Buds Landscapes

I have a very large area of patio and pathways in my garden which had been laid in 2009/10. We pressure wash them annually and in the time after they were laid, there has been some subsidence in a small area however the biggest issue was the breakdown of the concrete pointing. This began not long after the patio/paths were laid - at a guess by about 5 years. I decided that when we were redoing the pointing I was going to use something that would last, I did not want to have to do this job again. My research lead me to a product called GftK’s vdw 800 Paving Joint Mortar and reading an independent review of different options, this product came out on top. It is 2x the price of a similar-looking product but has proven much better longevity. When I contacted the supplier I asked for the details of any tradespeople in my area that used their product as I wanted someone that knew it and would do a good job. They gave me the details for Buds and I am extremely happy with the job they did for me. It has now been down over a month and it looks like the day they did it. Time will tell but I am very happy and if it does not last, that will be down to the product not the application. I would highly recommend Buds as they have done a fantastic job, were very accommodating and as clean and tidy as one can be when grinding out concrete grout. Highly recommend Buds.

Brilliant job, beyond our expectations. Landscaped whole garden with oak sleepers to address sloping hill issue of unusable space towards the rear of the garden. Created two sleeper walls with a planting bed in between. Levelled garden and laid two areas of porcelain patio. The steps up to our top level are amazing. I would highly recommend Buds for any extensive garden project. Matt and Arnie are professional and their workmanship is of a very high standard. I am thrilled with the transformation of my garden.

We used Matt and the team to replace our rear patio and then to replace our front drive - the results are wonderful. We hired Buds to do our driveway,the paths at the front & side of our home and build a new path leading to our front door. The quote process at the beginning was made easy by all the help and advice that we were given, in terms of the block type and colour, the suggested shape/layout. The weather hasn’t been at its best for the type of work but they have worked their way through it. They are good communicators so we always knew what time they were coming in the day (99% of the time at 8am), what they were doing and what stage we were at. They are very meticulous about their work and it shows in the quality result.They are very trustworthy and we were quite happy to leave them the keys to our house when we went out so that they could use the make hot drinks, use toilet etc. They work together well as a team, have a good sense of humour & are easy to get on with. Very happy that we chose Buds for this project and would do so again.

The team created our new driveway in the agreed time frame by working tirelessly and the finished work was far beyond our expectations. Having recently had building work carried out it was a breath of fresh air to have workmen arrive when they say they are going to. From our very first meeting they have been truly professional and it is obvious that they takes great pride in delivering the best results for his customers. The work was carried out as per the quote and to a high standard with pride taken in the completed job. No issues at all, so I would use again for other landscape work.

Matt Court and the team at Buds are the best! We engaged Matt to transform our old-fashioned rear garden into an extension of our living space. We had a good idea of what we wanted and an outline design to work to. The patio was in dire need of refurbishment. Quite a lot of the stone slabs needed to lifted and re-seated. Some were loose, others had subsided or raised up. After relaying, the whole patio was repointed to an excellent standard. I would not hesitate to use them again and would recommend them.

Matt and his team re-pointed our patio, created a new driveway layout and replaced hedging. I am very pleased with the outcome and would recommend them.
