About
The company was started back in 1982 by proprietor Mike Christian who has been in the alarm industry just about all of his working life. A family business run by Mike and his son Stephen who together look after all of the surveys, installations and servicing side of the business, Mike's granddaughter Emma has also joined the team. Daughter Amanda and other granddaughter Laura look after office administration.
As a traditional family business we have been trading for over 40 years, fully insured and a member of the Which Trusted Traders Scheme.
Most of our customers are either referrals or repeat business, with a vast customer database of over 6000 customers we cover areas from right here on the Wirral to as far as Lancashire and even Anglesey in North Wales. Over the years the business has expanded and now provides a full range of security services including residential as well as commercial Intruder Alarm systems, CCTV , security lighting and door entry systems and full maintenance and repairs.

We had CCTV System installed. From 1st contact to installation was 5 days, with appointment times and installation times kept too. Gave very good advice as to what would suit our needs and actually showed that we did not need as many camaras as we asked for so saving a considerable amount of money. After installation we where given a much time as we needed been shown how to use the system and how too set up remote access via phones and tablets. Throughout the whole process everything was carried out with complete professionism and friendliness.

Mike came out on a Sunday morning and looked at two jobs I needed doing at two locations. We discussed my requirements and he gave me a quote right away for one job and a day later for the other. I was more than happy with his approach and gave him the go ahead. The jobs were carried out on two different days which they arrived on time and did without fuss or mess. Whatever your requirements speak to Mike first for honest advice and prices.

Existing alarm annually serviced but with other work being done to the house it was time to update. MCA quoted for new state of the art Radio Alarm system and exterior lighting which I found to be both competitive and suitable for our requirements. Personal circumstances meant I wanted it done sooner rather than later so MCA rearranged schedule to accommodate and job completed in a timely and efficient manner (as always). They set an example of Customer Service and I hope I get opportunity to refer them on as I would have no hesitation in doing so.

Just had the alarm system upgraded by MCA. They fitted the original system some 35 years ago and we've never had any bother with it, having it serviced each year by them. (Needed a system with no wiring) The same great service, gave a quote, turned up and did it, what more can you say! We have been customers of MCA Security Services for more than 37 years. We have always had an MCA alarm system. In that long period we have upgraded our alarm system several times: the latest upgrade was carried out on 5th March 2021 when a wireless/wifi system was installed by Mike and Steve. The equipment quality is excellent and it works just as well as all of the other systems we have had over the years. In all the time we have used the company we have always found everyone involved to be friendly, efficient and courteous. MCA is a long-term family business and it is clear that the same quality of service ethic is present right throughout the company. The Customer Service and Maintainance side of the company is also first rate and any queries are always handled with care. We would recommend MCA without any reservation at all and would encourage anyone thinking of having an alarm system installed to contact them first so as to ensure the best possible outcome.

The team at MCA are super helpful and really friendly. The site survey was conducted by the owner and his advice was fantastic and really helped me. Having had an alarm fitted by MCA years ago with a good, reliable service always being provided, we recently extended our property and didn't hesitate to ask them to quote for providing a new upgraded wireless system and opted for one that can be operated via your phone. This Stephen and Mike fitted, for the cost quoted, arriving on time, working promptly and, something that always makes a nice change, cleaning up after themselves. They are friendly, polite and you feel you can trust them around your home. Mandy, in the office, can always be contacted and was very helpful in finding an alternative date when we couldn't manage the original date programmed for installation. I wouldn't hesitate from recommending MCA to anyone.

A prompt response to my initial enquiry was followed up by a visit from Mike to talk through requirements and provide a quote. On confirming the go-ahead we quickly agreed date and time to undertake the work - the team turned up on time and undertook the work in a very professional manner. Once the installation was complete Mike set up the CCTV app on my phone and talked me through the system in a clear and easy to understand manner. Overall, I've been very pleased with the service provided from beginning to end - a great local family company who are experts in their field.

Mike , Steve and Emma arrived as arranged first thing this morning. Very pleasant and very helpful. They supplied and fitted a complete intruder system, a solar camera, a video doorbell and two security lights. Very professional and tidy. Obviously they care about their products and their customers. All relevant apps were installed in our phones and they took all the time they needed to ensure we knew what we were doing with these apps.
