. They packed up a whole bunch of stuff I had been unable to get done and they coped with the terrible access at the block of flats I lived in (right in the centre of the city, with no parking of its own and only one lift). I can't recommend them enough and I will likely use them in the future if I return to Cardiff as planned. It wasn't what I'd call cheap (without having several quotes from similar providers) but it's worth paying for quality for the peace of mind and they did a great job. It would have been impossible to do it on our own.

We had to move at relatively short notice and feel so lucky that we chose Masons. They were so helpful and professional in our time of need. On the day the team arrived and made us feel at ease. The office staff were friendly and helpful when I approached them, and a visit was arranged to assess how much stuff we had to move. Judging by the number of boxes they supplied, the young lady who came to assess our house obviously underestimated how much stuff we had to pack up. It wasn't a problem as we'd already bought fifty boxes ourselves, so we had enough, and I know Mason's would have provided more if I'd asked for them. She also failed to take notice of my warning that access to our new property was narrow and difficult, so on the moving day plans had to be hastily changed to swap from a lorry and trailer to two lorries. Thankfully the foreman on site, was able to sort things out, and he and his men were absolutely fantastic across the two days. Nothing was too much trouble, and they went out of their way to make sure everything was packaged to avoid breakages. Ours was a big job, and a lot of stuff had to be taken up two flights of stairs. I found myself apologising for the amount of stuff that had to go in the attic, but the men were really great about it. They were a friendly bunch, and they absolutely worked their socks off on both days. I'd recommend them any day of the week.

From the time I first enquired about my parents move I knew they masons would be the best to book with. Friendly and professional from start to finish. A video survey was done due to COVID restrictions and a price given. It was a great bonus that furniture that was not wanted could be disposed of too. My parents are 88 and had lived in their house for 58 years so moving was pretty stressful for them. Two of the team came to pack the day before and two to move everything the next day. As the title of the review suggests we were impressed by the levels of professionalism shown by Masons from the quoting through to the day of the move and nothing was too much trouble. We had the packing and moving into storage service. A glossy brochure explaining the process was presented (the only company of three we contacted to do so) on the day of the quote. We weren’t pestered to complete engagement forms as we hadn’t exchanged for a month. Original quote was still live when returning for signing contracts. The day of removal was adhered to and the storage pallet estimate was accurate, so the quote was on target. We weren’t asked for any extras on top. The team on the day were really communicative, making us feel relaxed about the structure of the day and asked if not sure as to what was staying or needed packing. All in all it was a very slick experience and I would have no hesitation in recommending Masons. Well done!

A rather unusual set of circumstances in that i was hospitalised a day before the move leaving the task of moving from an 8 bedroom house to a 5 bedroom house to my wife and the Masons team. As planned the packing started 4 days before the move and given the volume packing boxes were gradually moved out leaving the essential items to last. It was organised, calm and to the timescale agreed. My wife welcomed the huge support from all members of the Masons team including the willingness to reposition a few items around the new house. The price is what you got - a well planned and executed move with no damage to items.

Masons handled my mothers move from Yorkshire to South Wales. They were very efficient and organised. Phone calls always answered within a few rings. Written quotation was received within a few hours of request. (Pickfords didn't bother getting back to me with a quote.) Our original moving date was delayed but this wasn't a problem. (I advise purchasing the postponement insurance if your intended moving date is not guaranteed.) Guys who did the shifting turned up on time and were polite and cheerful. All round good service and I would recommend.

This was a simple collection in cardiff, storage and then delivery to an address near Barmouth of a few items of furniture - not a full house move. I dealt with one of the business owners who was very cooperative and efficient, despite this being only a small job. Everything happened as agreed and on time. The two people who delivered the goods let us know their progress and arrived as scheduled. They were both very courteous and friendly. All in all, an excellent service, and I happily recommend this company to others.

Initial impressions on phoning the company was that they were a professional, reliable family run business. They initially sent a surveyor down to talk us through and price the job. We were also at the end of the phone to answer any queries throughout the process. We were supplied with boxes, tape and bubble wrap which was really helpful. On the day of removal the job was completed on time and the removal men were professional and personable. Masons made what could have been a very stressful process very easy. The contents went into storage in Cardiff and they will (as part of the contract) re-deliver to Colchester on 1st November. I am happy to leave a review following this process.

From first contact to waving goodbye to the lorry, the staff at Masons Moving Group have displayed the kind of exemplary customer service and personal engagement that we all want but rarely expect to receive. With some problematic access issues to overcome the 'Can do.' attitude of Brett and Richard in the office and Carl, D and Cameron on the lorries was both reassuring and productive. Throughout, they were client focussed and obviously skilled, demonstrating a truly commendable level of professional care for both the possessions to be transported and the houses they were removed from and carried into, all the while taking time to accommodate our needs and worries. We used the packing service as well as the removal service, and if we ever move again this and Masons will be our 'go to' option. I cannot fault the service delivered and recommend Masons Moving Group without reservation.

From the initial consultation to the end of moving into our new property, Mason’s Staff were friendly, helpful and very professional. We had a very short time between consultation and moving but they managed to accommodate us in their busy schedule. The move went perfectly and was hassle-free, hence the Relax title. Mason’s quote was extremely reasonable for the work undertaken and the removal men dealt with any little problems. It was so stress-free that I was happy to sit back and let them do what they are so good at. I am usually the organiser in our household so it was nice not to have any responsibility for once. The office and removals teams were good communicators, well priced for a quality service, supportive, removal men were accomodating and careful with my furniture and the two-day move went smoothly with no lost items and no noticeable damage! We had a big move from Slough to West Wales (it's amazing how much you find you have collected over time). Including jukeboxes and some artwork. All went smoothly with great packing fitting it all into the van and trailer. It was a great experience and we would do it all again with Masons if we could ever find the stamina to move again!

This company knows what it’s about. They came out to the property to give us a Removal quote. Completely professional and competitive. When they came to pack the day before they were so respectful and polite. On the day we had a big lorry plus trailer plus Luton van. Packed from attic to garage and garden as well as house. When our move was held up until later in the afternoon they reassured us and cheered us up. They diverted another van from another job and we had 7 men to unload. Which was done in a remarkably short time. They also reassembled the beds. Lovely men, excellent company. So glad we chose them.

I highly recommend Mason's to anyone. We opted for the packing service as well. The movers arrived, worked so efficiently and packed with such care and speed it was amazing to watch. Customer service the whole way through was impeccable, from looking for quotes to getting advice on different options. We exchanged on the same day and it was very delayed. Polite, punctual, professional and "no problem". This sums up the service we received from masons. The office staff were most helpful and informative. All the paperwork was in order. The quote was competitive and the video assessment was very reassuring. The removal guys arrived promptly and worked industriously to ensure the majority of our possessions were safely wrapped and stored. The following day everything was loaded and set off to our new home. The next day our possessions were unloaded into rooms, garage or garden as requested in 2 hours, as predicted! We moved from France to UK last month and Masons made it totally stress-free. We had downloaded a video of contents which were to be moved and from that they sent the correct sized units to our home in France. They arrived on the date stated and took everything that we had! Carefully bubble wrapped all my furniture and stored it while having my flooring redone. Very professional, respectful and friendly. They even made friends with my puppy and went out of their way to make sure everything was packed away safely. When redelivering my furniture they covered my new floor so as not to damage it and unpacked and placed all the furniture where it was going for me. They even fixed a door on one cupboard I’ve been meaning to fix for months!

We have had two moves from Masons from our old home to storage and then to our new home. The removal men at all times were courteous, professional and polite. I would not hesitate to recommend Masons Removal Staff. Our tv's and pictures were packed with care. I was surprised that I had to provide an EXTRA payment for insurance, which I considered should have been included in the service. I would have thought that there would be an duty of care on the movers part to ensure there was no damage perpetrated while our goods were in there care. If there was damage it should have been their responsibility not mine. Empty boxes were collected speedily from our home when empty, an excellent 'extra' by the company and appreciated.

Masons have moved house for me several times but on this occasion they moved furniture from me to my son who now lives in California. Masons were professional and instilled confidence in their service at all times but still remained friendly and approachable. Nothing was too much trouble. Masons did an excellent job in moving me from Rhoose to Penarth. I had been almost dreading the day but everything went so smoothly I won't say I actually enjoyed it but it was entirely trouble free! The three removal people arrived on time and set to work immediately. They packed and stowed my belongings on the van in record time. I plucked Mason Group out of an on line search after being let down by other so called removal companies. Masons turned up to survey at the agreed time, supplied me with a quotation and did everything they said they would do within reasonable time. We had masons for a 2 day move, packing on day 1 was done efficiently by 2 lovely people. The move day went like clockwork and the 4 worked so hard, including moving a huge kitchen cupboard, on a warm day. Everyone was so professional, cheerful and helpful, including returning a fridge freezer to our old house, which we had mistakenly taken with us! our fault, luckily our buyers also used masons, and we moved within Penarth. The return of the fridge freezer was managed so well by masons too. We exchanged and completed on day 2 which added enormously to our stress levels. However both masons brothers we dealt with in the office couldn't have been more helpful, understanding and accommodating. Masons made the whole thing so much easier to deal with. We contacted Masons after having second thoughts about using a different overseas remover who kept adding extras once we had accepted their quote. Masons were recommended by numerous work colleagues and so we asked for a quote (only two weeks before moving date) We were moving from UK to Finland right in the middle of this Coronavirus Pandemic. We received the quote the day following the surveyors visit, it was comprehensive and included full overseas packing customs documents etc. The staff at Masons were really first class, easy to talk to and every question answered, the packers arrived and time and worked quickly to pack everything extremely well - much better than we could have done ourselves, talking to them they were all long time employees and their teamwork really showed as they all just got on with the job and were very helpful and efficient. The move went as they had planned and there were no problems with our goods arriving within the indicated timescale with no hidden extra charges. Overall I'm glad we chose Masons for this move from Wales to Finland, their experience in International moving totally took the stress out of the move for us and its clear from others feedback that this is how they work. In summary if you want to deal with a family firm that communicates well and does what they promise these are the people and I recommend them without hesitation

Two-day move including packing on Day 1. This took longer than anticipated because only one operative (Nathan) available so whole day instead of half. However he was efficient and effective - knew exactly what to do and gave helpful suggestions about leaving some items until Day 2. Moving day was excellent: part-load to a separate address taken first thing then main load for local delivery. Wyn and Carl were the removers - most helpful and pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. Move was to an apartment so everything had to be moved into a lift and then the property. Unpacking since has shown how well packing had been done and labelled to help identify what was where. Nothing was damaged. Throughout - from first enquiry to actual move - can't fault the company. I don't plan to move again but if I do it will be Masons again.

The team masons sent for our move were excellent, nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to be as helpful as possible.

From the survey, through to the delivery of our possessions, it was a pleasure to deal with Masons. The survey was thorough and comprehensive, the quote for the work was competitive, the administration, planning and customer service was first class and the staff that moved us were friendly, helpful, respectful of our home and efficient.
