Mike installed our TVs 7 years ago when we first moved here and in the intervening years nothing has changed. The service is still outstanding, the cost more than reasonable and the attention to detail and the lengths he goes to ensure he leaves no trace of his installation work are exemplary. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Mike responded quickly to an email enquiry and arranged to come the following week. He arrived on time, quickly assessed the problem and set to work. He knows his trade well and was fully equipped to replace the entire aerial. We can now watch TV when it rains.

Mike (MD Aerials) arrived promptly and installed an Aerial on the roof. Cable clipped neatly down the side of the house and used an existing hole that a certain Red media supplier had previously drilled ( as the hole was massive! ) Set up the TV and suddenly I have 150+ digital channels. 1st class service from Mike. Thankyou. Reason for changing to Aerial - spiralling cost of The big red company charging £100 / month for a poor quality 130mbps digital signal (coax). Internet drops out and had download speeds of 22mbps at times. Waste of time getting in touch as they have excuses etc and when they do come out, they supposedly fix the problem. Changed Internet to Truespeed for £29/month for >600mbps. It really is that fast and good and fast and doesn't drop out! Thus, Added the aerial for TV. Total savings for switch start after <3 months as cost of aerial install and new internet will be covered in this time. A No brainer! Bought a new recorder so this will pay for itself in another 3 months. Get in touch with Mike for a quality install.

Aerial needed replacing, but unable to access the aerial mast due to long roof. Came up with an alternative solution, putting the aerial within the roof space and re-utilising alternative wiring. Worked quickly, and checked that all was ok before he left. We've used Mike before, but had scaffolding up then for another problem. Saved the expense of scaffolding again.

Mike identified the problem very quickly with the digital HD channels pixelating and fitted a new amplifier and power unit.

I have used MD Aerials for a number of years. Not only does Mike give a great service he always goes that extra mile to give a superb one. His technical knowledge is up to date and extensive.

I asked Mike to remove an old aerial on a property I am trying to sell for a family member. I live in Spain and was unsure if I would struggle to find a reputable person that I could trust with keys to the property. I am not local to Thornbury either, so I could only go on online reviews. I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised. Mike removed the aerial which had come loose in a storm at very short notice and at a very reasonable rate. I was impressed with his professionalism and I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone else. All in all a very satisfactory job done quickly and at a good price.

Mike is excellent, fast, efficient, tidy, absolutely, he left no mess and an exceptional installation. Arriving promptly, Mike managed to re use my existing satellite dish and renewed the bracket and cables, saving cost! My external cables were installed to be almost invisible. No dust left from drilling and the old cables removed neatly.

Mike was everything you’d want from a tradesman. Reliable, punctual, tidy, and did the job efficiently and at the price quoted. He managed to install the aerial within the loft which was what we preferred and then he checked reception and tuning on TVs. He was great so we would have no hesitation in using him in the future.

Can’t recommend Mike highly enough. Great communicator. Called me back when he said he would and called ahead of his visit to check still convenient. He came with all the correct equipment to check our signal quickly, properly and to fix it. If we hadn’t asked for the new dish (which he also had on his van) I reckon he would have been in and out inside 15 minutes! There was no push to sell the new dish, I just thought it would be sensible as he was here. Experienced, equipped and worth every penny.

I sought two traders to install Freesat satellite dish, two aerial sockets for two rooms, TV wall mounted bracket. Mike of MD Aerials my preferred installer, having read reviews on MD Aerials, meeting Mike, I could tell I was in good hands, professional, polite, good phone & personable skills as well as wealth of knowledge and experience. Mike fitted a new aerial on our chimney so we could receive Freeview. Mike was professional and friendly. He arrived on time, assessed the job, agreed the details with me, and completed the installation quickly despite quite bad weather. Mike hid the aerial wire very neatly behind an existing downpipe. Finally, Mike stayed to tune in both our Freeview devices. The invoice was as originally quoted.

Great service. Replaced my old fallen aerial with a new log periodic one which should be less susceptible to wind. The signal strength and quality are now 100/100. Very neat job at a reasonable cost.

My parents have been having problems with their satellite dish and TV reception for ages. Mike was very sympathetic on the phone, helpful and courteous and we agreed to meet at their house to sort the issue. He was punctual and polite and made it easy to understand what the problem was and what the options were. He was fast at work but had time to discuss and make sure we were happy. He was also very reasonable. I would *highly* recommend Mike to anyone.

The work was very neat and well done. Communication was good - I needed a TV aerial and another aerial fitted that Mike had not come across before but he researched it and kept me updated and did a great job. He is very knowledgeable and takes pride in his work. I would recommend him one hundred percent.

Really great service. Took the time to explain the problem we were having and the solution to fix it even if we wanted to do it ourselves. Work was completed quickly at a good price and we now have good TV signal throughout the house. Would highly recommend.
