All works completed as quoted in an extremely professional manner considering the awful weather conditions ( it rained nearly every day from start to finish over the six weeks it took to complete the works ). The trader was always polite,helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I would certainly recommend him and use him again for any future works.

Thatch repair and re-ridging a kitchen extension. We were badly let down by another thatcher who walked out leaving the job not finished and loads of mess. Nick and team sorted it out and finished the job leaving everywhere tidy. They finished on time and did some tidying up after the scaffolding came down while we were away. They did an amazing job, completed the thatch, added a fire barrier, sorted out a half finished window and then ridged to finish. They cleared up every evening and left everything clear at the end. The contract we had with them was comprehensive and the payment schedule was very clear. Their communication was very good. Can highly recommend, a really good job completed with no fuss. Our house is beautiful again. If I need work done in the future I will certainly use them again.

This is the second time I’ve used Nick and the team, this time for a new ridge. They are punctual, courteous and completed the job to a fantastic standard, both times ahead of schedule.

I was very apprehensive about having the ridge on my thatched cottage renewed. Nick gave me a quote for his work, arranged for the scaffolder and coordinated his work. He told me it would take about 3 weeks, which it did. It did not go above budget. When there was a problem with the brickwork and leading around the chimney he arranged for its expert resolution. All in all it was work done by a very pleasant and helpful team with a great deal of expertise and knowhow. I'm very pleased with the end result.

Nick and his team repaired our thatch and renewed the ridge. Their work is of an excellent standard and the roof now looks fantastic, maintaining the original style. It was a pleasure to have them at our home and they were always punctual despite freezing conditions and having to travel long distances in the snow and ice.
