Stephen and his team replaced our boiler and old tank system with a new Worcester Bosch combi boiler. They were very thorough, advising us on various options and finding a solution that fits best for our house. They completed the job within the stated timeframes and were very professional and tidy. Lovely guys, very friendly. Stephen also previously helped us out at very short notice when our boiler tripped in the middle of winter with a newborn and toddler at home - eternally greatful for that! Would recommend to anyone without hesitation.

The team at Mercer Plumbing fitted a new boiler for us. They were very helping when advising on new boiler and provided a range of price options. When fitting boiler they were lovely to have in the house for the day. Did a great job and ensured to clean/tidy before they left.

The team worked flat out after we had a boiler system fail. The boiler was a 12 year warranty 30kw Worcester Bosch, no other supplier could offer a free boiler warranty period this long. They were extremely professional and helpful. The price was about £1000 less than larger companies and they offered 0% finance. It was installed in a day compared to Scottish Gas who charged twice as much and installation over 3 days. It was good to see them with an apprentice and growing their team.

Stephen from Mercer plumbing was round a couple of hours after my emergency call late on a friday afternoon during a very busy period (burst pipes everywhere in central Scotland!). He identified my boiler fault which was leaking water, conducted a prompt check - frozen condensate overflow drain pipe - and solution and provided much needed reassurance that the problem was minor and reversible. He then charged a very reasonable call out fee. All in all a great service - honest, reliable, credible and professional. What more can you ask - one of life's good guys.

We had the guys at Mercer Plumbing out to remove an old back boiler and fit a new boiler and 5 radiators in our house. They were prompt and efficient and cleared up any mess they made. They were clear in showing us how to use our new boiler system and thermostat and were able to give us advice with our new heating system. They even finished the job earlier than we expected which was helpful. Great, hard working guys who we would recommend to anyone needing a new boiler and radiators!

We have used Mercer's on a number of occasions and found that they provide quick, efficient and excellent service. During Covid both Steven and Barry observed all safety rules while still maintaining a friendly, approachable service. Cannot recommend them too highly

Despite repeated requests to return and investigate ongoing problems arising immediately after install Mercer has offered no help. Eventually we had a Worcester engineer out who replaced the heat exchanger and pointed out the other failings made by Mercer in the installation which resulted in us getting a do not use notification from Worcester who told us we would not be covered by their warranty until remedial works done to Mercer's installation were complete because of safety concerns. We are now looking for someone to undertake these works. The experience with Mercer has been absolutely awful.

Needed a boiler replacement and sought 3 quotes (with accompanying visits to see the job), identifying candidates via Which and local TT schemes, and compared those quotes with the online providers. The price these guys offered was fair and reasonable, the associated advice was excellent and I appointed them to do the job. They arrived promptly on the agreed date (about 2 weeks after appointment - the previous boiler still worked, so no real urgency), worked hard, got the job done smoothly, were pleasant and polite throughout, cleaned up after themselves and took time to go through the features of the new boiler in detail. This was a completely painless and extremely pleasing job. I will not go anywhere else in future for annual services or repairs (albeit now have a 12 year guarantee) and am delighted to highly recommend to others needing similar work done.

We first got in touch the previous week after being recommended by another tradesman. Because we are both in our eighties we were considered to be a priority. This was a great relief to us as we had no hot water or heating. The owner of the firm came that same day and tried to repair our old boiler but it was needing parts which were not available. The decision was made to get a new boiler which was installed at the first opportunity by what I would call the A-team! The team were great workers and it was a pleasure to have them in our home. Nothing was any trouble to them. Pipes had to be moved to allow the new boiler to fit in our cupboard. Everything is working well now and we are very appreciative of the service we received.

A continuous level of high quality of work throughout the job. The initial estimate was the fixed price with no extra hidden costs. Professional guys who knew exactly how to do the job and continuously explained each part of the job. Dealt with all problems they met with no extra cost. Gave good advice with regards to cost-saving and would be highly recommended.
