Great customer service provided from start to finish. Everyone was very friendly and helpful from the first visit receiving the quote and answering queries on the phone, to the surveyor and the work done by the fitters. I had two internal doors fitted and it’s made a real difference. The quality of work was excellent and the fitters did such a neat and good job. I would highly recommend Meridian.

Having a conservatory linking off of our lounge meant our house was seriously cold in the winter. Getting the roof changed on the conservatory has made such an amazing difference to the warmth of our home. The difference has probably been greater than that from getting all our double glazing changed! Meridian also did a good job. They kept the place tidy and were trustworthy when left unattended.

Meridian were recommended to us and we couldn’t be happier. Andrew was great helping us to consider what options were available, considering budget etc. The work was excellent, high quality, left clean and tidy every day. Paul and Tony were great, keeping up informed each day of the progress. Plasterer Gary did an amazing job as did Wyl the electrician. We couldn’t be more happy with the results and would not hesitate to recommend Meridian and would certainly use them again.

Meridian installed new windows and doors and fitted a new Guardian Warm Roof on our old conservatory... We were very happy with their approach to the work, showing up on time every day, very polite and helpful. Very professional all round. It has transformed our old conservatory into a much better place and we are very happy with the end result.

Old and misted up double glazed units recently replaced by Meridian who had originally installed the units in my house more than 20 years ago (before I was the owner). Other replacement unit companies were not interested in the work, due to the units being on the third floor of a town house.

Meridian replaced the polycarbonate roof of our conservatory with a Heatguard warm roof. We were impressed by the work and professionalism of all members of the firm who were involved with the project. In recent hot weather we have already noticed a significant benefit from our solid, insulated roof, which should now provide us with a comfortable and attractive environment for all year round use. Our entire experience was of a firm which really cares for its customers, and which will readily go the extra mile to ensure that they are happy with the work which is done.

We have used Meridian for 2 major projects this year. The first was for a new warm roof conservatory in the summer and last month we used them again to fit new windows and a front door. We have been delighted with all their work and customer service from the point of booking right through to the completion of the work and aftercare. We found the fitters for both jobs very friendly and professional. We highly recommended them to anyone looking for new doors, windows and conservatories.

Leaking and unfinished canopy

The survey was carried out with the option to have the decorative arches for the canopy.The installation date was confirmed but no one actually showed up. The installers proceeded to fit the canopy (was not happy for the fixtures to lay on a weathered piece of wood). Don't know if the surveyor would suggest this permanent structure be fitted onto a very tired piece of wood or the fitters not caring about the longevity of their work! The price changed as a result. Contacted the office to let them know the canopy was leaking, as well as requesting that the rest of the arches be installed as there was 4 already installed but looks odd as there should be 8 in total. Spoke with several members of staff regarding the arches, was not told that they were out of stock until the installers came to complete the job. Emailed the office asking requesting a follow up on this job but its almost 3 week with no response.

We are however very disappointed that you have left negative comments as when we completed the canopy installation you were very complimentary about the work we had completed for you and commended our fitting team. The leaking that you mentioned was from an existing roof that our canopy was being attached to. We did not install this roof and we worked and cooperated fully with your 3rd party roofing company to get around the problem, even though it affected the installation of the canopy that we were supplying. In respects to the gallows brackets, we installed what was ordered on your original contract. Unfortunately the supply of these brackets is outside our control but we do apologise for any inconvenience caused by our supplier being out of stock. We believe that all works have now been completed to your satisfaction but please do not hesitate to get in touch if we can be of any further assistance. Kind regards, Meridian Homes

When completed, swept up what little mess they had made, explained the new locking system,checked that I was satisfied and departed . The job took little more than 2 hours

Bad trader
Had an agreement for them to: Replace wooden door with PVC; Replace wooden wooden panel above that door with window; Replace roof wooden part; Replace felted roof with epdm; Work was supposed to happen on the 20th after them cancelling many times, the agreement has measurements taken which are clear and signed. I have given a deposit. The day before they speaking in not knowing the height, but you wrote it down dear. So now just want deposit back.

25 years of using Meridian

We first had a hardwood conservatory with a polycarbonate roof built by Meridian some 25 years ago. Subsequently, we have had the roof replaced with modern self-cleaning K-glass- again by Meridian. They also replaced the Georgian wired glass roof of our breakfast room. Upstairs we've had two large and heavy hardwood double windows replaced by them. In the last few days we've had Graham, the surveyor, in to look at replacing a 40 year old fully glazed door. As all their previous work has been first-class we are fully confident that the current job will be competently completed. In summary, Graham and the men carrying out the work have been excellent.

A good honest supplier its quality products

Had lean to roof of existing conservatory replaced with solid roof, all windows replaced. Two skylights put into new roof. New guttering and existing double French doors moved to another room resulting in the kitchen and conservatory becoming one. The two man team were very good. The workmanship was excellent and they made several suggestions which enhanced the finished work. Always tidied up and took away debris.

Since 2011, at different times, we have always dealt with the same sales person, had his number stored in our phones and we have had every single window replaced in our home, two patio doors, the street door and the last project to be completed was a conservatory built. Meridian are a family business, you agree a price for the job without all the haggling you experience with other such companies, the installers are a friendly and trustworthy bunch of guys and you know if there are any issues at a later date with sticking doors or a broken catch on a window, which can happen, they are only a phone call away and return to fix it without any question. Would always recommend them.

Meridian fitted a new glass roof on our conservatory to replace the polycarbonate roof. The new roof is absolutely brilliant and there have been no problems at all it is 2 years since it was fitted. The guys who came to fit the roof were excellent with great attention to detail.

After recommendation from a neighbour I invited Meridian to do a survey advise options and ultimately fit a new lean-to conservatory at the rear of my cottage. Advice given was honest and thorough cost was vey reasonable. The work took approximately 3 days - with no fuss or complications. The fitters were polite and did a good job.
